Na zapadnom ulazu u Makarsku nalazi se Svetište Gospe Lurdske - Vepric u koje kroz cijelu godinu, a osobito uoči Male Gospe i na sam blagdan pohrli veliki broj hodočasnika iz Hrvatske i Bosne i Hercegovine te s otoka kako bi se pomolili Majci Božjoj i iznijeli svoje prošnje i zahvale.

Uoči ovogodišnje proslave Male Gospe Svetište je dobilo neke nove važne sadržaje: most za hodočasnike, oslikanu blagovaonu i mozaik na zadnjoj postaji križnoga puta.

„O mostu smo započeli razmišljati zbog problema koje smo imali prigodom dolaska velikog broja hodočasnika, osobito ljeti, kad oni idu dalje za Međugorje. Parkirali bi autobuse na našem parkingu i prelazili cestu preko magistrale. Ponekad su se događale prometne nezgode, pješake su udarala auta dok su prelazili magistralu. Policija je sve to bilježila. Osim toga, kad bi hodočasnici prilazili cestu zaustavljao bi se promet te bi se stvarale gužve“, kazao je don Mijo Šurlin za TV emisiju Radosna vijest.

Da ne bi netko poginuo na toj cesti Prometna policija Splitsko-dalmatinske županije pokrenula je inicijativu kojoj su se pridružili Vepričko svetište, Splitsko-makarska nadbiskupija, Grad Makarska i Hrvatske ceste.

„Korona je usporila izgradnju mosta. Radovi su započeli u svibnju ove godine, a dovršeni su prije nekoliko dana. Ove godine hodočasnici za Malu Gospu neće trebati uz pratnju Policije i redara prelaziti cestu i zaustavljati promet, nego će se prijelaz odvijati preko mosta“, ističe upravitelj Svetišta.

"Hodočasnički most još uvijek nema ime. Most se sastoji od dvaju potpornja izgrađenih od betona, koji su potom obloženi u kamen. Na njih je postavljena metalna konstrukcija dugačka oko 25 metara, a u komadu je napravljena u Zagrebu i s velikim tegljačem prevezena u Vepric. Postavljena je i montirana u ponoćnim satima tijekom jedne večeri, a promet je bio zaustavljen samo pola sata. Sa strane Svetišta je sagrađen lift jer nije bilo moguće za starije osobe i invalide napraviti rampu sa potrebnim nagibom. S druge strane napravljena je rampa s nekoliko lomova da se dođe s platoa do razine mosta te tamo nije bio potreban lift", objašnjava don Mijo.

Na uočnicu blagdana Male Gospe u utorak, 7. rujna brojni će vjernici i ove godine iz svih krajeva Splitsko-makarske nadbiskupije, s otôka i iz Bosne i Hercegovine hodočastiti u marijansko svetište Vepric na misno slavlje u 17.30 sati koje će predvoditi splitsko-makarski nadbiskup koadjutor mons. Dražen Kutleša. Misi će prethoditi križni put u 15.30 i molitva krunice u 16.30 sati. Toga su dana u svetištu mise još u 7, 9 i 11 sati i prigoda za sakrament pomirenja. Na sam blagdan Male Gospe, u subotu 8. rujna, jutarnje mise su u 7, 9 i 11 sati, a popodnevno je svečano bogoslužje u 18 sati. Misi prethodi molitva krunice.

Na zapadnom ulazu u Makarsku nalazi se Svetište Gospe Lurdske - Vepric u koje kroz cijelu godinu, a osobito uoči Male Gospe i na sam blagdan pohrli veliki broj hodočasnika iz Hrvatske i Bosne i Hercegovine te s otoka kako bi se pomolili Majci Božjoj i iznijeli svoje prošnje i zahvale.

Uoči ovogodišnje proslave Male Gospe Svetište je dobilo neke nove važne sadržaje: most za hodočasnike, oslikanu blagovaonu i mozaik na zadnjoj postaji križnoga puta.

„O mostu smo započeli razmišljati zbog problema koje smo imali prigodom dolaska velikog broja hodočasnika, osobito ljeti, kad oni idu dalje za Međugorje. Parkirali bi autobuse na našem parkingu i prelazili cestu preko magistrale. Ponekad su se događale prometne nezgode, pješake su udarala auta dok su prelazili magistralu. Policija je sve to bilježila. Osim toga, kad bi hodočasnici prilazili cestu zaustavljao bi se promet te bi se stvarale gužve“, kazao je don Mijo Šurlin za TV emisiju Radosna vijest.

Da ne bi netko poginuo na toj cesti Prometna policija Splitsko-dalmatinske županije pokrenula je inicijativu kojoj su se pridružili Vepričko svetište, Splitsko-makarska nadbiskupija, Grad Makarska i Hrvatske ceste.

„Korona je usporila izgradnju mosta. Radovi su započeli u svibnju ove godine, a dovršeni su prije nekoliko dana. Ove godine hodočasnici za Malu Gospu neće trebati uz pratnju Policije i redara prelaziti cestu i zaustavljati promet, nego će se prijelaz odvijati preko mosta“, ističe upravitelj Svetišta.

"Hodočasnički most još uvijek nema ime. Most se sastoji od dvaju potpornja izgrađenih od betona, koji su potom obloženi u kamen. Na njih je postavljena metalna konstrukcija dugačka oko 25 metara, a u komadu je napravljena u Zagrebu i s velikim tegljačem prevezena u Vepric. Postavljena je i montirana u ponoćnim satima tijekom jedne večeri, a promet je bio zaustavljen samo pola sata. Sa strane Svetišta je sagrađen lift jer nije bilo moguće za starije osobe i invalide napraviti rampu sa potrebnim nagibom. S druge strane napravljena je rampa s nekoliko lomova da se dođe s platoa do razine mosta te tamo nije bio potreban lift", objašnjava don Mijo.

Na uočnicu blagdana Male Gospe u utorak, 7. rujna brojni će vjernici i ove godine iz svih krajeva Splitsko-makarske nadbiskupije, s otôka i iz Bosne i Hercegovine hodočastiti u marijansko svetište Vepric na misno slavlje u 17.30 sati koje će predvoditi splitsko-makarski nadbiskup koadjutor mons. Dražen Kutleša. Misi će prethoditi križni put u 15.30 i molitva krunice u 16.30 sati. Toga su dana u svetištu mise još u 7, 9 i 11 sati i prigoda za sakrament pomirenja. Na sam blagdan Male Gospe, u subotu 8. rujna, jutarnje mise su u 7, 9 i 11 sati, a popodnevno je svečano bogoslužje u 18 sati. Misi prethodi molitva krunice.

Na zapadnom ulazu u Makarsku nalazi se Svetište Gospe Lurdske - Vepric u koje kroz cijelu godinu, a osobito uoči Male Gospe i na sam blagdan pohrli veliki broj hodočasnika iz Hrvatske i Bosne i Hercegovine te s otoka kako bi se pomolili Majci Božjoj i iznijeli svoje prošnje i zahvale.
