Samo dan nakon što je postavio novi nacionalni rekord  u ronjenju na dah u disciplini No limit, zaronivši na 101 metar dubine i tako postao prvi Hrvat koji  je prešao dubinu od 100 metara, 23-godišnji Veljano Zanki  je roneći na dah s puškom na dubini od 22 metra u komiškom akvatoriju ulovio gofa dugog  1,65 metara i teškog 40 kilograma.

Zanki nam je rekao da je gofa ulovio na tajnoj pošti, na jednoj od sika prema otoku Sv. Andrija (Svetac),te da je to za sada najveća riba koju je ulovio.
Otkrio nam je i da je usput ulovio i zubaca od 3,5 kilograma. Zanimljivo je da je istog dana njegov stariji kolega, Siniša Ižaković, vlasnik komiškog ronilačkog centra ISSA DIVING CENTER također ulovio gofa, teškog «samo» 35 kilograma, pa je tako učenik nadmašio učitelja.

Inače, lov puškom na dah zahtijeva vrhunsku tehniku i umijeće, zaron traje od 2,5-3 minute, za to vrijeme  ronilac legne na dno i čeka da se riba pojavi.
Doznajemo da je gof kapitalac završio  kod Zankijeve mame Vesne u hladnjaku do skorašnje fešte  koju Veljano priprema za svoje prijatelje koji su mu pomogli kod obaranja nacionalnih rekorda u ronjenju na dah.

Samo dan nakon što je postavio novi nacionalni rekord  u ronjenju na dah u disciplini No limit, zaronivši na 101 metar dubine i tako postao prvi Hrvat koji  je prešao dubinu od 100 metara, 23-godišnji Veljano Zanki  je roneći na dah s puškom na dubini od 22 metra u komiškom akvatoriju ulovio gofa dugog  1,65 metara i teškog 40 kilograma.

Zanki nam je rekao da je gofa ulovio na tajnoj pošti, na jednoj od sika prema otoku Sv. Andrija (Svetac),te da je to za sada najveća riba koju je ulovio.
Otkrio nam je i da je usput ulovio i zubaca od 3,5 kilograma. Zanimljivo je da je istog dana njegov stariji kolega, Siniša Ižaković, vlasnik komiškog ronilačkog centra ISSA DIVING CENTER također ulovio gofa, teškog «samo» 35 kilograma, pa je tako učenik nadmašio učitelja.

Inače, lov puškom na dah zahtijeva vrhunsku tehniku i umijeće, zaron traje od 2,5-3 minute, za to vrijeme  ronilac legne na dno i čeka da se riba pojavi.
Doznajemo da je gof kapitalac završio  kod Zankijeve mame Vesne u hladnjaku do skorašnje fešte  koju Veljano priprema za svoje prijatelje koji su mu pomogli kod obaranja nacionalnih rekorda u ronjenju na dah.
