Kakav kraj sezone! Žarko Knego je na pobjedničkom postolju natjecanja TCR Istočna Europe. Sanjao je ovaj trenutak nekoliko godina, zbog njega se i upustio u avanturu, borio sa svojom malom ekipom protiv bogatije konkurencije. I nije odustao jer je osjećao kako mu unatoč svemu malo nedostaje za trenutak, koji je danas dočekao na Autodromu Brno.

Treći je u posljednjoj utrci sezone, i jučer, prvog dana zadnjeg vikenda je osvojio bodove, prethodni vikend sezone je također uzeo u obje utrke nove bodove.

I kad je danas prošao ciljem, kad se ispisalo 10. rujna 2023. godine pisalo – Žarko Knego treći – slijevale su se poruke sreće njegovih prijatelja iz Auto kluba Dubrovnik Racing. I ne samo njih. Svi oduševljeni njegovim povijesnim uspjehom!

ZADNJI KRUG

Doprvak Rene Kircher iz Njemačke je bio prvi u zadnjoj utrci sezone, Čeh Adam Kout je drugim mjestom uspio u zadnji tren dohvatiti treće mjesto u ukupnom poretku sezone. S postolja sezone je otpao Gruzijac Davit Kajma.

I onda u zadnjoj utrci sezone, iza Kirchera i Kouta ciljem je projurio Žarko Knego. Njegov najveći uspjeh. U tom zanjem krugu iza njegovih leđa ostao je između ostalih i ovogodišnji prvak, Slovak Mat‘o Homola, koji je bio osmi.

Žarko Knego je ove sezone napravio nešto što se rijetko događa. Mijenjao je auto usred sezone, riskirao, isticao kako je svaka stotinka sekunde važna, kako sa starim ‘bolidom’ to ne može...

I opet su mnogi slijegali ramenima, klimali glavom, govorili kako je to bacanje novaca.

Možda bi drugi odustali. Knego nije. Srećom nije!

Sanjao je ovaj trenutak nekoliko godina, zbog njega se i upustio u avanturu, borio sa svojom malom ekipom protiv bogatije konkurencije. I nije odustao jer je osjećao kako mu unatoč svemu malo nedostaje za trenutak, koji je danas dočekao na Autodromu Brno.

Treći je u posljednjoj utrci sezone, i jučer, prvog dana zadnjeg vikenda je osvojio bodove, prethodni vikend sezone je također uzeo u obje utrke nove bodove.

I kad je danas prošao ciljem, kad se ispisalo 10. rujna 2023. godine pisalo – Žarko Knego treći – slijevale su se poruke sreće njegovih prijatelja iz Auto kluba Dubrovnik Racing. I ne samo njih. Svi oduševljeni njegovim povijesnim uspjehom!

ZADNJI KRUG

Doprvak Rene Kircher iz Njemačke je bio prvi u zadnjoj utrci sezone, Čeh Adam Kout je drugim mjestom uspio u zadnji tren dohvatiti treće mjesto u ukupnom poretku sezone. S postolja sezone je otpao Gruzijac Davit Kajma.

I onda u zadnjoj utrci sezone, iza Kirchera i Kouta ciljem je projurio Žarko Knego. Njegov najveći uspjeh. U tom zanjem krugu iza njegovih leđa ostao je između ostalih i ovogodišnji prvak, Slovak Mat‘o Homola, koji je bio osmi.

Žarko Knego je ove sezone napravio nešto što se rijetko događa. Mijenjao je auto usred sezone, riskirao, isticao kako je svaka stotinka sekunde važna, kako sa starim ‘bolidom’ to ne može...

I opet su mnogi slijegali ramenima, klimali glavom, govorili kako je to bacanje novaca.

Možda bi drugi odustali. Knego nije. Srećom nije!

Kakav kraj sezone! Žarko Knego je na pobjedničkom postolju natjecanja TCR Istočna Europe. Sanjao je ovaj trenutak nekoliko godina, zbog njega se i upustio u avanturu, borio sa svojom malom ekipom protiv bogatije konkurencije.
