Dubrovačkim Primorjem luta medvjed. Posjetio je dva pčelara, rušio im košnice i tražio med. Potvrdu ove informacije potražili smo na licu mjesta u Dubrovačkom Primorju kako bi se uvjerili je li medvjed dirao košnice ili je to bila neka druga divlja zvijer.

Ivo Lopina iz tamošnjeg pčelarskog društva nema dvojbe. Pojavio se medvjed. Dvojica pčelara prošlih su dana imali neželjenog gosta. Prevrnuo je košnice i pojeo med na dvije lokacije kod Banića i na Rudinama. Isprevrtao je petnaestak košnica, a po tragovima koje je ostavio lako se dade zaključiti da je riječ medvjed, premda ga nisu izravno vidjeli.
Medvjed se i do sada pojavljivao na ovim prostorima, prošle godine je snimljen kako pliva na Pelješac, a Denis Šešelj na svom Facebook profilu je objavio da je medvjed nedavno viđen na predjelu Slivna.
Na području naše općine, brdski dio Slivno-Glavice-Zavala luta mladi mužjak medvjeda očito jedan od onih troje mladunaca koji su zatečeni prije par godina sa majkom medvjedicom - napisao je Šešelj.
Pčelari sa kojima smo razgovarali prisjećaju se da je medvjed prije dvadesetak godina obitavao na području Orahova Dola.

- Problem je samo ako medvjed počne činiti štetu. To vam je jako teško dokazati. Mora se dokazivati da je štetu učinio medved i da životinja obitava u lovno-gospodarskom području - pojašnjava nam Lopina.
Medvjed ima veliki radijus kretanja i nije mu veliki problem primjerice sa područja Slivna u potrazi za hranom odlutati u dvadesetak kilometara udaljeno Dubrovačko Primorje.
- Divljač ne možete zaustaviti da se kreće u prirodi. Samo da nam ne pravi štetu - kaže Lopina.
Smeđi medvjed (lat. Ursus arctos) najveća je europska zvijer i može težiti i preko 300 kilograma. Može napraviti značajne štete na stoci, voćnjacima i posebno na pčelinjacima, uništavanjem košnica u potrazi za slasnim medom, ukoliko iste nisu odgovarajuće zaštićene.

Hrvatski pčelari na različite način se bore sa medvjedima, a jedan od najučinkovitijih načina je postavljanje električnog pastira oko pčelinjaka. Naime, kad medvjed dođe, opeče ga struja i on bježi dalje.
Medvjedi su brzi trkači i odlični plivači. Prošle godine u ovo doba pelješki školjkari kod Dube Stonske vidjeli su medvjed kako pliva sa kopna na Pelješac. Je li se taj medvjed vratio opet na kopno ili je ovdje riječ o drugoj životinji nitko ne može znati.
Medvjedi su najaktivniji u sumrak, tijekom noći i u zoru, kada kreću u potragu za hranom. Vole vodu i za ljetnih vrućina, kad god mogu, iskoristiti će priliku za kupanje u lokvama, kao dobro im došlo osvježenje.
Kretanje u medvjeđem staništu iziskuje dozu opreza, u smislu da se šumom ne treba kretati pretiho, kako bi se životinji (posebno medvjedici s mladima) dalo dovoljno vremena da vas čuje i da se u miru udalji. Na prisutnost medvjeda u staništu ukazati će tragovi utisnuti u blatnjavi šumski put, a iz kojih se načelno može procijeniti i njegova veličina, mjereći širinu prednje šape.

Osim traga stopala, drugi najčešći trag kojeg medvjed redovno ostavlja vidljivim je izmet, iz kojeg se može vrlo lijepo razaznati čime se medvjed hranio, pojašnjavaju stručnjaci za divlje životinje.
Inače, medvjed je u Hrvatskoj strogo zaštićena vrsta, no istim se gospodari temeljem Plana gospodarenja medvjedom i dopuštene su godišnje odstrelne kvote kojima se iz populacije može izlučiti određen broj jedinki za potrebe lova, bez straha za stabilnost ili opstojnost medvjeđe populacije u budućnosti. Koliko ima medvjeda na jugu, dolini Neretve, Pelješcu, Dubrovačkom Primorju, Konavlima nitko sa sigurnošću ne može znati jer je granica blizu pa se jedan medvjed može evidentirati na dvije lokacije. Svakako njihov odstrel je nedozvoljen i svatko tko ubije ili ozlijedi medvjeda može biti kažnjen novčanom kaznom od 25 tisuća kuna ili kaznom zatvora.

Dubrovačkim Primorjem luta medvjed. Posjetio je dva pčelara, rušio im košnice i tražio med. Potvrdu ove informacije potražili smo na licu mjesta u Dubrovačkom Primorju kako bi se uvjerili je li medvjed dirao košnice ili je to bila neka druga divlja zvijer.

Ivo Lopina iz tamošnjeg pčelarskog društva nema dvojbe. Pojavio se medvjed. Dvojica pčelara prošlih su dana imali neželjenog gosta. Prevrnuo je košnice i pojeo med na dvije lokacije kod Banića i na Rudinama. Isprevrtao je petnaestak košnica, a po tragovima koje je ostavio lako se dade zaključiti da je riječ medvjed, premda ga nisu izravno vidjeli.
Medvjed se i do sada pojavljivao na ovim prostorima, prošle godine je snimljen kako pliva na Pelješac, a Denis Šešelj na svom Facebook profilu je objavio da je medvjed nedavno viđen na predjelu Slivna.
Na području naše općine, brdski dio Slivno-Glavice-Zavala luta mladi mužjak medvjeda očito jedan od onih troje mladunaca koji su zatečeni prije par godina sa majkom medvjedicom - napisao je Šešelj.
Pčelari sa kojima smo razgovarali prisjećaju se da je medvjed prije dvadesetak godina obitavao na području Orahova Dola.

- Problem je samo ako medvjed počne činiti štetu. To vam je jako teško dokazati. Mora se dokazivati da je štetu učinio medved i da životinja obitava u lovno-gospodarskom području - pojašnjava nam Lopina.
Medvjed ima veliki radijus kretanja i nije mu veliki problem primjerice sa područja Slivna u potrazi za hranom odlutati u dvadesetak kilometara udaljeno Dubrovačko Primorje.
- Divljač ne možete zaustaviti da se kreće u prirodi. Samo da nam ne pravi štetu - kaže Lopina.
Smeđi medvjed (lat. Ursus arctos) najveća je europska zvijer i može težiti i preko 300 kilograma. Može napraviti značajne štete na stoci, voćnjacima i posebno na pčelinjacima, uništavanjem košnica u potrazi za slasnim medom, ukoliko iste nisu odgovarajuće zaštićene.

Hrvatski pčelari na različite način se bore sa medvjedima, a jedan od najučinkovitijih načina je postavljanje električnog pastira oko pčelinjaka. Naime, kad medvjed dođe, opeče ga struja i on bježi dalje.
Medvjedi su brzi trkači i odlični plivači. Prošle godine u ovo doba pelješki školjkari kod Dube Stonske vidjeli su medvjed kako pliva sa kopna na Pelješac. Je li se taj medvjed vratio opet na kopno ili je ovdje riječ o drugoj životinji nitko ne može znati.
Medvjedi su najaktivniji u sumrak, tijekom noći i u zoru, kada kreću u potragu za hranom. Vole vodu i za ljetnih vrućina, kad god mogu, iskoristiti će priliku za kupanje u lokvama, kao dobro im došlo osvježenje.
Kretanje u medvjeđem staništu iziskuje dozu opreza, u smislu da se šumom ne treba kretati pretiho, kako bi se životinji (posebno medvjedici s mladima) dalo dovoljno vremena da vas čuje i da se u miru udalji. Na prisutnost medvjeda u staništu ukazati će tragovi utisnuti u blatnjavi šumski put, a iz kojih se načelno može procijeniti i njegova veličina, mjereći širinu prednje šape.

Osim traga stopala, drugi najčešći trag kojeg medvjed redovno ostavlja vidljivim je izmet, iz kojeg se može vrlo lijepo razaznati čime se medvjed hranio, pojašnjavaju stručnjaci za divlje životinje.
Inače, medvjed je u Hrvatskoj strogo zaštićena vrsta, no istim se gospodari temeljem Plana gospodarenja medvjedom i dopuštene su godišnje odstrelne kvote kojima se iz populacije može izlučiti određen broj jedinki za potrebe lova, bez straha za stabilnost ili opstojnost medvjeđe populacije u budućnosti. Koliko ima medvjeda na jugu, dolini Neretve, Pelješcu, Dubrovačkom Primorju, Konavlima nitko sa sigurnošću ne može znati jer je granica blizu pa se jedan medvjed može evidentirati na dvije lokacije. Svakako njihov odstrel je nedozvoljen i svatko tko ubije ili ozlijedi medvjeda može biti kažnjen novčanom kaznom od 25 tisuća kuna ili kaznom zatvora.
