Europska medicinska agencija (EMA) u nedjelju je priopćila da bi zemlje trebale izbjegavati cjepivo AstraZenece protiv covida-19 za starije od 60 godina zbog bojazni od rijetke pojave zgrušavanja krvi, piše Hina, a prenosi Jutarnji list.

EMA smatra cjepivo AstraZenece sigurnim za sve dobne skupine, no nekoliko zemlja članica Europske unije ga je prestalo koristiti za mlade ili ga ograničilo na ljude od 50 do 65 godina. 

Tu su odluku zemlje donijele nakon zabilježenih slučajeva stvaranja krvnih ugrušaka kod mlađe populacije.

Voditelj radne skupine EMA-e za covid-19 Marco Cavaleri je kazao da je njihovo stajalište i dalje da, "u kontekstu pandemije, korisnost cjepiva premašuje moguće rizike".

"No, s obzirom da zaraza jenjava i uzimajući u obzir da su mladi manje izloženi rizicima povezanim s covidom-19, smatramo da bi za njih bilo bolje da koriste cjepiva razvijena mRNa tehnologijom, poput Moderne ili Pfizera", rekao je Cavaleri.

Potvrdio je da se ta preporuka odnosi i na starije od 60 godina te da su Francuska i Njemačka, koje imaju na raspolaganju više vrsta cjepiva, odlučile izbjegavati AstraZenecu i za starije od 60 te im radije nude mRNA cjepiva.

Europska medicinska agencija (EMA) u nedjelju je priopćila da bi zemlje trebale izbjegavati cjepivo AstraZenece protiv covida-19 za starije od 60 godina zbog bojazni od rijetke pojave zgrušavanja krvi, piše Hina, a prenosi Jutarnji list.

EMA smatra cjepivo AstraZenece sigurnim za sve dobne skupine, no nekoliko zemlja članica Europske unije ga je prestalo koristiti za mlade ili ga ograničilo na ljude od 50 do 65 godina. 

Tu su odluku zemlje donijele nakon zabilježenih slučajeva stvaranja krvnih ugrušaka kod mlađe populacije.

Voditelj radne skupine EMA-e za covid-19 Marco Cavaleri je kazao da je njihovo stajalište i dalje da, "u kontekstu pandemije, korisnost cjepiva premašuje moguće rizike".

"No, s obzirom da zaraza jenjava i uzimajući u obzir da su mladi manje izloženi rizicima povezanim s covidom-19, smatramo da bi za njih bilo bolje da koriste cjepiva razvijena mRNa tehnologijom, poput Moderne ili Pfizera", rekao je Cavaleri.

Potvrdio je da se ta preporuka odnosi i na starije od 60 godina te da su Francuska i Njemačka, koje imaju na raspolaganju više vrsta cjepiva, odlučile izbjegavati AstraZenecu i za starije od 60 te im radije nude mRNA cjepiva.

EMA: Cjepivo AstraZeneca je sigurno, ali ga ne bi trebalo davati starijima od 60 godina

Europska medicinska agencija (EMA) u nedjelju je priopćila da bi zemlje trebale izbjegavati cjepivo AstraZenece protiv covida-19 za starije od 60 godina zbog bojazni od rijetke pojave zgrušavanja krvi, piše Hina, a prenosi Jutarnji list.

EMA smatra cjepivo AstraZenece sigurnim za sve dobne skupine, no nekoliko zemlja članica Europske unije ga je prestalo koristiti za mlade ili ga ograničilo na ljude od 50 do 65 godina. 

Tu su odluku zemlje donijele nakon zabilježenih slučajeva stvaranja krvnih ugrušaka kod mlađe populacije.

Voditelj radne skupine EMA-e za covid-19 Marco Cavaleri je kazao da je njihovo stajalište i dalje da, "u kontekstu pandemije, korisnost cjepiva premašuje moguće rizike".

"No, s obzirom da zaraza jenjava i uzimajući u obzir da su mladi manje izloženi rizicima povezanim s covidom-19, smatramo da bi za njih bilo bolje da koriste cjepiva razvijena mRNa tehnologijom, poput Moderne ili Pfizera", rekao je Cavaleri.

Potvrdio je da se ta preporuka odnosi i na starije od 60 godina te da su Francuska i Njemačka, koje imaju na raspolaganju više vrsta cjepiva, odlučile izbjegavati AstraZenecu i za starije od 60 te im radije nude mRNA cjepiva.
