Vratio se Žarko Knego na Slovakia Ring, bio je tu već jednom ove godine, početkom svibnja kad su se vozile treća i četvrta utrka sezone. U obje trke je uzeo bodove. Jedini put ove sezone. Bio je za njega to najbolji vikend, koji je zaključio devetim mjesto u subotnjoj, a sedmim mjestom u nedjeljnoj utrci. Za to je nagrađen s dva odnosno šest bodova. Priželjkivao je i ovaj put, kad su deveta i deseta utrka sezone na istoj stazi, kako će biti dobro.

Bilo je u petak na neslužbenim treninzima, ali ne i u subotnjim kvalifikacijama. 

- Auto mi se nije ponašalo kao u petak, bilo je problema. Išao sam krug sekundu lošije u odnosu na dan prije. Nakon kvalifikacija, a uoči početka bodovne trke sve smo rastavili, otkrili u čemu je problem, jedan šaraf je puknuo. Riješili smo problem - istaknuo je Knego, koji je s jedanaeste pozicije krenuo u subotnju trku, s prve Čeh Michal Makeš, koji je najbolje odvozio trening.

Svega je bilo već na startu, Makeš je loše krenuo, nije jedini koji je imao problema. Čeh Tomas Pekar, vodeći u ukupnom poretku je otpao, a nakon više od 25 minuta na stazi, bilo je svega, nema tko ne ističe - odlična utrka, super zanimljiva, Knego šesti. Malo je nedostajalo za peto mjesto. Sanel Čehić je imao tek 7 desetinki sekunde bolje ukupno vrijeme u odnosu na člana Dubrovnik Racinga.

- Probijao sam se od početka, na kraju šesti, blizu petog. Zadovoljan sam - istaknuo je četverostruki državni prvak, koji se prije tri godine odlučio okušati u jačoj konkurenciji. 

Knego je i ovako, osvajanjem šestog mjesta, ostvario najbolji plasman sezone. Novih 8 bodova je na njegovom kontu. Ukupno 18. Sad se okreće nedjeljnoj utrci, desetoj ove sezone od ukupno dvanaest. Kako bi bilo, nema sumnje da razmišlja, ostvariti još bolji rezultat.

- Prve sezone sam na Hungaroringu bio četvrti - podsjetio je na svoj najbolji plasman u TCR Eastern Europe. Ukoliko bi to uspio u nedjelju, bio bi u TOP 10 ukupnog poretka.

Litvanac Jonas Karklys je pobijedio, bez greške od početka. Drugi je sa šest sekundi zaostatka bio Poljak Bartosz Groszek. Nijemac Carol Wittke je treći, Makeš se uspio probiti do četvrtog mjesta. Potom Čehić, koji vozi pod njemačkom zastavom, pa Knego, koji je sedmom Čehu Radimu Adameku pobjegao za gotovo tri sekunde, osmom Petru Čižeku, također Čehu, za gotovo 13 sekundi...

Nedjeljna utrka, deseta ove sezone, zakazana je u 12.35 sati.

Vratio se Žarko Knego na Slovakia Ring, bio je tu već jednom ove godine, početkom svibnja kad su se vozile treća i četvrta utrka sezone. U obje trke je uzeo bodove. Jedini put ove sezone. Bio je za njega to najbolji vikend, koji je zaključio devetim mjesto u subotnjoj, a sedmim mjestom u nedjeljnoj utrci. Za to je nagrađen s dva odnosno šest bodova. Priželjkivao je i ovaj put, kad su deveta i deseta utrka sezone na istoj stazi, kako će biti dobro.

Bilo je u petak na neslužbenim treninzima, ali ne i u subotnjim kvalifikacijama. 

- Auto mi se nije ponašalo kao u petak, bilo je problema. Išao sam krug sekundu lošije u odnosu na dan prije. Nakon kvalifikacija, a uoči početka bodovne trke sve smo rastavili, otkrili u čemu je problem, jedan šaraf je puknuo. Riješili smo problem - istaknuo je Knego, koji je s jedanaeste pozicije krenuo u subotnju trku, s prve Čeh Michal Makeš, koji je najbolje odvozio trening.

Svega je bilo već na startu, Makeš je loše krenuo, nije jedini koji je imao problema. Čeh Tomas Pekar, vodeći u ukupnom poretku je otpao, a nakon više od 25 minuta na stazi, bilo je svega, nema tko ne ističe - odlična utrka, super zanimljiva, Knego šesti. Malo je nedostajalo za peto mjesto. Sanel Čehić je imao tek 7 desetinki sekunde bolje ukupno vrijeme u odnosu na člana Dubrovnik Racinga.

- Probijao sam se od početka, na kraju šesti, blizu petog. Zadovoljan sam - istaknuo je četverostruki državni prvak, koji se prije tri godine odlučio okušati u jačoj konkurenciji. 

Knego je i ovako, osvajanjem šestog mjesta, ostvario najbolji plasman sezone. Novih 8 bodova je na njegovom kontu. Ukupno 18. Sad se okreće nedjeljnoj utrci, desetoj ove sezone od ukupno dvanaest. Kako bi bilo, nema sumnje da razmišlja, ostvariti još bolji rezultat.

- Prve sezone sam na Hungaroringu bio četvrti - podsjetio je na svoj najbolji plasman u TCR Eastern Europe. Ukoliko bi to uspio u nedjelju, bio bi u TOP 10 ukupnog poretka.

Litvanac Jonas Karklys je pobijedio, bez greške od početka. Drugi je sa šest sekundi zaostatka bio Poljak Bartosz Groszek. Nijemac Carol Wittke je treći, Makeš se uspio probiti do četvrtog mjesta. Potom Čehić, koji vozi pod njemačkom zastavom, pa Knego, koji je sedmom Čehu Radimu Adameku pobjegao za gotovo tri sekunde, osmom Petru Čižeku, također Čehu, za gotovo 13 sekundi...

Nedjeljna utrka, deseta ove sezone, zakazana je u 12.35 sati.
