Spomen-ploči Alojziju Stepincu nije mjesto nigdje u svijetu, a kamoli u Jeruzalemu. Učinit ću sve što mogu da što prije bude uklonjena – izjavio je ovih dana za srpski Kurir Efraim Zuroff, čelnik Centra Simon Wiesenthal. Zuroffa, kojem godi kad ga nazivaju posljednjim lovcem na naciste, u Srbiji inače prate sa zanimanjem i uvažavanjem jer je vjerojatno jedini nesrbin u svijetu koji ima razumijevanja za genocid u Srebrenici.

Zločin u Srebrenici, ustvrdio je Efraim prije nekoliko godina, pogrešno se tumači. Po njemu, to nije bio genocid jer su ondje, kako je ustvrdio, srpske snage sredinom srpnja 1995. "oslobodile žene i djecu i nisu ih ubile". Kad ovo pročitate, zamalo da vas ne spopadne bijes, jer je poznato kako su pripadnici Vojske Republike Srpske, paravojne formacije Škorpioni, pod vodstvom zloglasnog generala Ratka Mladića, pobili 8372 muškarca bošnjačke narodnosti. Kolike su majke, žene i djecu zavili u crno do konca života, to Zuroffu uopće nije važno, kao da se osvrće na ona Isusova čuda umnažanja kruha, kad je nahranio mnoštvo ljudi, a evanđelist Ivan, pravi Židov, navodi kako je samo muškaraca bilo oko pet tisuća.

Esther Gitman, američka povjesničarka židovskog podrijetla, koja se već dugo bavi temama Drugog svjetskog rata, osobito događajima koji su se zbivali u Nezavisnoj državi Hrvatskoj, napisala je više knjiga u kojoj ističe ulogu blaženog Alojzija Stepinca u spašavanju Židova u NDH. O Zuroffu i njemu sličnima Gitman je svojedobno izjavila: "Žao mi je što je tako puno priča o Stepincu koje se iznose bez ikakvih dokaza, a pogotovo što neki povjesničari iz Izraela, poput Efraima Zuroffa, Gideona Greifa i drugih, falsificiraju povijest. Ja ne mogu razumjeti zbog čega to rade, je li riječ o nekom prestižu, novcu, što li, no nedavno su ponovili da je Stepinac zločinac, da je bio dio ustaškog režima, što nije istina."

Štoviše, Gitman otvoreno optužuje Srbe da iskrivljavaju povijest, Zuroff i Greif im u tome pomažu, a zna se tko su bili pokretači antisemitizma u Jugoslaviji, pojedinci i društvene grupe sa srpske strane.

Spomen-ploča postavljena je 27. travnja ove godine na inicijativu Hrvatske magistralne delegacije Viteškog reda Svetoga groba jeruzalemskog, čiji je zaštitnik blaženi Alojzije Stepinac. Nalazi se na ulazu u kapelu u Austrijskom gostinjcu u Via Dolorosa, kojom je Stepinac 23. srpnja 1937. nosio križ tijekom križnog puta hrvatskih hodočasnika. Istim onim "putem suza" kojim je Isus Krist prošao prije raspeća na Golgoti.

Međutim, Zuroff je kasno doznao za spomen-ploču hrvatskome blaženiku, pa nije uspio spriječiti njezino otkrivanje. "To je odvratno. Ne znam tko je to učinio i tko je to mogao učiniti, vrlo sam tužan", istaknuo je i poručio: "Ne mogu uzeti čekić i razbiti ploču, ali ću učiniti sve što je u mojoj moći da ona bude skinuta."

E, pa nemaš baš toliku moć, nisi bog, Efraime Zuroffe. I tko si ti da sudiš svetome Alojziju Stepincu?!

Spomen-ploči Alojziju Stepincu nije mjesto nigdje u svijetu, a kamoli u Jeruzalemu. Učinit ću sve što mogu da što prije bude uklonjena – izjavio je ovih dana za srpski Kurir Efraim Zuroff, čelnik Centra Simon Wiesenthal. Zuroffa, kojem godi kad ga nazivaju posljednjim lovcem na naciste, u Srbiji inače prate sa zanimanjem i uvažavanjem jer je vjerojatno jedini nesrbin u svijetu koji ima razumijevanja za genocid u Srebrenici.

Zločin u Srebrenici, ustvrdio je Efraim prije nekoliko godina, pogrešno se tumači. Po njemu, to nije bio genocid jer su ondje, kako je ustvrdio, srpske snage sredinom srpnja 1995. "oslobodile žene i djecu i nisu ih ubile". Kad ovo pročitate, zamalo da vas ne spopadne bijes, jer je poznato kako su pripadnici Vojske Republike Srpske, paravojne formacije Škorpioni, pod vodstvom zloglasnog generala Ratka Mladića, pobili 8372 muškarca bošnjačke narodnosti. Kolike su majke, žene i djecu zavili u crno do konca života, to Zuroffu uopće nije važno, kao da se osvrće na ona Isusova čuda umnažanja kruha, kad je nahranio mnoštvo ljudi, a evanđelist Ivan, pravi Židov, navodi kako je samo muškaraca bilo oko pet tisuća.

Esther Gitman, američka povjesničarka židovskog podrijetla, koja se već dugo bavi temama Drugog svjetskog rata, osobito događajima koji su se zbivali u Nezavisnoj državi Hrvatskoj, napisala je više knjiga u kojoj ističe ulogu blaženog Alojzija Stepinca u spašavanju Židova u NDH. O Zuroffu i njemu sličnima Gitman je svojedobno izjavila: "Žao mi je što je tako puno priča o Stepincu koje se iznose bez ikakvih dokaza, a pogotovo što neki povjesničari iz Izraela, poput Efraima Zuroffa, Gideona Greifa i drugih, falsificiraju povijest. Ja ne mogu razumjeti zbog čega to rade, je li riječ o nekom prestižu, novcu, što li, no nedavno su ponovili da je Stepinac zločinac, da je bio dio ustaškog režima, što nije istina."

Štoviše, Gitman otvoreno optužuje Srbe da iskrivljavaju povijest, Zuroff i Greif im u tome pomažu, a zna se tko su bili pokretači antisemitizma u Jugoslaviji, pojedinci i društvene grupe sa srpske strane.

Spomen-ploča postavljena je 27. travnja ove godine na inicijativu Hrvatske magistralne delegacije Viteškog reda Svetoga groba jeruzalemskog, čiji je zaštitnik blaženi Alojzije Stepinac. Nalazi se na ulazu u kapelu u Austrijskom gostinjcu u Via Dolorosa, kojom je Stepinac 23. srpnja 1937. nosio križ tijekom križnog puta hrvatskih hodočasnika. Istim onim "putem suza" kojim je Isus Krist prošao prije raspeća na Golgoti.

Međutim, Zuroff je kasno doznao za spomen-ploču hrvatskome blaženiku, pa nije uspio spriječiti njezino otkrivanje. "To je odvratno. Ne znam tko je to učinio i tko je to mogao učiniti, vrlo sam tužan", istaknuo je i poručio: "Ne mogu uzeti čekić i razbiti ploču, ali ću učiniti sve što je u mojoj moći da ona bude skinuta."

E, pa nemaš baš toliku moć, nisi bog, Efraime Zuroffe. I tko si ti da sudiš svetome Alojziju Stepincu?!
