Sedmu godinu za redom, u periodu od petka do nedjelje na području između Kaštela i Makarske održat će se Dalmacija Ultra Trail, međunarodna manifestacija koja svake godine u Dalmaciju dovede elitne trail trkače koji će se okušati u jednoj od tri utrke.

Mountain DUT, duga je 122 kilometra i starta iz Amfiteatra antičke Salone, obilazi najzanimljivije prirodne i povijesne znamenitosti i prelazi preko četiri planine. Natjecatelji koji se odluče za 56 kilometara dugu Sea DUT utrku, sa startom iz Makarske mogu cijelo vrijeme uživati u pogledu na more. Osamnaest kilometara duga Ethno DUT utrka kreće iz Dugog Rata prelazi preko Primorske Kose i obilazi stara napuštena sela zaleđa.

Sve utrke završavaju na omiškoj plaži, gdje se u nedjelju održava dječja utrka čiji će početak označiti Omiški gusari pucnjem iz kubure. Broj malih natjecatelja je limitiran na 200 trkača do 12 godina, pa se pozivaju roditelji da prijave svoju djecu i pridruže se pobjednicima na proglašenju najboljega u nedjelju.

- Za organizaciju ovako zahtjevne utrke potreban je cjelogodišnji angažman, sati rada i pomoć cijele zajednice, tako da je u priču uključeno preko 200 volontera, većinom članova lokalnih planinarskih društava, ali i stranaca.

Volonteri su ono što čini ovu utrku uspješnom, zapravo bez njih ovakva utrka se ne bi mogla ni održati. Potrebno je očistiti i tijekom godine održavati kilometre staza, pred utrku označiti ih, a odmah nakon utrke, već nakon zadnjeg natjecatelja skinuti sve oznake - rekla nam je Anamaria Marović iz organizacije Dalmacija Ultra Traila.

- Za ovako duge utrke, koje su izuzetno naporne pogotovo jer svladavaju veliku visinsku razliku potrebno je natjecateljima osigurati i okrepne stanice. Duž staze ih se nalazi 14, a na nekima se dežura u tri smjene. Imamo volontere koji svoj godišnji odmor planiraju prema Dalmacija Ultra Trailu - kaže.

Iako je 2019. na utrkama bilo preko 800 natjecatelja, iz 42 države sa 5 kontinenata, cijela situacija s Covidom ostavila je posljedice na brojnost, tako da se ove godine ipak ne očekuje prevelik broj natjecatelja, no svakako, u Omiš stižu neka ‘jaka‘ imena traila.

Iako je limit za završiti najdužu utrku za 32 sata, najbržeg natjecatelja u cilju se očekuje za malo više od 14 sati.

Cilj ove manifestacije, osim samog natjecanja, jest predstaviti Dalmaciju kao poželjnu outdoor destinaciju, a namjere organizatora prepoznala je i Županija i Turistička zajednica Splitsko Dalmatinska i uvrstila u top sportsko turistička događanja.

Sedmu godinu za redom, u periodu od petka do nedjelje na području između Kaštela i Makarske održat će se Dalmacija Ultra Trail, međunarodna manifestacija koja svake godine u Dalmaciju dovede elitne trail trkače koji će se okušati u jednoj od tri utrke.

Mountain DUT, duga je 122 kilometra i starta iz Amfiteatra antičke Salone, obilazi najzanimljivije prirodne i povijesne znamenitosti i prelazi preko četiri planine. Natjecatelji koji se odluče za 56 kilometara dugu Sea DUT utrku, sa startom iz Makarske mogu cijelo vrijeme uživati u pogledu na more. Osamnaest kilometara duga Ethno DUT utrka kreće iz Dugog Rata prelazi preko Primorske Kose i obilazi stara napuštena sela zaleđa.

Sve utrke završavaju na omiškoj plaži, gdje se u nedjelju održava dječja utrka čiji će početak označiti Omiški gusari pucnjem iz kubure. Broj malih natjecatelja je limitiran na 200 trkača do 12 godina, pa se pozivaju roditelji da prijave svoju djecu i pridruže se pobjednicima na proglašenju najboljega u nedjelju.

- Za organizaciju ovako zahtjevne utrke potreban je cjelogodišnji angažman, sati rada i pomoć cijele zajednice, tako da je u priču uključeno preko 200 volontera, većinom članova lokalnih planinarskih društava, ali i stranaca.

Volonteri su ono što čini ovu utrku uspješnom, zapravo bez njih ovakva utrka se ne bi mogla ni održati. Potrebno je očistiti i tijekom godine održavati kilometre staza, pred utrku označiti ih, a odmah nakon utrke, već nakon zadnjeg natjecatelja skinuti sve oznake - rekla nam je Anamaria Marović iz organizacije Dalmacija Ultra Traila.

- Za ovako duge utrke, koje su izuzetno naporne pogotovo jer svladavaju veliku visinsku razliku potrebno je natjecateljima osigurati i okrepne stanice. Duž staze ih se nalazi 14, a na nekima se dežura u tri smjene. Imamo volontere koji svoj godišnji odmor planiraju prema Dalmacija Ultra Trailu - kaže.

Iako je 2019. na utrkama bilo preko 800 natjecatelja, iz 42 države sa 5 kontinenata, cijela situacija s Covidom ostavila je posljedice na brojnost, tako da se ove godine ipak ne očekuje prevelik broj natjecatelja, no svakako, u Omiš stižu neka ‘jaka‘ imena traila.

Iako je limit za završiti najdužu utrku za 32 sata, najbržeg natjecatelja u cilju se očekuje za malo više od 14 sati.

Cilj ove manifestacije, osim samog natjecanja, jest predstaviti Dalmaciju kao poželjnu outdoor destinaciju, a namjere organizatora prepoznala je i Županija i Turistička zajednica Splitsko Dalmatinska i uvrstila u top sportsko turistička događanja.
