Izgradnja aerodroma Trebinje i neprihvatljivost tog projekta za Dubrovačko-neretvansku županiju i Republiku Hrvatsku bila je temom press konferencije u palači Ranjina koju je predvodio župan Nikola Dobroslavić. Uz njega, na pressici su bili i predstavnici struke, Dijana Tomašević Rakić iz županijskog Upravnog odjela za zaštitu okoliša, Marijana Miljas Đuračić, ravnateljica Javne ustanove za upravljanje zaštićenim dijelovima prirode Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije te Branka Martinović Vuković. 

Župan je ponovo upozorio na činjenicu da bi najavljena investicija aerodroma Trebinje kod mjesta Talež u Republici Srpskoj na granici s Federacijom BiH ugrozila izvorište Omble i pitku vodu za dubrovačko područje: 

- Problematičan je i geostrateški aspekt. Pista će biti duža od piste zagrebačke i dubrovačke zračne luke. Zašto se kao investitor spominje Republika Srbija, zašto tolika sletna staza? Republika Srbija je sudjelovala u agresiji na hrvatsko i dubrovačko područje, ostavila sve spaljeno i ne volimo da nas se asocira na ta vremena, a ovim to čine - rekao je Dobroslavić.

- Ne smiju graditi na prostoru koji ugrožava budućnost Dubrovnika - istaknuo je. 

Na opasnost ovog projekta na glavni vodozahvat Grada Dubrovnika, a u budućnosti šireg dubrovačkog područja od Konavala do Stona, najbolje ukazuje Hidrogeološki elaborat 'Zone sanitarne zaštite izvorišta Vodovoda Dubrovnik', izrađen od Energoprojekta iz Beograda, a naručene od Vodovoda Dubrovnik 1989. godine. Prema ovoj stručnoj podlozi, lokacija planirane zračne luke smještena je u II. zoni sanitarne zaštite izvorišta Ombla, glavnog izvora za vodoopskrbu Dubrovnika i njegovog šireg područja. Zato se uputio dopis Ministarstvu gospodarstva i održivog razvoja i Ministarstvu vanjskih i europskih poslova sa zahtjevom da osiguraju da se nikakvom gradnjom ne ugroze podzemne vode i vodoopskrba u našoj županiji, naglasio je župan. 

Na pitanje novinara je li se razgovaralo sa suprotnom stranom, odnosno srpskim predstavnicima, Nikola Dobroslavić odgovorio je da nisu sjeli za stol, niti znaju zašto je došlo do promjene lokacije aerodroma koji se prethodno planirao u Zupcima, a nema ni odgovora hrvatskim ministarstvima. Rečeno je i kako je o svemu obaviještena Europska komisija, te da su propusti u planiranju projekta sa srpske strane bjelodani. 

- Što se tiče ESPO konvencije, upravo ona štiti prekogranična područja od negativnih utjecaja projekata s druge strane granice. Ovdje je to eklatantan primjer, radi se o katastrofalnim zagađenjima - naglasio je župan. - Oni trebaju dokazati da nema apsolutno nikakve ugroze, a to je po nama apsolutno nemoguće. Bosna i Hercegovina, nadam se ne samo deklaratorno, želi u Europsku uniju, a ako to žele, moraju poštivati europska pravila.

Izgradnja aerodroma Trebinje i neprihvatljivost tog projekta za Dubrovačko-neretvansku županiju i Republiku Hrvatsku bila je temom press konferencije u palači Ranjina koju je predvodio župan Nikola Dobroslavić. Uz njega, na pressici su bili i predstavnici struke, Dijana Tomašević Rakić iz županijskog Upravnog odjela za zaštitu okoliša, Marijana Miljas Đuračić, ravnateljica Javne ustanove za upravljanje zaštićenim dijelovima prirode Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije te Branka Martinović Vuković. 

Župan je ponovo upozorio na činjenicu da bi najavljena investicija aerodroma Trebinje kod mjesta Talež u Republici Srpskoj na granici s Federacijom BiH ugrozila izvorište Omble i pitku vodu za dubrovačko područje: 

- Problematičan je i geostrateški aspekt. Pista će biti duža od piste zagrebačke i dubrovačke zračne luke. Zašto se kao investitor spominje Republika Srbija, zašto tolika sletna staza? Republika Srbija je sudjelovala u agresiji na hrvatsko i dubrovačko područje, ostavila sve spaljeno i ne volimo da nas se asocira na ta vremena, a ovim to čine - rekao je Dobroslavić.

- Ne smiju graditi na prostoru koji ugrožava budućnost Dubrovnika - istaknuo je. 

Na opasnost ovog projekta na glavni vodozahvat Grada Dubrovnika, a u budućnosti šireg dubrovačkog područja od Konavala do Stona, najbolje ukazuje Hidrogeološki elaborat 'Zone sanitarne zaštite izvorišta Vodovoda Dubrovnik', izrađen od Energoprojekta iz Beograda, a naručene od Vodovoda Dubrovnik 1989. godine. Prema ovoj stručnoj podlozi, lokacija planirane zračne luke smještena je u II. zoni sanitarne zaštite izvorišta Ombla, glavnog izvora za vodoopskrbu Dubrovnika i njegovog šireg područja. Zato se uputio dopis Ministarstvu gospodarstva i održivog razvoja i Ministarstvu vanjskih i europskih poslova sa zahtjevom da osiguraju da se nikakvom gradnjom ne ugroze podzemne vode i vodoopskrba u našoj županiji, naglasio je župan. 

Na pitanje novinara je li se razgovaralo sa suprotnom stranom, odnosno srpskim predstavnicima, Nikola Dobroslavić odgovorio je da nisu sjeli za stol, niti znaju zašto je došlo do promjene lokacije aerodroma koji se prethodno planirao u Zupcima, a nema ni odgovora hrvatskim ministarstvima. Rečeno je i kako je o svemu obaviještena Europska komisija, te da su propusti u planiranju projekta sa srpske strane bjelodani. 

- Što se tiče ESPO konvencije, upravo ona štiti prekogranična područja od negativnih utjecaja projekata s druge strane granice. Ovdje je to eklatantan primjer, radi se o katastrofalnim zagađenjima - naglasio je župan. - Oni trebaju dokazati da nema apsolutno nikakve ugroze, a to je po nama apsolutno nemoguće. Bosna i Hercegovina, nadam se ne samo deklaratorno, želi u Europsku uniju, a ako to žele, moraju poštivati europska pravila.
