[fulltext] => Američke zdravstvene vlasti, transportne tvrtke i bolnice spremne su u subotu hitno početi kampanju masovnog cijepljenja bez presedana, pošto su savezni regulatori odobrili prvo cjepivo protiv covida-19 u Sjedinjenim Državama.
Pripreme za cijepljenje provode se u zadnji tren dok se broj žrtava pandemije koronavirusa u SAD-u približava 300.000, a zbog broja zaraženih i hospitalizacija koji zlokobno raste u proteklih nekoliko tjedana, zdravstveni sustavi su već preopterećeni.
U četvrtak su zabilježena još 2902 smrtna slučaja u SAD-u, dan nakon rekordnih 3253, a predviđa se da će se taj tempo nastaviti tijekom sljedeća dva do tri mjeseca, čak i kad se povećava distribucija dostupnih zaliha cjepiva, piše

Očekuje se da će se prve injekcije primijeniti za nekoliko dana. Cijepljenje se smatra ključnim u konačnom uništavanju pandemije koja je otežala svakodnevicu u Sjedinjenim Državama i uništila njezino gospodarstvo.
Američka savezna agencija za lijekove i hranu (FDA) objavila je u petak da je odobrila korištenje Pfizerova cjepiva protiv covida-19, što bi trebalo značiti prekretnicu u SAD-u gdje je pandemija konoravirusa već odnijela više od 295.000 života.
Dostavne tvrtke United Parcel Service i FedEx Corp spremne su otpremiti milijune doza širom zemlje, dajući cjepivima najveći prioritet u odnosu na ostale pakete u njihovim avionima i kamionima.
Planirano je da policija osigurava pošiljke cjepiva od proizvodnih pogona do mjesta distribucije te da bude pratnja dostavnim kamionima.
FDA je izdao hitnu dozvolu za upotrebu cjepiva koje je Pfizer razvio s njemačkim partnerom BioNTechom i koje je pokazalo 95-postotnu učinkovitost u prevenciji covida.
Velika Britanija, Bahrein, Kanada, Saudijska Arabija i Meksiko već su odobrili Pfizerovo cjepivo, a američki savjetodavni odbor trebao bi sljedeći tjedan razmotriti odobravanje drugog cjepivo tvrtke Moderna Inc.

Agencija je objavila da se cjepivo može davati osobama u dobi od 16 godina i starijima. Očekuje se da će zdravstveni radnici i starije osobe u ustanovama za dugotrajnu njegu biti glavni primatelji prve tranše od 2,9 milijuna doza.
"Prvo cijepljenje obavit će se u manje od 24 sata. Ponosan sam što mogu reći da smo osigurali besplatno cjepivo za sve Amerikance", izjavio je američki predsjednik Donald Trump u videu objavljenom na Twitteru.

jutarnji.hr, objavila je da će početi distribuirati cjepivo diljem zemlje odmah nakon odobrenja FDA, a da će prva cijepljenja početi početkom idućega tjedna.
Milijuni Amerikanaca moglo bi se cijepiti već u prosincu, posebice ako bude ubrzo bude odobreno i Modernino cjepivo.
Pfizerovo cjepivo prvo je odobreno u Britaniji ranije ovoga mjeseca, a Britanci su se počeli cijepiti u utorak.
Kanada je također odobrila korištenje tog cjepiva te se očekuje početak cijepljenja idućega tjedna. I Meksiko i Bahrein također su odobrili upotrebu tog cjepiva.

[text] => {OCMSplitter}Američke zdravstvene vlasti, transportne tvrtke i bolnice spremne su u subotu hitno početi kampanju masovnog cijepljenja bez presedana, pošto su savezni regulatori odobrili prvo cjepivo protiv covida-19 u Sjedinjenim Državama.
Pripreme za cijepljenje provode se u zadnji tren dok se broj žrtava pandemije koronavirusa u SAD-u približava 300.000, a zbog broja zaraženih i hospitalizacija koji zlokobno raste u proteklih nekoliko tjedana, zdravstveni sustavi su već preopterećeni.
U četvrtak su zabilježena još 2902 smrtna slučaja u SAD-u, dan nakon rekordnih 3253, a predviđa se da će se taj tempo nastaviti tijekom sljedeća dva do tri mjeseca, čak i kad se povećava distribucija dostupnih zaliha cjepiva, piše

Očekuje se da će se prve injekcije primijeniti za nekoliko dana. Cijepljenje se smatra ključnim u konačnom uništavanju pandemije koja je otežala svakodnevicu u Sjedinjenim Državama i uništila njezino gospodarstvo.
Američka savezna agencija za lijekove i hranu (FDA) objavila je u petak da je odobrila korištenje Pfizerova cjepiva protiv covida-19, što bi trebalo značiti prekretnicu u SAD-u gdje je pandemija konoravirusa već odnijela više od 295.000 života.
Dostavne tvrtke United Parcel Service i FedEx Corp spremne su otpremiti milijune doza širom zemlje, dajući cjepivima najveći prioritet u odnosu na ostale pakete u njihovim avionima i kamionima.
Planirano je da policija osigurava pošiljke cjepiva od proizvodnih pogona do mjesta distribucije te da bude pratnja dostavnim kamionima.
FDA je izdao hitnu dozvolu za upotrebu cjepiva koje je Pfizer razvio s njemačkim partnerom BioNTechom i koje je pokazalo 95-postotnu učinkovitost u prevenciji covida.
Velika Britanija, Bahrein, Kanada, Saudijska Arabija i Meksiko već su odobrili Pfizerovo cjepivo, a američki savjetodavni odbor trebao bi sljedeći tjedan razmotriti odobravanje drugog cjepivo tvrtke Moderna Inc.

Agencija je objavila da se cjepivo može davati osobama u dobi od 16 godina i starijima. Očekuje se da će zdravstveni radnici i starije osobe u ustanovama za dugotrajnu njegu biti glavni primatelji prve tranše od 2,9 milijuna doza.
"Prvo cijepljenje obavit će se u manje od 24 sata. Ponosan sam što mogu reći da smo osigurali besplatno cjepivo za sve Amerikance", izjavio je američki predsjednik Donald Trump u videu objavljenom na Twitteru.

jutarnji.hr, objavila je da će početi distribuirati cjepivo diljem zemlje odmah nakon odobrenja FDA, a da će prva cijepljenja početi početkom idućega tjedna.
Milijuni Amerikanaca moglo bi se cijepiti već u prosincu, posebice ako bude ubrzo bude odobreno i Modernino cjepivo.
Pfizerovo cjepivo prvo je odobreno u Britaniji ranije ovoga mjeseca, a Britanci su se počeli cijepiti u utorak.
Kanada je također odobrila korištenje tog cjepiva te se očekuje početak cijepljenja idućega tjedna. I Meksiko i Bahrein također su odobrili upotrebu tog cjepiva.
