U samo jedan dan pogodilo ih je 455 potresa, tijekom utorka ujutro nova dva jačine 5.6 i 5.7 stupnjeva po Richteru. Mrtvi se broje na tisuće, niske temperature otežavaju potragu za preživjelima u ruševinama... Sa strepnjom svaku vijest iz domovine prati osoblje dubrovačkog visokokategornika Rixos Premium. Mnoge među njima rodbinske i prijateljske spone vezuju baš za područje juga i jugoistoka Turske, pogođenih katastrofalnim potresima.

Srušeni objekti u epicentralnom području

- U Rixosu radi nekoliko zaposlenika upravo iz tih regija. Nekoliko njih se za vrijeme potresa zateklo tamo na godišnjem odmoru i srećom su svi dobro. Jedan naš zaposlenik je jučer žurno otputovao ženi i djeci. Drugi zasad ostaju u Dubrovniku, jako su potreseni i pružamo im svaku moguću potporu – izjavila je voditeljica prodaje hotel Sandra Urlić.

Među onima koje smo zatekli u Gradu je i voditelj hotelskog bara Mehmet Koroglu, a dolazi upravo  iz Gaziantepa, turskog grada usred epicentralnog područja. Snimke momentalnog urušavanja stambenih zgrada u njegovu zavičaju šokirale su gledatelje diljem svijeta, a Mehmet nam otkriva da su njegovi najbliži izravno pogođeni kataklizmom:

- Moja žena i roditelji trenutno žive u autu. Srećom su dobro, ali nemaju kamo poći. Problem je što je cijela šira regija pogođena potresima, sve je razrušeno, ljudi trenutno nemaju ni struje ni vode. Sve trgovine su zatvorene, pa nije moguće kupiti ni hranu. Loši zimski uvjeti i velika hladnoća dodatno pogrošavaju situaciju – požalio se Koroglu, posebno tužan jer u ovom trenutku nikako ne može pomoći najužoj obitelji.

Ruševine u Gaziantepu

- Na svu sreću, internet i telefonska mreža tu i tamo rade, pa se barem mogu čuti s njima. Ne znam što će biti. Oni planiraju još dva do tri dana „živjeti“ u autu, pa će pokušati iznajmiti neki stan koji je siguran. Ovo je uistinu velika tragedija – utučen je Mehmet kojemu su u potresima život izgubila dvojica bliskih prijatelja. Pričati o tragediji i žrtvama među sunarodnjacima bi, kaže, mogao pričati satima, no to ga previše uzrujava:

- Bolje da ne govorim dalje – zaključuje sav ožalošćen zaposlenik Rixosa iz Gaziantepa.

Mehmetov zemljak Eren Aydin, voditelj rezervacija dubrovačkog hotela, podrijetlom je iz Mardina na jugoistoku Turske i strašno je zabrinut za svoju obitelj koja živi u potresom teško stradalom Adiyamanu:

- Mi u Turskoj smo doživjeli najveći potres u povijesti Republike, pogodilo je čak deset različitih gradova i izazvao nezapamćena razaranja. Osobno satima nisam mogao doći do svoje obitelji koja živi u Adiyamanu. Kuća u kojoj je živio moj brat je jako oštećena i oni su je napustili doslovce u zadnji čas. Moj brat ne može izaći iz grada jer je liječnik, po cijele dane radi u polurazrušenoj bolnici. Njegova trudna žena i moj trogodišnji nećak pokušali su preživjeti jedući jedan paket krekera u autu cijeli dan jučer – ispričao nam je potreseni Eren.

- Sve trgovine su ili zatvorene ili uništene, čak se ni benzin ne može kupiti za grijanje auta. Tisuće zgrada je porušeno, ljudi su na ulicama, i puno njih koji nisu stradali u potresu, možda neće ili nisu preživjeli hladnoću. Spasilačke ekipe poslane su iz mnogih zemalja, hvala svima, ali potrebno ih je još puno više. Bojim se da će biti još potresa. Molim vas pomozite Turskoj! - apelirao je nesretni Aydin.

U samo jedan dan pogodilo ih je 455 potresa, tijekom utorka ujutro nova dva jačine 5.6 i 5.7 stupnjeva po Richteru. Mrtvi se broje na tisuće, niske temperature otežavaju potragu za preživjelima u ruševinama... Sa strepnjom svaku vijest iz domovine prati osoblje dubrovačkog visokokategornika Rixos Premium. Mnoge među njima rodbinske i prijateljske spone vezuju baš za područje juga i jugoistoka Turske, pogođenih katastrofalnim potresima.

- U Rixosu radi nekoliko zaposlenika upravo iz tih regija. Nekoliko njih se za vrijeme potresa zateklo tamo na godišnjem odmoru i srećom su svi dobro. Jedan naš zaposlenik je jučer žurno otputovao ženi i djeci. Drugi zasad ostaju u Dubrovniku, jako su potreseni i pružamo im svaku moguću potporu – izjavila je voditeljica prodaje hotel Sandra Urlić.

Među onima koje smo zatekli u Gradu je i voditelj hotelskog bara Mehmet Koroglu, a dolazi upravo  iz Gaziantepa, turskog grada usred epicentralnog područja. Snimke momentalnog urušavanja stambenih zgrada u njegovu zavičaju šokirale su gledatelje diljem svijeta, a Mehmet nam otkriva da su njegovi najbliži izravno pogođeni kataklizmom:

- Moja žena i roditelji trenutno žive u autu. Srećom su dobro, ali nemaju kamo poći. Problem je što je cijela šira regija pogođena potresima, sve je razrušeno, ljudi trenutno nemaju ni struje ni vode. Sve trgovine su zatvorene, pa nije moguće kupiti ni hranu. Loši zimski uvjeti i velika hladnoća dodatno pogrošavaju situaciju – požalio se Koroglu, posebno tužan jer u ovom trenutku nikako ne može pomoći najužoj obitelji.

- Na svu sreću, internet i telefonska mreža tu i tamo rade, pa se barem mogu čuti s njima. Ne znam što će biti. Oni planiraju još dva do tri dana „živjeti“ u autu, pa će pokušati iznajmiti neki stan koji je siguran. Ovo je uistinu velika tragedija – utučen je Mehmet kojemu su u potresima život izgubila dvojica bliskih prijatelja. Pričati o tragediji i žrtvama među sunarodnjacima bi, kaže, mogao pričati satima, no to ga previše uzrujava:

- Bolje da ne govorim dalje – zaključuje sav ožalošćen zaposlenik Rixosa iz Gaziantepa.

Mehmetov zemljak Eren Aydin, voditelj rezervacija dubrovačkog hotela, podrijetlom je iz Mardina na jugoistoku Turske i strašno je zabrinut za svoju obitelj koja živi u potresom teško stradalom Adiyamanu:

- Mi u Turskoj smo doživjeli najveći potres u povijesti Republike, pogodilo je čak deset različitih gradova i izazvao nezapamćena razaranja. Osobno satima nisam mogao doći do svoje obitelji koja živi u Adiyamanu. Kuća u kojoj je živio moj brat je jako oštećena i oni su je napustili doslovce u zadnji čas. Moj brat ne može izaći iz grada jer je liječnik, po cijele dane radi u polurazrušenoj bolnici. Njegova trudna žena i moj trogodišnji nećak pokušali su preživjeti jedući jedan paket krekera u autu cijeli dan jučer – ispričao nam je potreseni Eren.

- Sve trgovine su ili zatvorene ili uništene, čak se ni benzin ne može kupiti za grijanje auta. Tisuće zgrada je porušeno, ljudi su na ulicama, i puno njih koji nisu stradali u potresu, možda neće ili nisu preživjeli hladnoću. Spasilačke ekipe poslane su iz mnogih zemalja, hvala svima, ali potrebno ih je još puno više. Bojim se da će biti još potresa. Molim vas pomozite Turskoj! - apelirao je nesretni Aydin.
