Gradonačelnik Dubrovnika Mato Franković govorio je na sjednici Gradskog vijeća o otvaranju gay bara Milk u Dubrovniku, na kojemu je i osobno nazočio, prenosi Dubrovački vjesnik.

Odgovarao je pritom na pitanje vijećnika Mara Kristića (MOST) kojega je zanimalo ima li gay bar suglasnost za korištenje javne površine na kojoj se dogodio performans pri ceremoniji otvaranja za kojeg kaže kako je u najmanju ruku 'dvojben i degutantan', a odnosi se na izvođače koji su koristili pogrdne riječi nekoliko metara od škole, doma za stare i nemoćne Domus Christi, katedrale i crkve sv. Vlaha. Upitao ga je namjerava li Grad to sankcionirati.

Kum prvog gej bara u Dalmaciji poručio je gazdi Tomislavu: U svijetu imaju lijepe termine poput ‘gej‘, u nas je to ‘tubaš‘! Sad ga možeš izvadit‘!; Matija Vuica oduševljena: Ovdje pripadam!

Vijećnik je napomeno kako samo otvaranje gay bara nije upitno, ali smatra da za popratna događanja na javnoj površini 'omalovažavaju osjećaje građana'.

- Osobno sam nazočio samom činu otvaranja i mislim da je to dobro za grad izvrsnosti - odgovorio je gradonačelnik Franković napomenuvši kako sve svjetske destinacije imaju gay barove.

- Bio sam pola sata, četrdesetak minuta, koliko je trajao sam čin otvaranja i tu je bilo sve kulturno i bez ekscesa. Nažalost, sutradan sam dobio niz videozapisa i primjedaba, a vezano za performans na ulici. Potpuno neprimjereno, nekorektno, nekulturno za jedan grad kao što je Dubrovnik. Zasjenili su jednu priču koja je bila u redu - jednim lošim činom. Unutar svog prostora mogu raditi što hoće, ali na javnoj površini to ne mogu raditi. Radi se o vulgarnom činu koji je derogirao ono što je veliki broj naših sugrađana pozdravio kao pozitivnu stvar. Podsjetit ću da u našem gradu najmanje tri desetljeća postoji i gay plaža na Lokrumu i nikome to ne smetra niti se to ističe. Mi smo jedan tolerantan, prije svega grad kulture - rekao je Franković te najavio kako će Grad Dubrovnik u okviru odluke o komunalnom redu znati postupati kako se takav čin ne bi ponovio.

Istaknuo je kako je svojim dolaskom pokazao poštovanje prema različitostima.

Gradonačelnik Dubrovnika Mato Franković govorio je na sjednici Gradskog vijeća o otvaranju gay bara Milk u Dubrovniku, na kojemu je i osobno nazočio, prenosi Dubrovački vjesnik.

Odgovarao je pritom na pitanje vijećnika Mara Kristića (MOST) kojega je zanimalo ima li gay bar suglasnost za korištenje javne površine na kojoj se dogodio performans pri ceremoniji otvaranja za kojeg kaže kako je u najmanju ruku 'dvojben i degutantan', a odnosi se na izvođače koji su koristili pogrdne riječi nekoliko metara od škole, doma za stare i nemoćne Domus Christi, katedrale i crkve sv. Vlaha. Upitao ga je namjerava li Grad to sankcionirati.

Kum prvog gej bara u Dalmaciji poručio je gazdi Tomislavu: U svijetu imaju lijepe termine poput ‘gej‘, u nas je to ‘tubaš‘! Sad ga možeš izvadit‘!; Matija Vuica oduševljena: Ovdje pripadam!

Vijećnik je napomeno kako samo otvaranje gay bara nije upitno, ali smatra da za popratna događanja na javnoj površini 'omalovažavaju osjećaje građana'.

- Osobno sam nazočio samom činu otvaranja i mislim da je to dobro za grad izvrsnosti - odgovorio je gradonačelnik Franković napomenuvši kako sve svjetske destinacije imaju gay barove.

- Bio sam pola sata, četrdesetak minuta, koliko je trajao sam čin otvaranja i tu je bilo sve kulturno i bez ekscesa. Nažalost, sutradan sam dobio niz videozapisa i primjedaba, a vezano za performans na ulici. Potpuno neprimjereno, nekorektno, nekulturno za jedan grad kao što je Dubrovnik. Zasjenili su jednu priču koja je bila u redu - jednim lošim činom. Unutar svog prostora mogu raditi što hoće, ali na javnoj površini to ne mogu raditi. Radi se o vulgarnom činu koji je derogirao ono što je veliki broj naših sugrađana pozdravio kao pozitivnu stvar. Podsjetit ću da u našem gradu najmanje tri desetljeća postoji i gay plaža na Lokrumu i nikome to ne smetra niti se to ističe. Mi smo jedan tolerantan, prije svega grad kulture - rekao je Franković te najavio kako će Grad Dubrovnik u okviru odluke o komunalnom redu znati postupati kako se takav čin ne bi ponovio.

Istaknuo je kako je svojim dolaskom pokazao poštovanje prema različitostima.

Gradonačelnik Dubrovnika Mato Franković govorio je na sjednici Gradskog vijeća o otvaranju gay bara Milk u Dubrovniku, na kojemu je i osobno nazočio, prenosi Dubrovački vjesnik.

Odgovarao je pritom na pitanje vijećnika Mara Kristića (MOST) kojega je zanimalo ima li gay bar suglasnost za korištenje javne površine na kojoj se dogodio performans pri ceremoniji otvaranja za kojeg kaže kako je u najmanju ruku 'dvojben i degutantan', a odnosi se na izvođače koji su koristili pogrdne riječi nekoliko metara od škole, doma za stare i nemoćne Domus Christi, katedrale i crkve sv. Vlaha. Upitao ga je namjerava li Grad to sankcionirati.

Kum prvog gej bara u Dalmaciji poručio je gazdi Tomislavu: U svijetu imaju lijepe termine poput ‘gej‘, u nas je to ‘tubaš‘! Sad ga možeš izvadit‘!;...
