"Koji je tvoj pravi identitet?" – "Belle" (2021.)

Serija ovogodišnjih hollywoodskih crtića u hrvatskim kinima kao što su "Crvena panda", "Svjetlosni", "Loši momci" i "Malci 2" nakratko je prekinuta jednim japanskim animiranim filmom – "Belle: Zmaj i pjegava princeza" (engleski "Belle: The Dragon And The Freckled Princess", izvorno "Ryû to sobakasu no hime").

Nije to bilo koji japanski animirani film, već novi projekt režisera-animatora Mamorua Hosode, sve dostojnijeg nasljednika velikog Hayaoa Miyazakija, koji je premijeru doživio na Animafestu prije početka kinodistribucije. Hosoda je skrenuo pozornost na sebe odličnom animacijom "Djeca-vukovi", a nominiran je za Oscara za još bolji "Mirai".

"Belle" je negdje između ova dva filma, svakako još jedan impresivan Japančev uradak o odnosima roditelja i djece te odrastanju na razmeđu zbilje i fantazije, svojevrsna "Ljepotica i zvijer" iz virtualnog svijeta.

Fantazija je, tako, ovdje nikad veća i aktualnija (Facebookov Meta-verse).

"Dobrodošli u svijet 'U', ultimativnu virtualnu zajednicu", uvodi nas Hosoda u futurističku zbilju filma koja nije daleko od sadašnjice. U tom svijetu, razmjerno nalik onome iz "Ready Player One", ljudi imaju avatare po principu "druga stvarnost, drugi ti".

Zahvaljujući "body sharing" tehnologiji, tu možeš biti prava verzija sebe "iznutra", ali izgledati drukčije "prema van". Protagonistica filma Suzu je povučena tinejdžerica, u školi je malo tko primjećuje i otuđila se od oca. Voljela je pjevati, ali izgubila je glas nakon smrti majke; mama joj je poginula kad je ona bila mala, spašavajući djevojčicu iz rijeke.

"Ušla je u rijeku za stranca i ostavila me", govori traumatizirana Suzu koja zaboravlja na sve to kad pobjegne u svijet "U" gdje "tehnologija otkriva skrivenog tebe". Ondje Suzu pronalazi svoj glas i postaje popularna glazbena zvijezda, prekrasna Belle, koja u virtualnoj zajednici drži koncerte.

Možda Belle ne bi bila tako lijepa da Suzu nije kreirala svoj profil prema fotografiji na kojoj je sa njom bila i najatraktivnija djevojka u školi Ruka. Romantični zaplet započinje kad Suzu/Belle u "U" svijetu upozna izranjavanog monstruma nalik čovjekolikom zmaju koji prekida njezin koncert i odluči mu pomoći kad shvati da on agresijom skriva unutarnje boli svog "vanjskog" avatara, pri čemu bi usput mogla pomoći i samoj sebi u stvarnom svijetu, otkriti svoje pravo "ja" i njegovo pravo "ti".

"Zmaj i pjegava princeza" funkcionira kao britka kritika virtualnih persona (živjeti kao "drugi ti") i internetske slave. Film govori o otkrivanju pravih identiteta i oslikava nijanse između pravih i lažnih svjetova, te pojmova lijepo i zvjersko, rekreirajući Disneyjev "Beauty and the Beast" za virtualnu eru, uključujući i onomad kamerno revolucionarnu sekvenciju plesa koja se sada pleše u zraku. Animacija je pogođeno različita i kontrastna u scenama iz stvarnog i digitalnog "U" svijeta.

Kad se priča odvija u "U", "Belle" postaje audiovizualni kinospektakl ekvivalentan svemu što dolazi iz Hollywooda, pa i impresivniji, s pjesmama dostojnima "Snježnog kraljevstva" i nekima od najljepših animiranih prizora proteklih godina, s plutajućim kitovima na nebeskim visinama i oceanom melodija i suza isplakanih na virtualnim koncertima.

Ne iznenađuje podatak da je na "Belle" surađivao Disneyjev animator Jin Kim ("Vrlo zapetljana priča"). Kim je Suzu pretvorio u virtualno-stvarnu "diznijevsku" princezu koja dopire do publike kad unutarnju snagu pretvori u vanjsku i pokaže svoje pravo "ja".

Mamoru Hosoda je poznat po tome da smatra kako se osobnost animatora reflektira u njihovoj animaciji, "gotovo kao da sagledavate osobu dok gledate film".

"Koji je tvoj pravi identitet?" – "Belle" (2021.)

Serija ovogodišnjih hollywoodskih crtića u hrvatskim kinima kao što su "Crvena panda", "Svjetlosni", "Loši momci" i "Malci 2" nakratko je prekinuta jednim japanskim animiranim filmom – "Belle: Zmaj i pjegava princeza" (engleski "Belle: The Dragon And The Freckled Princess", izvorno "Ryû to sobakasu no hime").

Nije to bilo koji japanski animirani film, već novi projekt režisera-animatora Mamorua Hosode, sve dostojnijeg nasljednika velikog Hayaoa Miyazakija, koji je premijeru doživio na Animafestu prije početka kinodistribucije. Hosoda je skrenuo pozornost na sebe odličnom animacijom "Djeca-vukovi", a nominiran je za Oscara za još bolji "Mirai".

"Belle" je negdje između ova dva filma, svakako još jedan impresivan Japančev uradak o odnosima roditelja i djece te odrastanju na razmeđu zbilje i fantazije, svojevrsna "Ljepotica i zvijer" iz virtualnog svijeta.

Fantazija je, tako, ovdje nikad veća i aktualnija (Facebookov Meta-verse).

"Dobrodošli u svijet 'U', ultimativnu virtualnu zajednicu", uvodi nas Hosoda u futurističku zbilju filma koja nije daleko od sadašnjice. U tom svijetu, razmjerno nalik onome iz "Ready Player One", ljudi imaju avatare po principu "druga stvarnost, drugi ti".

Zahvaljujući "body sharing" tehnologiji, tu možeš biti prava verzija sebe "iznutra", ali izgledati drukčije "prema van". Protagonistica filma Suzu je povučena tinejdžerica, u školi je malo tko primjećuje i otuđila se od oca. Voljela je pjevati, ali izgubila je glas nakon smrti majke; mama joj je poginula kad je ona bila mala, spašavajući djevojčicu iz rijeke.

"Ušla je u rijeku za stranca i ostavila me", govori traumatizirana Suzu koja zaboravlja na sve to kad pobjegne u svijet "U" gdje "tehnologija otkriva skrivenog tebe". Ondje Suzu pronalazi svoj glas i postaje popularna glazbena zvijezda, prekrasna Belle, koja u virtualnoj zajednici drži koncerte.

Možda Belle ne bi bila tako lijepa da Suzu nije kreirala svoj profil prema fotografiji na kojoj je sa njom bila i najatraktivnija djevojka u školi Ruka. Romantični zaplet započinje kad Suzu/Belle u "U" svijetu upozna izranjavanog monstruma nalik čovjekolikom zmaju koji prekida njezin koncert i odluči mu pomoći kad shvati da on agresijom skriva unutarnje boli svog "vanjskog" avatara, pri čemu bi usput mogla pomoći i samoj sebi u stvarnom svijetu, otkriti svoje pravo "ja" i njegovo pravo "ti".

"Zmaj i pjegava princeza" funkcionira kao britka kritika virtualnih persona (živjeti kao "drugi ti") i internetske slave. Film govori o otkrivanju pravih identiteta i oslikava nijanse između pravih i lažnih svjetova, te pojmova lijepo i zvjersko, rekreirajući Disneyjev "Beauty and the Beast" za virtualnu eru, uključujući i onomad kamerno revolucionarnu sekvenciju plesa koja se sada pleše u zraku. Animacija je pogođeno različita i kontrastna u scenama iz stvarnog i digitalnog "U" svijeta.

Kad se priča odvija u "U", "Belle" postaje audiovizualni kinospektakl ekvivalentan svemu što dolazi iz Hollywooda, pa i impresivniji, s pjesmama dostojnima "Snježnog kraljevstva" i nekima od najljepših animiranih prizora proteklih godina, s plutajućim kitovima na nebeskim visinama i oceanom melodija i suza isplakanih na virtualnim koncertima.

Ne iznenađuje podatak da je na "Belle" surađivao Disneyjev animator Jin Kim ("Vrlo zapetljana priča"). Kim je Suzu pretvorio u virtualno-stvarnu "diznijevsku" princezu koja dopire do publike kad unutarnju snagu pretvori u vanjsku i pokaže svoje pravo "ja".

Mamoru Hosoda je poznat po tome da smatra kako se osobnost animatora reflektira u njihovoj animaciji, "gotovo kao da sagledavate osobu dok gledate film".
