Desetak navodnih pripadnika bande gađali su kamenjem i žive spalili u ponedjeljak stanovnici četvrti Port-au-Princea, izvijestili su policija i očevidci dok je UN istog dana upozorio da na Haitiju vlada nesigurnost dostojna "oružanog sukoba".

Ovaj novi slučaj smrtonosnog nasilja dogodio se pošto su policajci priveli naoružane osobe dok vlada povećana napetost u haićanskome glavnom gradu.

"Tijekom pregleda minibusa u kojemu su bile naoružane osobe, policija je zaplijenila oružje i drugu opremu. Uz to, više od deset osoba iz tog vozila linčovali su stanovnici četvrti", navodi haićanska policija u priopćenju.

Policija ne navodi točan broj žrtava ni u kojim okolnostima je izgubila nadzor nad osumnjičenicima s kojima su se obračunali stanovnici četvrti Canape Vert.

No sukobi su počeli prije zore, kada su pripadnici banda ušli u stambene četvrti glavnoga grada, pljačkajući kuće i napadajući stanovnike, rekli su svjedoci.

"Hitci su nas probudili jutros oko 3.00 sata, bande su navalile na nas, čula se pucnjava", rekao je za AFP stanovnik susjedne četvrti Turgeau.

Još najmanje tri navodna pripadnika bande ubijena su i spaljena oko podneva, vidi se na fotografijama i video snimkama objavljenim na internetu. 

Nesigurnost u haićanskome glavnom gradu dosegla je razinu "usporedivu s onom u zemljama u ratu", upozorio je UN u izvješću objavljenom u ponedjeljak, ističući da je broj ubojstava i otmica u zemlji u znatnom porastu.

"Haićanski narod je i dalje izložen jednoj od najgorih kriza ljudskih prava zadnjih desetljeća i velikoj humanitarnoj krizi", navodi se u izvješću glavnog tajnika Antonija Guterresa.

Od 1. siječnja do 31. ožujka broj ubojstava u zemlji je porastao za 21 posto u odnosu na prethodno tromjesečje (815 naprema 673) a broj otmica za 63 posto (637 naprema 391).

Desetak navodnih pripadnika bande gađali su kamenjem i žive spalili u ponedjeljak stanovnici četvrti Port-au-Princea, izvijestili su policija i očevidci dok je UN istog dana upozorio da na Haitiju vlada nesigurnost dostojna "oružanog sukoba".

Ovaj novi slučaj smrtonosnog nasilja dogodio se pošto su policajci priveli naoružane osobe dok vlada povećana napetost u haićanskome glavnom gradu.

"Tijekom pregleda minibusa u kojemu su bile naoružane osobe, policija je zaplijenila oružje i drugu opremu. Uz to, više od deset osoba iz tog vozila linčovali su stanovnici četvrti", navodi haićanska policija u priopćenju.

Policija ne navodi točan broj žrtava ni u kojim okolnostima je izgubila nadzor nad osumnjičenicima s kojima su se obračunali stanovnici četvrti Canape Vert.

No sukobi su počeli prije zore, kada su pripadnici banda ušli u stambene četvrti glavnoga grada, pljačkajući kuće i napadajući stanovnike, rekli su svjedoci.

"Hitci su nas probudili jutros oko 3.00 sata, bande su navalile na nas, čula se pucnjava", rekao je za AFP stanovnik susjedne četvrti Turgeau.

Još najmanje tri navodna pripadnika bande ubijena su i spaljena oko podneva, vidi se na fotografijama i video snimkama objavljenim na internetu. 

Nesigurnost u haićanskome glavnom gradu dosegla je razinu "usporedivu s onom u zemljama u ratu", upozorio je UN u izvješću objavljenom u ponedjeljak, ističući da je broj ubojstava i otmica u zemlji u znatnom porastu.

"Haićanski narod je i dalje izložen jednoj od najgorih kriza ljudskih prava zadnjih desetljeća i velikoj humanitarnoj krizi", navodi se u izvješću glavnog tajnika Antonija Guterresa.

Od 1. siječnja do 31. ožujka broj ubojstava u zemlji je porastao za 21 posto u odnosu na prethodno tromjesečje (815 naprema 673) a broj otmica za 63 posto (637 naprema 391).

Desetak navodnih pripadnika bande gađali su kamenjem i žive spalili u ponedjeljak stanovnici četvrti Port-au-Princea, izvijestili su policija i očevidci dok je UN istog dana upozorio da na Haitiju vlada nesigurnost dostojna "oružanog sukoba".

Ovaj novi slučaj smrtonosnog nasilja dogodio se pošto su policajci priveli naoružane osobe dok vlada povećana napetost u haićanskome glavnom gradu.

"Tijekom pregleda minibusa u kojemu su bile naoružane osobe, policija je zaplijenila oružje i drugu opremu. Uz to, više od deset osoba iz tog vozila linčovali su stanovnici četvrti", navodi haićanska policija u priopćenju.

Policija ne navodi točan broj žrtava ni u kojim okolnostima je izgubila nadzor nad osumnjičenicima s kojima su se obračunali stanovnici četvrti Canape Vert.

No sukobi su počeli prije zore, kada su pripadnici banda ušli u stambene četvrti glavnoga grada, pljačkajući kuće i napadajući stanovnike, rekli su svjedoci.

"Hitci su nas probudili jutros oko 3.00 sata, bande su navalile na nas, čula se pucnjava", rekao je za AFP stanovnik susjedne četvrti Turgeau.

Još najmanje tri navodna pripadnika bande ubijena su i spaljena oko podneva, vidi se na fotografijama i video snimkama objavljenim na internetu. 

Nesigurnost u haićanskome glavnom gradu dosegla je razinu "usporedivu s onom u zemljama u ratu", upozorio je UN u izvješću objavljenom u ponedjeljak, ističući da je broj ubojstava i otmica u zemlji u znatnom porastu.

"Haićanski narod je i dalje izložen jednoj od najgorih kriza ljudskih prava zadnjih desetljeća i velikoj humanitarnoj krizi", navodi se u izvješću glavnog tajnika Antonija Guterresa.

Od 1. siječnja do 31. ožujka broj ubojstava u zemlji je porastao za 21 posto u odnosu na prethodno tromjesečje (815 naprema 673) a broj otmica za 63 posto (637 naprema 391).
