Blesavoća godine zasad nosi ime "Barb i Star na putu za Vista Del Mar" i podatan je filmski lijek za ova prebolesna koronska (ne)vremena po preporuci doktora-kritičara. Kičasto-šarena apsurdistička komedija na sati i pol-dva radi maksimalan odmak od tmurne stvarnosti, udara brigu na veselje i teleportira gledatelja u razdoblje kad su blesavi (auto)parodijski filmovi carevali u kinima.

Baš poput takvih komedija "Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar" ne shvaća sebe nimalo ozbiljno, ali zato shvaća ozbiljno obavezu da publici nacrta smješak na lice.

Uzor glumicama i scenaristicama, filmskim i "stand up" komičarkama Kristen Wiig i Annie Mumolo (zajedno osmislile kinohit "Djeveruše", nominiran za scenarističkog Oscara), zasigurno su bile komedije poput "Austina Powersa" i "Wayneova svijeta", možda i parodije s potpisom Zuckera-Abrahamsa-Zuckera i mjuzikli tipa "Mamma Mia!".

Svakako, namjerno blesavi, "glupasti" crtanoliki filmovi lišeni zakona fizike, realnosti i zdrave logike daleko od zbilje/izvan ovoga svijeta u kojima doslovce sve može proći i prolazi, a ama baš ništa nije nemoguće. "Bondovska" negativka s "masterplanom" da pusti tisuće ubojitih komaraca na sićušnu floridsku oazu iz naslova filma kako bi se osvetila za poniženje iz mladosti? Prodano.

Najgori špijun svih vremena koji nenamjeno odaje svoje podatke, od imena do broja telefona i adrese? Ouuukej. Pjevne i plesne točke na pješčanoj plaži kao u mjuziklu? Ajde neka. Šos hlače za sredovječne dame kao padobrani? Štosno, može. Mudri pričajući rak s baritonskim glasom Morgana Freemana, pardon "Morgana Freemonda", s "d"? Kvragu, zašto da ne!

Logika je otišla na godišnji odmor (ne nužno u Vista Del Mar) u komediji koja sugerira gledatelju da napravi isto, ostavi mozak na blagajni kina i opusti se očekujući neočekivano. Naravno, komedija je općenito varljiva kao takva i ono što je jednoj osobi smiješno, drugoj ne mora biti, ali samo u takvu stanju gledatelj može biti u "u filmu" za "Barb i Star na putu za Vista Del Mar" i naći se na približnoj valnoj duljini s likovima i njihovim dogodovštinama.

Nije "Barb and Star" komedija za anale kao "Austin Powers", jer humor znade biti odveć nasumičan u "hit&miss" ritmu, no film najvećim dijelom funkcionira zahvaljujući glumicama raspoloženim za glupiranje sa zrncem (morske) soli.

U ulogama najboljih sredovječnih prijateljica-razvedenica u šos hlačama, odlučnih izaći iz zone komfora u Nebraski i poći u Vista Del Mar da povrate bezbrižan duh mladosti koji je izblijedio, Wiig i Mumolo projiciraju prilično zaraznu energiju, imaju precizan komični tajming i interne fore pretvaraju u eksterne, ne gubeći iz vida osjećaj pravog prijateljstva između njih i njihovih likova.

Mogao je ovo biti "vanity project" s bazama kakve samo njih dvije kuže, ali srećom nije. Mogle su, također, Barb i Star ispasti karikature, no glumice ih odbijaju pretvoriti u takvo što, nevisno o njihovoj razludi na ekranu, tipa kad se razbacaju na plesnom podiju na klupski remiks "Titanicove" himne "My Heart Will Go On".

Karikatura je eventualno "bondovska" negativka Sharon Gordon Fisherman, stacionirana u misterioznom podzemnom skrovištu, koju tumači gotovo neprepoznatljiva Wiig, spremna za ulogu u "Austinu Powersu 4" prelamajući Bond-zlikovca preko imidža Cate Blanchett i Tilde Swinton, moguće i Lady Gage.

No, to je svjesno napravljeno i primjereno je filmu, odnosno njezinu liku sa zlikovačkim izjavama tipa "Nitko me ne može zaustaviti", a čak i ona ima (pod)priču daleko od karikaturalne. Ova komedija mari za likove, od titularnih prijateljica do Edgara Pagéta (Jamie Dornan), pomoćnika negativke u koju je on zaljubljen, a u njega će se zaljubiti Barb i, posebice, Star.

Dok Edgar postaje razapet između dvije Wiig, negativke i pozitivke, Dornan je, neočekivano, pripravan za blesiranje zajedno s dvije iskusne komičarke, pjevanje i plesanje na pijesku među palmama. "Barb i Star" zaslužuju preporuku već samo zato što su uspjele opustiti glumca nakon ukočene izvedbe u "Pedeset nijansi sive".

Blesavoća godine zasad nosi ime "Barb i Star na putu za Vista Del Mar" i podatan je filmski lijek za ova prebolesna koronska (ne)vremena po preporuci doktora-kritičara. Kičasto-šarena apsurdistička komedija na sati i pol-dva radi maksimalan odmak od tmurne stvarnosti, udara brigu na veselje i teleportira gledatelja u razdoblje kad su blesavi (auto)parodijski filmovi carevali u kinima.

Baš poput takvih komedija "Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar" ne shvaća sebe nimalo ozbiljno, ali zato shvaća ozbiljno obavezu da publici nacrta smješak na lice.

Uzor glumicama i scenaristicama, filmskim i "stand up" komičarkama Kristen Wiig i Annie Mumolo (zajedno osmislile kinohit "Djeveruše", nominiran za scenarističkog Oscara), zasigurno su bile komedije poput "Austina Powersa" i "Wayneova svijeta", možda i parodije s potpisom Zuckera-Abrahamsa-Zuckera i mjuzikli tipa "Mamma Mia!".

Svakako, namjerno blesavi, "glupasti" crtanoliki filmovi lišeni zakona fizike, realnosti i zdrave logike daleko od zbilje/izvan ovoga svijeta u kojima doslovce sve može proći i prolazi, a ama baš ništa nije nemoguće. "Bondovska" negativka s "masterplanom" da pusti tisuće ubojitih komaraca na sićušnu floridsku oazu iz naslova filma kako bi se osvetila za poniženje iz mladosti? Prodano.

Najgori špijun svih vremena koji nenamjeno odaje svoje podatke, od imena do broja telefona i adrese? Ouuukej. Pjevne i plesne točke na pješčanoj plaži kao u mjuziklu? Ajde neka. Šos hlače za sredovječne dame kao padobrani? Štosno, može. Mudri pričajući rak s baritonskim glasom Morgana Freemana, pardon "Morgana Freemonda", s "d"? Kvragu, zašto da ne!

Logika je otišla na godišnji odmor (ne nužno u Vista Del Mar) u komediji koja sugerira gledatelju da napravi isto, ostavi mozak na blagajni kina i opusti se očekujući neočekivano. Naravno, komedija je općenito varljiva kao takva i ono što je jednoj osobi smiješno, drugoj ne mora biti, ali samo u takvu stanju gledatelj može biti u "u filmu" za "Barb i Star na putu za Vista Del Mar" i naći se na približnoj valnoj duljini s likovima i njihovim dogodovštinama.

Nije "Barb and Star" komedija za anale kao "Austin Powers", jer humor znade biti odveć nasumičan u "hit&miss" ritmu, no film najvećim dijelom funkcionira zahvaljujući glumicama raspoloženim za glupiranje sa zrncem (morske) soli.

U ulogama najboljih sredovječnih prijateljica-razvedenica u šos hlačama, odlučnih izaći iz zone komfora u Nebraski i poći u Vista Del Mar da povrate bezbrižan duh mladosti koji je izblijedio, Wiig i Mumolo projiciraju prilično zaraznu energiju, imaju precizan komični tajming i interne fore pretvaraju u eksterne, ne gubeći iz vida osjećaj pravog prijateljstva između njih i njihovih likova.

Mogao je ovo biti "vanity project" s bazama kakve samo njih dvije kuže, ali srećom nije. Mogle su, također, Barb i Star ispasti karikature, no glumice ih odbijaju pretvoriti u takvo što, nevisno o njihovoj razludi na ekranu, tipa kad se razbacaju na plesnom podiju na klupski remiks "Titanicove" himne "My Heart Will Go On".

Karikatura je eventualno "bondovska" negativka Sharon Gordon Fisherman, stacionirana u misterioznom podzemnom skrovištu, koju tumači gotovo neprepoznatljiva Wiig, spremna za ulogu u "Austinu Powersu 4" prelamajući Bond-zlikovca preko imidža Cate Blanchett i Tilde Swinton, moguće i Lady Gage.

No, to je svjesno napravljeno i primjereno je filmu, odnosno njezinu liku sa zlikovačkim izjavama tipa "Nitko me ne može zaustaviti", a čak i ona ima (pod)priču daleko od karikaturalne. Ova komedija mari za likove, od titularnih prijateljica do Edgara Pagéta (Jamie Dornan), pomoćnika negativke u koju je on zaljubljen, a u njega će se zaljubiti Barb i, posebice, Star.

Dok Edgar postaje razapet između dvije Wiig, negativke i pozitivke, Dornan je, neočekivano, pripravan za blesiranje zajedno s dvije iskusne komičarke, pjevanje i plesanje na pijesku među palmama. "Barb i Star" zaslužuju preporuku već samo zato što su uspjele opustiti glumca nakon ukočene izvedbe u "Pedeset nijansi sive".
