Mehanizam djelovanja ovog lijeka je imunomodulacijski, a razvio ga je izraelski ekspert s covid odjela, piše Jutarnji list.
Hoće li izraelski lijek Allocetra biti uspješan u liječenju koronavirusa, i to različitih sojeva, mora potvrditi studija treće faze kliničkih ispitivanja, ali za sada se pokazao kao vrlo uspješan.
Čak 90 posto teških pacijenata oporavilo se nakon liječenja ovim lijekom, prema tvrdnjama tvrtke Biomed Enlivex Therapeutics. Izvijestili su ovog tjedna da su ohrabrujući rezultati ispitivanja lijeka u fazi 2 u liječenju teških bolesnika s koronavirusom.
Od 16 liječenih pacijenata, sedam je bilo u teškom stanju, a devet u kritičnom. Većina je bila u dobi od 40 do 60 godina i svi su pripadali rizičnim skupinama, odnosno bili su pretili, imali su povišeni krvni tlak i većina su bili muškarci, kod kojih je stopa smrtnosti od korone veća, piše Jutarnji.
Njih 14 liječenih Allocetrom oporavilo se i pušteno je kući u roku od pet dana, a dva su pacijenta ostala na respiratoru.
Također, iz tvrtke naglašavaju da nijedan liječeni pacijent nije umro. I u prvoj fazi ispitivanja lijek je bio uspješan jer se od 21 teškog pacijenta oporavilo njih 19.
Imunološki sustav
Mehanizam djelovanja ovog lijeka je imunomodulacijski, a razvijen je na temelju istraživanja profesora Drora Mevoracha s odjela za koronavirus Medicinskog centra u Hadassahu.
'Allocetra je namijenjena liječenju različitih teških slučajeva u kojima postoji prekomjerna aktivnost imunološkog sustava, što dovodi do povećanog lučenja proteina stanica imunološkog sustava - nazvanih citokini - istih onih koje uzrokuju citokinsku oluju.
Djeluje tako što se stanice uzete od zdravog donora u laboratoriju tretiraju na takav način da nakon unošenja u tijelo pacijenta mogu zaustaviti upalu ili citokinsku oluju koja je vrlo štetna za pacijente, uključujući i one koji su oboljeli od koronavirusa', objasnio je prof. Mevorach.
Drugim riječima, Allocetra potiskuje imunološki odgovor i tako vraća ravnotežu organizma. Zato je i namijenjen najtežim bolesnicima čiji je glavni problem u borbi protiv korone činjenica da je njihov imunološki sustav "izvan kontrole".
"Vjerujemo da rezultati ispitivanja, u kombinaciji s konvencionalnim liječenjem, daju jedinstvenu priliku za preživljavanje pacijenata s koronom u teškom i kritičnom stanju kod kojih upravo citokinska oluja uništava organe, što onda postaje pogubno", rekao je Mevorach.
Neki su pacijenti govorili o svojem iskustvu s ovim lijekom i istaknuli da su već dva sata nakon prve doze osjetili značajne promjene u organizmu. Naglašavaju da im se polako počela vraćati snaga iako su kašalj i problemi s disanjem i dalje bili prisutni ali je sveukupno stanje bilo značajno bolje.

Mehanizam djelovanja ovog lijeka je imunomodulacijski, a razvio ga je izraelski ekspert s covid odjela, piše Jutarnji list.
Hoće li izraelski lijek Allocetra biti uspješan u liječenju koronavirusa, i to različitih sojeva, mora potvrditi studija treće faze kliničkih ispitivanja, ali za sada se pokazao kao vrlo uspješan.
Čak 90 posto teških pacijenata oporavilo se nakon liječenja ovim lijekom, prema tvrdnjama tvrtke Biomed Enlivex Therapeutics. Izvijestili su ovog tjedna da su ohrabrujući rezultati ispitivanja lijeka u fazi 2 u liječenju teških bolesnika s koronavirusom.
Od 16 liječenih pacijenata, sedam je bilo u teškom stanju, a devet u kritičnom. Većina je bila u dobi od 40 do 60 godina i svi su pripadali rizičnim skupinama, odnosno bili su pretili, imali su povišeni krvni tlak i većina su bili muškarci, kod kojih je stopa smrtnosti od korone veća, piše Jutarnji.
Njih 14 liječenih Allocetrom oporavilo se i pušteno je kući u roku od pet dana, a dva su pacijenta ostala na respiratoru.
Također, iz tvrtke naglašavaju da nijedan liječeni pacijent nije umro. I u prvoj fazi ispitivanja lijek je bio uspješan jer se od 21 teškog pacijenta oporavilo njih 19.
Imunološki sustav
Mehanizam djelovanja ovog lijeka je imunomodulacijski, a razvijen je na temelju istraživanja profesora Drora Mevoracha s odjela za koronavirus Medicinskog centra u Hadassahu.
'Allocetra je namijenjena liječenju različitih teških slučajeva u kojima postoji prekomjerna aktivnost imunološkog sustava, što dovodi do povećanog lučenja proteina stanica imunološkog sustava - nazvanih citokini - istih onih koje uzrokuju citokinsku oluju.
Djeluje tako što se stanice uzete od zdravog donora u laboratoriju tretiraju na takav način da nakon unošenja u tijelo pacijenta mogu zaustaviti upalu ili citokinsku oluju koja je vrlo štetna za pacijente, uključujući i one koji su oboljeli od koronavirusa', objasnio je prof. Mevorach.
Drugim riječima, Allocetra potiskuje imunološki odgovor i tako vraća ravnotežu organizma. Zato je i namijenjen najtežim bolesnicima čiji je glavni problem u borbi protiv korone činjenica da je njihov imunološki sustav "izvan kontrole".
"Vjerujemo da rezultati ispitivanja, u kombinaciji s konvencionalnim liječenjem, daju jedinstvenu priliku za preživljavanje pacijenata s koronom u teškom i kritičnom stanju kod kojih upravo citokinska oluja uništava organe, što onda postaje pogubno", rekao je Mevorach.
Neki su pacijenti govorili o svojem iskustvu s ovim lijekom i istaknuli da su već dva sata nakon prve doze osjetili značajne promjene u organizmu. Naglašavaju da im se polako počela vraćati snaga iako su kašalj i problemi s disanjem i dalje bili prisutni ali je sveukupno stanje bilo značajno bolje.
