Glumica Andrea Riseborough zadržat će kontroverznu nominaciju za Oscara za "To Leslie" iako je analiza neuobičajene promotivne kampanje neovisnog filma dala razloga za zabrinutost, objavila je Akademija za filmsku umjetnost u utorak.


Nominacija britanske zvijezde za najbolju glumicu, koju je prošli tjedan objavila najprestižnija grupa za dodjelu nagrada u Hollywoodu, izazvala je šok u industriji.
Dok kritičari hvale njezinu izvedbu, film je zaradio samo 27.000 dolara na kino blagajnama i nije imao skupu i vrlo vidljivu marketinšku kampanju koja se smatra ključnom za nominacije za Oscare.

Film o teksaškoj majci koja je dobila na lutriji, ali je spiskala bogatstvo i utonula u alkoholizam umjesto skupog marketinga oslanjao se na intenzivnu kampanju na društvenim mrežama koja se odvijala u posljednji trenutak a u kojoj su sudjelovale i istaknute slavne osobe, uključujući Edwarda Nortona, Gwyneth Paltrow i Sarah Paulson.


U Hollywoodu se razvila rasprava o tome jesu li prekršena pravila Akademije protiv lobiranja ili omalovažavanja konkurencije.
"Akademija je utvrdila da ta aktivnost nije takve razine da bi se nominacija filma trebala poništiti", objavila je u utorak skupina koja dodjeljuje Oscara.
"Međutim, otkrili smo taktike vođenja kampanje koje su izazvale zabrinutost. O tim se taktikama razgovara izravno s odgovornim stranama."


Oscari se dodjeljuju na temelju glasova 9500 članova Akademije filmskih umjetnosti i znanosti.
Nominacije određuje svaki ogranak Akademije,a o nominacijama za Oscara za glumce, uključujući Riseborough, glasovalo je oko 1300 članova nadležnog ogranka.
Upravo su ti članovi navodno ciljani e-mailovima i objavama na društvenim mrežama, potičući ih da glasaju za Riseborougha i traže od drugih da to učine.

Najmanje jedna objava na Instagramu koja podržava "Leslie" sugerira da Riseboroughove suparnice poput Danielle Deadwyler i Viole Davis "ionako bivaju nominirane", tako da se glasovi članova ogranka mogu sigurno usmjeriti negdje drugdje.
Ni Deadwyler ni Davis, obje crnkinje, na kraju nisu dobile nominacije. Ove godine nijedna crnačka zvijezda nije dobila nominaciju za glavnu glumicu.


"Svrha pravila kampanje je osigurati pošten i etičan proces dodjele nagrada - to su temeljne vrijednosti Akademije", stoji u priopćenju Akademije.
Analiza je pokazala da se "komponente propisa moraju razjasniti kako bi se stvorio bolji okvir za poštovanje, uključivo i nepristrano provođenje kampanje."
Evenutalne promjene bit će provedene tek nakon ovogodišnje dodjele Oscara, koja se održava 12. ožujka.
"Akademija nastoji stvoriti okruženje u kojem se glasovi temelje isključivo na umjetničkim i tehničkim vrijednostima prihvatljivih filmova i ostvarenja", zaključuje se u priopćenju.

Glumica Andrea Riseborough zadržat će kontroverznu nominaciju za Oscara za "To Leslie" iako je analiza neuobičajene promotivne kampanje neovisnog filma dala razloga za zabrinutost, objavila je Akademija za filmsku umjetnost u utorak.


Nominacija britanske zvijezde za najbolju glumicu, koju je prošli tjedan objavila najprestižnija grupa za dodjelu nagrada u Hollywoodu, izazvala je šok u industriji.
Dok kritičari hvale njezinu izvedbu, film je zaradio samo 27.000 dolara na kino blagajnama i nije imao skupu i vrlo vidljivu marketinšku kampanju koja se smatra ključnom za nominacije za Oscare.

Film o teksaškoj majci koja je dobila na lutriji, ali je spiskala bogatstvo i utonula u alkoholizam umjesto skupog marketinga oslanjao se na intenzivnu kampanju na društvenim mrežama koja se odvijala u posljednji trenutak a u kojoj su sudjelovale i istaknute slavne osobe, uključujući Edwarda Nortona, Gwyneth Paltrow i Sarah Paulson.


U Hollywoodu se razvila rasprava o tome jesu li prekršena pravila Akademije protiv lobiranja ili omalovažavanja konkurencije.
"Akademija je utvrdila da ta aktivnost nije takve razine da bi se nominacija filma trebala poništiti", objavila je u utorak skupina koja dodjeljuje Oscara.
"Međutim, otkrili smo taktike vođenja kampanje koje su izazvale zabrinutost. O tim se taktikama razgovara izravno s odgovornim stranama."


Oscari se dodjeljuju na temelju glasova 9500 članova Akademije filmskih umjetnosti i znanosti.
Nominacije određuje svaki ogranak Akademije,a o nominacijama za Oscara za glumce, uključujući Riseborough, glasovalo je oko 1300 članova nadležnog ogranka.
Upravo su ti članovi navodno ciljani e-mailovima i objavama na društvenim mrežama, potičući ih da glasaju za Riseborougha i traže od drugih da to učine.

Najmanje jedna objava na Instagramu koja podržava "Leslie" sugerira da Riseboroughove suparnice poput Danielle Deadwyler i Viole Davis "ionako bivaju nominirane", tako da se glasovi članova ogranka mogu sigurno usmjeriti negdje drugdje.
Ni Deadwyler ni Davis, obje crnkinje, na kraju nisu dobile nominacije. Ove godine nijedna crnačka zvijezda nije dobila nominaciju za glavnu glumicu.


"Svrha pravila kampanje je osigurati pošten i etičan proces dodjele nagrada - to su temeljne vrijednosti Akademije", stoji u priopćenju Akademije.
Analiza je pokazala da se "komponente propisa moraju razjasniti kako bi se stvorio bolji okvir za poštovanje, uključivo i nepristrano provođenje kampanje."
Evenutalne promjene bit će provedene tek nakon ovogodišnje dodjele Oscara, koja se održava 12. ožujka.
"Akademija nastoji stvoriti okruženje u kojem se glasovi temelje isključivo na umjetničkim i tehničkim vrijednostima prihvatljivih filmova i ostvarenja", zaključuje se u priopćenju.
