Ono što je Jugoslavenima nekada bio Trst, danas je građanima koji žive u bivšim SFRJ republikama - Palmanova. Ne; ne ide se više zbog rebatinki, "spitfajerice" ili "briškulica" preko granice, dolaskom velikih trgovačkih lanaca u naše dvorište potrošačke su se potrebe stubokom izmijenile, ali je gušt kupnje u Italiji ostao, donosi Slobodna Dalmacija.

Naročito je to izraženo u vrijeme sezonskih rasprodaja u siječnju, kad su na parkiralištima u poslovnoj zoni Palmanove i Villeseu mahom automobili s hrvatskim, slovenskim, bosanskohercegovačkim i srpskim registarskim oznakama.

Bude ih toliko da znaju podsjećati na vrijeme kad je Trst bio istinska trgovačka meka za kupce s istočne strane Jadrana i najbolji pogled u ako ne bolji, a onda šareniji i bogatiji kapitalistički svijet.

I premda se sva ta "roba" danas manje-više nudi i ovdje, jer se radi o istim trgovačkim markama, u Italiji je znatno jeftinija i dostupnija prosječnom konzumentu s Balkana, a i izbor je kudikamo veći. Nerijetko se zato odsjeda u Palmanovi, da bi se na miru pazarilo cijeli dan i baš kao onomad - dovlačilo koješta u gepeku. Ne sumnjamo da će se ulaskom Hrvatske u tzv. schengenski prostor, kad se policijske i carinske brklje koje nas dijele od drugih država EU-a podignu, broj kupaca koji odlaze u Italiju u šoping i povećati, ali isto tako i talijanskih će turista na našoj obali biti više negoli ih je sada.

U međuvremenu, Ponte Rosso u Trstu danas je tek jedan prosječan trg, a umjesto trgovine tekstilom, Trieštini su se okrenuli drugim načinima zarade, pa dućane mahom prepustili Kinezima. Trst je danas snažan sveučilišni centar, a Hrvati i Srbi koji u njemu borave posljednjih godina nisu samo studenti. Mnogi su, naime, vezani uz posao u brodogradilištu u Monfalconeu, jer za razliku od naših škverova, taj još radi punom parom. Najviše je radnika iz nekadašnjeg pulskog "Uljanika".

U svakom slučaju, u Trst se više ne odlazi tako masovno da bi se "nabacila" zimska ili ljetna garderoba, ali svakako ga nismo zaboravili. Za to vrijeme Palmanova doslovno živi od naših ljudi koji tu i dalje ostavljaju veliki novac. Tko ne vjeruje, neka se uputi preko državne međe "put Venecije"; vidjet će naše šopingholičare na sve strane.

Ono što je Jugoslavenima nekada bio Trst, danas je građanima koji žive u bivšim SFRJ republikama - Palmanova. Ne; ne ide se više zbog rebatinki, "spitfajerice" ili "briškulica" preko granice, dolaskom velikih trgovačkih lanaca u naše dvorište potrošačke su se potrebe stubokom izmijenile, ali je gušt kupnje u Italiji ostao, donosi Slobodna Dalmacija.

Naročito je to izraženo u vrijeme sezonskih rasprodaja u siječnju, kad su na parkiralištima u poslovnoj zoni Palmanove i Villeseu mahom automobili s hrvatskim, slovenskim, bosanskohercegovačkim i srpskim registarskim oznakama.

Bude ih toliko da znaju podsjećati na vrijeme kad je Trst bio istinska trgovačka meka za kupce s istočne strane Jadrana i najbolji pogled u ako ne bolji, a onda šareniji i bogatiji kapitalistički svijet.

I premda se sva ta "roba" danas manje-više nudi i ovdje, jer se radi o istim trgovačkim markama, u Italiji je znatno jeftinija i dostupnija prosječnom konzumentu s Balkana, a i izbor je kudikamo veći. Nerijetko se zato odsjeda u Palmanovi, da bi se na miru pazarilo cijeli dan i baš kao onomad - dovlačilo koješta u gepeku. Ne sumnjamo da će se ulaskom Hrvatske u tzv. schengenski prostor, kad se policijske i carinske brklje koje nas dijele od drugih država EU-a podignu, broj kupaca koji odlaze u Italiju u šoping i povećati, ali isto tako i talijanskih će turista na našoj obali biti više negoli ih je sada.

U međuvremenu, Ponte Rosso u Trstu danas je tek jedan prosječan trg, a umjesto trgovine tekstilom, Trieštini su se okrenuli drugim načinima zarade, pa dućane mahom prepustili Kinezima. Trst je danas snažan sveučilišni centar, a Hrvati i Srbi koji u njemu borave posljednjih godina nisu samo studenti. Mnogi su, naime, vezani uz posao u brodogradilištu u Monfalconeu, jer za razliku od naših škverova, taj još radi punom parom. Najviše je radnika iz nekadašnjeg pulskog "Uljanika".

U svakom slučaju, u Trst se više ne odlazi tako masovno da bi se "nabacila" zimska ili ljetna garderoba, ali svakako ga nismo zaboravili. Za to vrijeme Palmanova doslovno živi od naših ljudi koji tu i dalje ostavljaju veliki novac. Tko ne vjeruje, neka se uputi preko državne međe "put Venecije"; vidjet će naše šopingholičare na sve strane.
