Institut Ruđer Bošković (IRB) potvrdio je prisutstvo nove varijante koronavirusa omicron kod jednog pacijenta u Hrvatskoj. Uzorak na prisutnost virusa SARS-CoV-2 1. prosinca prikupila je Poliklinika Medikol u sklopu PCR testiranja.

Iz IRB-a u priopćenju za javnost navode kako je osoba koja je pristupila testiranju izrazila sumnju na mogućnost zaraze novom varijantom koronavirusa omicron, zbog ostvarenog kontakta s osobom iz Južnoafričke Republike. Njenom je privolom uzorak upućen u daljnju obradu u Laboratorij za naprednu genomiku IRB-a pod vodstvom dr. sc. Olivera Vugreka. 

"RT-PCR analiza ukazala je na određena odstupanja u usporedbi s drugim varijantama koronavirusa. Daljnja ciljana analiza sekvenciranjem ključnih regija SARS-CoV-2 genoma dokazala je prisutnost mutacija karakterističnih za novu varijantu SARS-CoV-2 Omicron.

O rezultatima su obaviješteni Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo i Ministarstvo zdravstva te se čeka njihova službena potvrda. Također, napominjemo da je potrebno 72 sata kako bi se dobio konačan rezultat sekvenciranja. Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo će pravovremeno obavijestiti javnost o konačnim rezultatima".

Institut Ruđer Bošković (IRB) potvrdio je prisutstvo nove varijante koronavirusa omicron kod jednog pacijenta u Hrvatskoj. Uzorak na prisutnost virusa SARS-CoV-2 1. prosinca prikupila je Poliklinika Medikol u sklopu PCR testiranja.

Iz IRB-a u priopćenju za javnost navode kako je osoba koja je pristupila testiranju izrazila sumnju na mogućnost zaraze novom varijantom koronavirusa omicron, zbog ostvarenog kontakta s osobom iz Južnoafričke Republike. Njenom je privolom uzorak upućen u daljnju obradu u Laboratorij za naprednu genomiku IRB-a pod vodstvom dr. sc. Olivera Vugreka. 

"RT-PCR analiza ukazala je na određena odstupanja u usporedbi s drugim varijantama koronavirusa. Daljnja ciljana analiza sekvenciranjem ključnih regija SARS-CoV-2 genoma dokazala je prisutnost mutacija karakterističnih za novu varijantu SARS-CoV-2 Omicron.

O rezultatima su obaviješteni Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo i Ministarstvo zdravstva te se čeka njihova službena potvrda. Također, napominjemo da je potrebno 72 sata kako bi se dobio konačan rezultat sekvenciranja. Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo će pravovremeno obavijestiti javnost o konačnim rezultatima".

Potvrđen prvi slučaj omicrona u Hrvatskoj, pacijent bio u kontaktu s osobom iz Južnoafričke Republike

Institut Ruđer Bošković (IRB) potvrdio je prisutstvo nove varijante koronavirusa omicron kod jednog pacijenta u Hrvatskoj. Uzorak na prisutnost virusa SARS-CoV-2 1. prosinca prikupila je Poliklinika Medikol u sklopu PCR testiranja.

Iz IRB-a u priopćenju za javnost navode kako je osoba koja je pristupila testiranju izrazila sumnju na mogućnost zaraze novom varijantom koronavirusa omicron, zbog ostvarenog kontakta s osobom iz Južnoafričke Republike. Njenom je privolom uzorak upućen u daljnju obradu u Laboratorij za naprednu genomiku IRB-a pod vodstvom dr. sc. Olivera Vugreka. 

"RT-PCR analiza ukazala je na određena odstupanja u usporedbi s drugim varijantama koronavirusa. Daljnja ciljana analiza sekvenciranjem ključnih regija SARS-CoV-2 genoma dokazala je prisutnost mutacija karakterističnih za novu varijantu SARS-CoV-2 Omicron.

O rezultatima su obaviješteni Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo i Ministarstvo zdravstva te se čeka njihova službena potvrda. Također, napominjemo da je potrebno 72 sata kako bi se dobio konačan rezultat sekvenciranja. Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo će pravovremeno obavijestiti javnost o konačnim rezultatima".
