Brzi antigenski testovi (BAT) za covid-19 sve su pouzdaniji, vrlo su osjetljivi na virus i sve jednostavniji za uporabu pa je za očekivati je da će se sve više koristiti i zamjenjivati PCR testove, najavio je u ponedjeljak ravnatelj HZJZ-a Krunoslav Capak.
PCR testovi ostat će zlatni standard za dijagnostiku svih virusa, pa tako i koronavirus, ali BAT-ovi postaju sve kvalitetniji, njihova je prednost da su brži i jednostavniji, osoba ih sama može samo brzo napraviti i vidjeti je li bolesna, rekao je Capak u razgovoru s novinarima.
Osim toga, sve je više BAT-ova i samotestova kod kojih uzimanje briseva više nije potrebno iz stražnjeg dijela nosa, nazofarinksa, već je za dobar rezultat dovoljno uzeti bris iz prednjeg dijela nosa.
Zbog jednostavnije primjene i neinvazivnosti postupka Hrvatska je za samotestiranje učenika u školama naručila tri milijuna komada BAT-ova za koje se uzorak može uzeti upravo iz prednjeg dijela nosa, a isporuka prve količine očekuje se ovih dana.
"To je jednostavniji postupak. Svatko ga može sam napraviti ili mu to može netko drugi jer su to novi BAT-ovi i samotestovi koji imaju visoku osjetljivost", kazao je.
Europski centar za kontrolu bolesti preporučio je na početku pandemije da se za testiranje na covid-19 ne koristi slina jer se takav bris nije pokazao kvalitetnim, međutim i to se mijenja. Kako testovi bivaju kvalitetniji, pojavili su se i oni kod kojih je moguće virus detektirati iz sline.
Capak je najavio da bi Europska komisija uskoro mogla priznati BAT-ove kod izdavanja covid potvrda, nakon što je Hrvatska više puta ukazivala da je nepravedno ne priznati preboljenje koje je potvrđeno tim testovima.
"U više smo navrata pisali Europskoj komisiji da je nepravedno što su BAT-ovi izuzeti iz postavljanja dijagnoze, odnosno priznavanja preboljenja. Od prije mjesec dana imamo informaciju iz Health Security Committee da smo u anketi među članicama EU-a dobili podršku 18 zemalja pa se ide u priznavanje BAT-a. Nadamo se da će se to dogoditi što prije", kaže Capak.

Brzi antigenski testovi (BAT) za covid-19 sve su pouzdaniji, vrlo su osjetljivi na virus i sve jednostavniji za uporabu pa je za očekivati je da će se sve više koristiti i zamjenjivati PCR testove, najavio je u ponedjeljak ravnatelj HZJZ-a Krunoslav Capak.
PCR testovi ostat će zlatni standard za dijagnostiku svih virusa, pa tako i koronavirus, ali BAT-ovi postaju sve kvalitetniji, njihova je prednost da su brži i jednostavniji, osoba ih sama može samo brzo napraviti i vidjeti je li bolesna, rekao je Capak u razgovoru s novinarima.
Osim toga, sve je više BAT-ova i samotestova kod kojih uzimanje briseva više nije potrebno iz stražnjeg dijela nosa, nazofarinksa, već je za dobar rezultat dovoljno uzeti bris iz prednjeg dijela nosa.
Zbog jednostavnije primjene i neinvazivnosti postupka Hrvatska je za samotestiranje učenika u školama naručila tri milijuna komada BAT-ova za koje se uzorak može uzeti upravo iz prednjeg dijela nosa, a isporuka prve količine očekuje se ovih dana.
"To je jednostavniji postupak. Svatko ga može sam napraviti ili mu to može netko drugi jer su to novi BAT-ovi i samotestovi koji imaju visoku osjetljivost", kazao je.
Europski centar za kontrolu bolesti preporučio je na početku pandemije da se za testiranje na covid-19 ne koristi slina jer se takav bris nije pokazao kvalitetnim, međutim i to se mijenja. Kako testovi bivaju kvalitetniji, pojavili su se i oni kod kojih je moguće virus detektirati iz sline.
Capak je najavio da bi Europska komisija uskoro mogla priznati BAT-ove kod izdavanja covid potvrda, nakon što je Hrvatska više puta ukazivala da je nepravedno ne priznati preboljenje koje je potvrđeno tim testovima.
"U više smo navrata pisali Europskoj komisiji da je nepravedno što su BAT-ovi izuzeti iz postavljanja dijagnoze, odnosno priznavanja preboljenja. Od prije mjesec dana imamo informaciju iz Health Security Committee da smo u anketi među članicama EU-a dobili podršku 18 zemalja pa se ide u priznavanje BAT-a. Nadamo se da će se to dogoditi što prije", kaže Capak.
