Američka infektologinja Monica Gandhi specijalizirana za zarazne bolesti objavila je tablični prikaz rezultata istraživanja učinkovitosti različitih cjepiva protiv COVID 19.
Podaci o učinkovitosti šest vrsta cjepiva, među kojima su Modernino, Pfizer/BioNTechovo, AstraZenecino, Novavaxovo te cjepiva tvrtke Johnson&Johnsona te Sputnik V, pokazuju da nude 100-postotnu zaštitu od hospitalizacije.
U tablici se navodi mehanizam djelovanja pojedinog cjepiva, koliko se doza prima, broj ljudi na kojima je ispitano tijekom kliničkih ispitivanja, učinkovitost zaštite od hospitalizacije i smrti, učinkovitost zaštite od težeg oblika bolesti (ne mora zahtijevati hospitalizaciju) te učinkovitost protiv blažeg oblika bolesti.
Navodi se kako cjepiva učinkovito štite od razvoja teških oblika bolesti. U tom slučaju svi nude 100-postotnu zaštitu osim cjepiva Johnson/Johnson koje nudi 85-postotnu zaštitu, dok za Novavax nema podataka.
Njezinu analizu komentirao je i hrvatski znanstvenik Gordan Lauc.
„U ovoj tablici su pregledno prikazani rezultati kliničkih studija različitih cjepiva. Ukratko, sva cjepiva vrlo učinkovito štite protiv teškog oblika bolesti, što je najvažnije za pojedinca koji se cijepi. Ništa nije 100 posto sigurno, pa tako niti cjepivo. Igla možda nije savršeno sterilna, ili vam sestra neće dobro dezinficirati mjesto uboda pa možete dobiti i nekakvu gadnu infekciju. No, to je rizik sumjerljiv riziku kada se nabodete na nekakav trn u vrtu, ili vas upikne osa ili ugrize mrav. Možda dobijete neugodnu reakciju imunog sustava na cjepivo, no to se s podjednakim rizikom može dogoditi pri infekciji bilo kojim virusom, bakterijom, pa čak i ako nešto pojedete ili udahnete - komentirao je Lauc.
Život je, kaže Lauc, rizik i nikada nećete biti 100 posto sigurni.
„No, svakako je bilo koje cjepivo manji rizik od infekcije živim virusom koji će se u vama umnožiti oko milijardu puta i pri tome će nastati sve moguće mutacije u genomu virusa koje možete zamisliti. Neki od tih virusa će se možda ugraditi u vašu DNA. Polovina našeg genoma su "ožiljci" nastali tijekom milijuna godina rata s virusima. Ako dobijete priliku, cijepite se onim cjepivom koje vam prvo ponude. To je najbolje što možete učiniti za sebe. Ako se bojite, ne morate se cijepiti, no onda riskirate da se zarazite živim SARS-CoV-2. I u tom slučaju ćete najvjerojatnije preživjeti, no rizik je ipak puno veći. Za starije od 75 godina taj rizik uopće nije zanemariv. Ako ste mlađi, no debeli ste, rizik teškog oblika bolesti je isto dosta velik – poručio je Lauc, prenosi Slobodna Dalmacija.

Američka infektologinja Monica Gandhi specijalizirana za zarazne bolesti objavila je tablični prikaz rezultata istraživanja učinkovitosti različitih cjepiva protiv COVID 19.
Podaci o učinkovitosti šest vrsta cjepiva, među kojima su Modernino, Pfizer/BioNTechovo, AstraZenecino, Novavaxovo te cjepiva tvrtke Johnson&Johnsona te Sputnik V, pokazuju da nude 100-postotnu zaštitu od hospitalizacije.
U tablici se navodi mehanizam djelovanja pojedinog cjepiva, koliko se doza prima, broj ljudi na kojima je ispitano tijekom kliničkih ispitivanja, učinkovitost zaštite od hospitalizacije i smrti, učinkovitost zaštite od težeg oblika bolesti (ne mora zahtijevati hospitalizaciju) te učinkovitost protiv blažeg oblika bolesti.
Navodi se kako cjepiva učinkovito štite od razvoja teških oblika bolesti. U tom slučaju svi nude 100-postotnu zaštitu osim cjepiva Johnson/Johnson koje nudi 85-postotnu zaštitu, dok za Novavax nema podataka.
Njezinu analizu komentirao je i hrvatski znanstvenik Gordan Lauc.
„U ovoj tablici su pregledno prikazani rezultati kliničkih studija različitih cjepiva. Ukratko, sva cjepiva vrlo učinkovito štite protiv teškog oblika bolesti, što je najvažnije za pojedinca koji se cijepi. Ništa nije 100 posto sigurno, pa tako niti cjepivo. Igla možda nije savršeno sterilna, ili vam sestra neće dobro dezinficirati mjesto uboda pa možete dobiti i nekakvu gadnu infekciju. No, to je rizik sumjerljiv riziku kada se nabodete na nekakav trn u vrtu, ili vas upikne osa ili ugrize mrav. Možda dobijete neugodnu reakciju imunog sustava na cjepivo, no to se s podjednakim rizikom može dogoditi pri infekciji bilo kojim virusom, bakterijom, pa čak i ako nešto pojedete ili udahnete - komentirao je Lauc.
Život je, kaže Lauc, rizik i nikada nećete biti 100 posto sigurni.
„No, svakako je bilo koje cjepivo manji rizik od infekcije živim virusom koji će se u vama umnožiti oko milijardu puta i pri tome će nastati sve moguće mutacije u genomu virusa koje možete zamisliti. Neki od tih virusa će se možda ugraditi u vašu DNA. Polovina našeg genoma su "ožiljci" nastali tijekom milijuna godina rata s virusima. Ako dobijete priliku, cijepite se onim cjepivom koje vam prvo ponude. To je najbolje što možete učiniti za sebe. Ako se bojite, ne morate se cijepiti, no onda riskirate da se zarazite živim SARS-CoV-2. I u tom slučaju ćete najvjerojatnije preživjeti, no rizik je ipak puno veći. Za starije od 75 godina taj rizik uopće nije zanemariv. Ako ste mlađi, no debeli ste, rizik teškog oblika bolesti je isto dosta velik – poručio je Lauc, prenosi Slobodna Dalmacija.

Liječnica objavila tablicu učinkovitosti najpoznatijih cjepiva, evo kako ‘stoji‘ AstraZeneca

Američka infektologinja Monica Gandhi specijalizirana za zarazne bolesti objavila je tablični prikaz rezultata istraživanja učinkovitosti različitih cjepiva protiv COVID 19.
Podaci o učinkovitosti šest vrsta cjepiva, među kojima su Modernino, Pfizer/BioNTechovo, AstraZenecino, Novavaxovo te cjepiva tvrtke Johnson&Johnsona te Sputnik V, pokazuju da nude 100-postotnu zaštitu od hospitalizacije.
U tablici se navodi mehanizam djelovanja pojedinog cjepiva, koliko se doza prima, broj ljudi na kojima je ispitano tijekom kliničkih ispitivanja, učinkovitost zaštite od hospitalizacije i smrti, učinkovitost zaštite od težeg oblika bolesti (ne mora zahtijevati hospitalizaciju) te učinkovitost protiv blažeg oblika bolesti.
Navodi se kako cjepiva učinkovito štite od razvoja teških oblika bolesti. U tom slučaju svi nude 100-postotnu zaštitu osim cjepiva Johnson/Johnson koje nudi 85-postotnu zaštitu, dok za Novavax nema podataka.
Njezinu analizu komentirao je i hrvatski znanstvenik Gordan Lauc.
„U ovoj tablici su pregledno prikazani rezultati kliničkih studija različitih cjepiva. Ukratko, sva cjepiva vrlo učinkovito štite protiv teškog oblika bolesti, što je najvažnije za pojedinca koji se cijepi. Ništa nije 100 posto sigurno, pa tako niti cjepivo. Igla možda nije savršeno sterilna, ili vam sestra neće dobro dezinficirati mjesto uboda pa možete dobiti i nekakvu gadnu infekciju. No, to je rizik sumjerljiv riziku kada se nabodete na nekakav trn u vrtu, ili vas upikne osa ili ugrize mrav. Možda dobijete neugodnu reakciju imunog sustava na cjepivo, no to se s podjednakim rizikom može dogoditi pri infekciji bilo kojim virusom, bakterijom, pa čak i ako nešto pojedete ili udahnete - komentirao je Lauc.
Život je, kaže Lauc, rizik i nikada nećete biti 100 posto sigurni.
„No, svakako je bilo koje cjepivo manji rizik od infekcije živim virusom koji će se u vama umnožiti oko milijardu puta i pri tome će nastati sve moguće mutacije u genomu virusa koje možete zamisliti. Neki od tih virusa će se možda ugraditi u vašu DNA. Polovina našeg genoma su "ožiljci" nastali tijekom milijuna godina rata s virusima. Ako dobijete priliku, cijepite se onim cjepivom koje vam prvo ponude. To je najbolje što možete učiniti za sebe. Ako se bojite, ne morate se cijepiti, no onda riskirate da se zarazite živim SARS-CoV-2. I u tom slučaju ćete najvjerojatnije preživjeti, no rizik je ipak puno veći. Za starije od 75 godina taj rizik uopće nije zanemariv. Ako ste mlađi, no debeli ste, rizik teškog oblika bolesti je isto dosta velik – poručio je Lauc, prenosi Slobodna Dalmacija.
