Kanadska pjevačica Celine Dion ima jedan od najboljih ženskih vokala u popularnoj glazbi i tvori sveto vokalno trojstvo s Whitney Houston i Mariah Carey. Ipak, Dion je žanrovski svestranija od kolegica i pjevala je ne samo na engleskom, već i francuskom, španjolskom, talijanskom...

Proslavila se krajem osamdesetih kad je pobijedila na Euroviziji predstavljajući Švicarsku (pjesma "Ne partez pas sans moi"), a postala megazvijezda u devedesetima kad je zapjevala na engleskom i nanizala bestelerske albume s mnoštvom hitova.

Malo tko ne zna za njezine ljubave balade kao što su "The Power Of Love", "Think Twice", "Because You Loved Me", "It‘s All Coming Back To Me Now" i, naročito, "My Heart Will Go On" iz filma "Titanic", nagrađena Oscarom. Mnoge njezine pjesme bile su vezane za filmove pa je "Because You Loved Me" obilježila "Up Close and Personal", a "Ashes" se čula u "Deadpoolu 2".

Bilo je pitanje dana kad će i Celine dobiti "biopic" u eri kad su filmske biografije pjevača i pjevačica postale trend; dosad je dobila samo ne pretjerano zapaženi TV film iz 2008. godine. Unatrag nekoliko godina gledali smo "Bohemian Rhapsody" o Freddieju Mercuryju, "Rocketman" o Eltonu Johnu, "Respect" o Arethi Franklin, "Moonage Daydream" o Davidu Bowieju, "Elvis" o kralju rock ‘n‘ rolla Presleyju i "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" o Whitney.

Zanimljivo, biografski film o Dion imao je premijeru koncem 2020., dvije godine prije "Elvisa" i "I Wanna Dance With Somebody", ali je u svjetskoj kinodistribuciji bio tijekom 2022., da bi sada konačno zapjevao i u hrvatskim kinima. Film naslovljen "Aline: Glas ljubavi" ("Aline") nastao je u francuskoj produkciji i ustvari je samo "inspiriran životom pjevačice", ali je i "djelo fikcije".

"Likovi, mjesta i događaji modificirani su autorovom vizijom", ističe se u produžetku u uvodu. Posrijedi je neautorizirana biografija s dosta pjesničke slobode u viziji autorice Valerie Lemercier, glavne glumice, redateljice i koscenaristice filma, koja nosi titulu "francuske Kristen Wiig".

Lemercier je odlučila subvertirati biografsku dramu ovog tipa, napraviti nešto što je Leos Carax napravio s žanrom mjuzikla u "Annette". Jasno je to u prvih deset minuta "Aline". Dok pratimo odrastanje titularne pjevačice, filmske inačice Celine, mala Aline je odrasla 50-i-nešto-godišnja žena u tijelu djeteta.

Naime, Lemercier je, pomoću kompjuterskih efekata, (po)stavila vlastito digitalno kvazi-retuširano, pomlađeno lice (glavu) na tijelo curice, možda čak i smanjila svojo tijelo, umjesto da angažira dječju glumicu. To djeluje krajnje bizarno i bode oči, naročito u sceni dok klinka viri ispod pozornice gledajući brojnu familiju kako nastupa u "Kelly Family" stilu.

Redateljičin odgovor na kćerku-lutku u "Annette" izgleda kao hororski kratki spoj "Neobične priče o Benjaminu Buttonu" i "Siročeta", uz tu razliku da Lemercier nije filmaški kalibar Caraxa istančane estetike ili Bryana Singera da režira neku koncertnu scenu poput "Live Aid" nastupa Queena u "Bohemian Rhapsody".

Nedokučivo je zašto je Lemercier posegnula za nečim takvim, odnosno čini se da je to izvela isključivo i ciljano da napravi subverziju i da ljudi govore o filmu na konto te scene jer "Aline" nije "biopic" parodija kao "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story", premda djelomično koketira s komedijom.

Moguće da je redateljica posegnula za time da razbije monotoniju biografske drame, napose računajući da Dion nije kontroverzna glazbena zvijezda koja je prošla sito i rešeto po pitanju skandala, ovisnosti o drogi, ljubavnih afera itd.

Jer, nakon što Aline odraste i više ne strši u kadru kad glava njezine tumačice napokon dobije odgovarajuće tijelo, film je standaran "biopic" sa svim općim mjestima žanra, osovljenim oko događaja u životu slavne pjevačice (npr. odnos s Guy-Claudeom Kamarom, kao inačicom njezinog stvarnog menadžera i muža Renea Angelila).

Vjerojatno bi bilo bolje da se Lemercier nije referirala na Celine u "Aline", već da je snimila zaseban biografski film o glazbenoj zvijezdi, nešto kao "Vox Lux". No, tada "Aline" ne bi izazvala interes kao što ga izaziva i tjera fanove i slučajne namjernike da pogledaju film bez da dvaput promisle, iako bi možda i trebali. Baby, think twice?

Kanadska pjevačica Celine Dion ima jedan od najboljih ženskih vokala u popularnoj glazbi i tvori sveto vokalno trojstvo s Whitney Houston i Mariah Carey. Ipak, Dion je žanrovski svestranija od kolegica i pjevala je ne samo na engleskom, već i francuskom, španjolskom, talijanskom...

Proslavila se krajem osamdesetih kad je pobijedila na Euroviziji predstavljajući Švicarsku (pjesma "Ne partez pas sans moi"), a postala megazvijezda u devedesetima kad je zapjevala na engleskom i nanizala bestelerske albume s mnoštvom hitova.

Malo tko ne zna za njezine ljubave balade kao što su "The Power Of Love", "Think Twice", "Because You Loved Me", "It‘s All Coming Back To Me Now" i, naročito, "My Heart Will Go On" iz filma "Titanic", nagrađena Oscarom. Mnoge njezine pjesme bile su vezane za filmove pa je "Because You Loved Me" obilježila "Up Close and Personal", a "Ashes" se čula u "Deadpoolu 2".

Bilo je pitanje dana kad će i Celine dobiti "biopic" u eri kad su filmske biografije pjevača i pjevačica postale trend; dosad je dobila samo ne pretjerano zapaženi TV film iz 2008. godine. Unatrag nekoliko godina gledali smo "Bohemian Rhapsody" o Freddieju Mercuryju, "Rocketman" o Eltonu Johnu, "Respect" o Arethi Franklin, "Moonage Daydream" o Davidu Bowieju, "Elvis" o kralju rock ‘n‘ rolla Presleyju i "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" o Whitney.

Zanimljivo, biografski film o Dion imao je premijeru koncem 2020., dvije godine prije "Elvisa" i "I Wanna Dance With Somebody", ali je u svjetskoj kinodistribuciji bio tijekom 2022., da bi sada konačno zapjevao i u hrvatskim kinima. Film naslovljen "Aline: Glas ljubavi" ("Aline") nastao je u francuskoj produkciji i ustvari je samo "inspiriran životom pjevačice", ali je i "djelo fikcije".

"Likovi, mjesta i događaji modificirani su autorovom vizijom", ističe se u produžetku u uvodu. Posrijedi je neautorizirana biografija s dosta pjesničke slobode u viziji autorice Valerie Lemercier, glavne glumice, redateljice i koscenaristice filma, koja nosi titulu "francuske Kristen Wiig".

Lemercier je odlučila subvertirati biografsku dramu ovog tipa, napraviti nešto što je Leos Carax napravio s žanrom mjuzikla u "Annette". Jasno je to u prvih deset minuta "Aline". Dok pratimo odrastanje titularne pjevačice, filmske inačice Celine, mala Aline je odrasla 50-i-nešto-godišnja žena u tijelu djeteta.

Naime, Lemercier je, pomoću kompjuterskih efekata, (po)stavila vlastito digitalno kvazi-retuširano, pomlađeno lice (glavu) na tijelo curice, možda čak i smanjila svojo tijelo, umjesto da angažira dječju glumicu. To djeluje krajnje bizarno i bode oči, naročito u sceni dok klinka viri ispod pozornice gledajući brojnu familiju kako nastupa u "Kelly Family" stilu.

Redateljičin odgovor na kćerku-lutku u "Annette" izgleda kao hororski kratki spoj "Neobične priče o Benjaminu Buttonu" i "Siročeta", uz tu razliku da Lemercier nije filmaški kalibar Caraxa istančane estetike ili Bryana Singera da režira neku koncertnu scenu poput "Live Aid" nastupa Queena u "Bohemian Rhapsody".

Nedokučivo je zašto je Lemercier posegnula za nečim takvim, odnosno čini se da je to izvela isključivo i ciljano da napravi subverziju i da ljudi govore o filmu na konto te scene jer "Aline" nije "biopic" parodija kao "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story", premda djelomično koketira s komedijom.

Moguće da je redateljica posegnula za time da razbije monotoniju biografske drame, napose računajući da Dion nije kontroverzna glazbena zvijezda koja je prošla sito i rešeto po pitanju skandala, ovisnosti o drogi, ljubavnih afera itd.

Jer, nakon što Aline odraste i više ne strši u kadru kad glava njezine tumačice napokon dobije odgovarajuće tijelo, film je standaran "biopic" sa svim općim mjestima žanra, osovljenim oko događaja u životu slavne pjevačice (npr. odnos s Guy-Claudeom Kamarom, kao inačicom njezinog stvarnog menadžera i muža Renea Angelila).

Vjerojatno bi bilo bolje da se Lemercier nije referirala na Celine u "Aline", već da je snimila zaseban biografski film o glazbenoj zvijezdi, nešto kao "Vox Lux". No, tada "Aline" ne bi izazvala interes kao što ga izaziva i tjera fanove i slučajne namjernike da pogledaju film bez da dvaput promisle, iako bi možda i trebali. Baby, think twice?
