Turski film za početak 14. FMFS-a. Turski film pred kraj 14. FMFS-a. Ovogodišnji Festival mediteranskog filma Split otvorio je "Još jedan dah", a u finišu FMFS-a gledamo i "Bratova čuvara". Drugi turski film bolji je od prvoga i ponajbolji FMFS-ovac 2021., trenutni osobni favorit iza malteškog bisera "Luzzu".

"Bratov čuvar" ("Okul Tiraşi"/"Brother's Keeper") ima i bolji pedigre od prethodnika: premijerno je prikazan na filmskom festivalu u Berlinu, u sekciji Panorama. To je prvi film kurdskog redatelja Ferita Karahana na Berlinaleu. Dok nas je film otvaranja odveo na ulice turske prijestolnice, "Bratov čuvar" odvodi gledatelja na istok Turske, u planine istočne Anatolije, te kuca na vrata tamošnjeg internata za kurdske dječake.

Yusuf i Memo (dojmljive debitantske dječje uloge napose Sameta Yildiza, ali i Nurullaha Alace) učenici su tog internata obavijena snijegom. "Ovdje sniježi pola godine", kaže netko i precizira temperaturu od -15 stupnjeva. Hladno je i hladnoća dopire s ove strane ekrana zahvaljujući preciznoj fotografiji (Türksoy Gölebeyi), toliko da gledatelju dođe da se ugrije uz pijuckanje vrućeg čaja, pa makar je ljeto.

Na tako studenu temperaturu definitivno nije uputno kupanje s hladnom vodom, posebice kad zakaže grijanje zbog smrznutih cijevi, a upravo to za kaznu dobivaju neki momčići kako bi se sankcionirala njihova svađa oko sapuna. Jedan od njih je i Memo kojemu će najbolji prijatelj Yusuf pružiti ručnik utjehe.

U represivnom internatu vladaju stroga pravila i samo što turski učitelji ne nose štapove da udaraju djecu koja se skromno hrane i kupaju jednom tjedno. Nema štapova, ali ima šamara i rado se dijele, kao da će to riješiti sve probleme u kakvima internat grca. Nevinost djetinjstva prekriva debeli snijeg.

Redatelj suptilno staje na stranu učenika prema kojima pokazuje toplinu dok učitelje snima s distancije u filmu čija radnja starta kad Memo jutro nakon kupanja hladnom vodom prijavi Yusufu da se ne osjeća dobro. Malac nema snage i jedva se kreće, boli ga glava, u jednom trenutku i povrati.

Učitelji isprve odmahuju rukom, misle da mu nije ništa posebno i pošalju ga u kvazi-ambulantu ("sick room") u sklopu internata, gdje će dobiti aspirin i to je to. Proći će dugo vremena dok se vodstvo internata uvjeri da je situacija ozbiljna i da klincu, kojemu je gore iz sata u sat, treba liječnik, medicinska pomoć.

A kad im to napokon dođe do glave, snijeg sve snažnije pada i zaprijeti snježnom olujom s kojom se voditelji internata nisu sposobni nositi i koja bi mogla utjecati da bude još odsječeniji od svijeta. Internat nije pokriven signalom za mobitel i može se naći na rijetkim mjestima, primjerice uz prozor ambulante, i to samo ako se onaj tko želi ostvariti poziv popenje na stolicu.

Svakom minutom filma sve je jasnije da je nastao u koprodukciji s Rumunjskom. "Brother's Keeper" je turski film na rumunjski način. Prepoznatljivi crni humor iz "novovalovskih" rumunjskih filmova vrije ispod snježnobijele površine drame i otapa led.

Malo po malo internat postaje teatar apsurda, ali redatelj ne odlazi u krajnost u tom smjeru da se previše odmakne od centralne situacije, odnosno da drama izgubi snagu, a propupali triler tenziju (postupno se otkriva što se zapravo dogodilo s Memom nakon kupanja i prije buđenja).

No, da satira filma ubada žestoko – ubada. Ponavljajući verbalni geg filma postaje rečenica "Ali, on nema temperaturu..." koju izgovara svatko tko uđe u kvazi-ambulantu i položi ruku na čelo nesretnog Meme. Ulazak u kvazi-ambulantu je i klizav i svatko će proklizati i hvatati se za kvaku vrata da ne padne.

Nitko ne poduzima ništa po tom pitanju dok netko od njih ne padne i razbije se. Kritika institucionalnog sistema, birokracije i administracije počinje kipjeti poput ekspres-lonca kad vodeći ljudi internata traže žrtvenog janjca i krenu s prebacivanjem odgovornosti i(li) krivnje dok život djeteta visi o niti, preko čega redatelj prelama i povijesnu krivnju Turaka zbog Kurda. "Rugao se lonac loncu, a oba su crna"? Svi su crni, ne oba.

Turski film za početak 14. FMFS-a. Turski film pred kraj 14. FMFS-a. Ovogodišnji Festival mediteranskog filma Split otvorio je "Još jedan dah", a u finišu FMFS-a gledamo i "Bratova čuvara". Drugi turski film bolji je od prvoga i ponajbolji FMFS-ovac 2021., trenutni osobni favorit iza malteškog bisera "Luzzu".

"Bratov čuvar" ("Okul Tiraşi"/"Brother's Keeper") ima i bolji pedigre od prethodnika: premijerno je prikazan na filmskom festivalu u Berlinu, u sekciji Panorama. To je prvi film kurdskog redatelja Ferita Karahana na Berlinaleu. Dok nas je film otvaranja odveo na ulice turske prijestolnice, "Bratov čuvar" odvodi gledatelja na istok Turske, u planine istočne Anatolije, te kuca na vrata tamošnjeg internata za kurdske dječake.

Yusuf i Memo (dojmljive debitantske dječje uloge napose Sameta Yildiza, ali i Nurullaha Alace) učenici su tog internata obavijena snijegom. "Ovdje sniježi pola godine", kaže netko i precizira temperaturu od -15 stupnjeva. Hladno je i hladnoća dopire s ove strane ekrana zahvaljujući preciznoj fotografiji (Türksoy Gölebeyi), toliko da gledatelju dođe da se ugrije uz pijuckanje vrućeg čaja, pa makar je ljeto.

Na tako studenu temperaturu definitivno nije uputno kupanje s hladnom vodom, posebice kad zakaže grijanje zbog smrznutih cijevi, a upravo to za kaznu dobivaju neki momčići kako bi se sankcionirala njihova svađa oko sapuna. Jedan od njih je i Memo kojemu će najbolji prijatelj Yusuf pružiti ručnik utjehe.

U represivnom internatu vladaju stroga pravila i samo što turski učitelji ne nose štapove da udaraju djecu koja se skromno hrane i kupaju jednom tjedno. Nema štapova, ali ima šamara i rado se dijele, kao da će to riješiti sve probleme u kakvima internat grca. Nevinost djetinjstva prekriva debeli snijeg.

Redatelj suptilno staje na stranu učenika prema kojima pokazuje toplinu dok učitelje snima s distancije u filmu čija radnja starta kad Memo jutro nakon kupanja hladnom vodom prijavi Yusufu da se ne osjeća dobro. Malac nema snage i jedva se kreće, boli ga glava, u jednom trenutku i povrati.

Učitelji isprve odmahuju rukom, misle da mu nije ništa posebno i pošalju ga u kvazi-ambulantu ("sick room") u sklopu internata, gdje će dobiti aspirin i to je to. Proći će dugo vremena dok se vodstvo internata uvjeri da je situacija ozbiljna i da klincu, kojemu je gore iz sata u sat, treba liječnik, medicinska pomoć.

A kad im to napokon dođe do glave, snijeg sve snažnije pada i zaprijeti snježnom olujom s kojom se voditelji internata nisu sposobni nositi i koja bi mogla utjecati da bude još odsječeniji od svijeta. Internat nije pokriven signalom za mobitel i može se naći na rijetkim mjestima, primjerice uz prozor ambulante, i to samo ako se onaj tko želi ostvariti poziv popenje na stolicu.

Svakom minutom filma sve je jasnije da je nastao u koprodukciji s Rumunjskom. "Brother's Keeper" je turski film na rumunjski način. Prepoznatljivi crni humor iz "novovalovskih" rumunjskih filmova vrije ispod snježnobijele površine drame i otapa led.

Malo po malo internat postaje teatar apsurda, ali redatelj ne odlazi u krajnost u tom smjeru da se previše odmakne od centralne situacije, odnosno da drama izgubi snagu, a propupali triler tenziju (postupno se otkriva što se zapravo dogodilo s Memom nakon kupanja i prije buđenja).

No, da satira filma ubada žestoko – ubada. Ponavljajući verbalni geg filma postaje rečenica "Ali, on nema temperaturu..." koju izgovara svatko tko uđe u kvazi-ambulantu i položi ruku na čelo nesretnog Meme. Ulazak u kvazi-ambulantu je i klizav i svatko će proklizati i hvatati se za kvaku vrata da ne padne.

Nitko ne poduzima ništa po tom pitanju dok netko od njih ne padne i razbije se. Kritika institucionalnog sistema, birokracije i administracije počinje kipjeti poput ekspres-lonca kad vodeći ljudi internata traže žrtvenog janjca i krenu s prebacivanjem odgovornosti i(li) krivnje dok život djeteta visi o niti, preko čega redatelj prelama i povijesnu krivnju Turaka zbog Kurda. "Rugao se lonac loncu, a oba su crna"? Svi su crni, ne oba.

‘Bratov čuvar‘: Turski film na rumunjski način

Turski film za početak 14. FMFS-a. Turski film pred kraj 14. FMFS-a. Ovogodišnji Festival mediteranskog filma Split otvorio je "Još jedan dah", a u finišu FMFS-a gledamo i "Bratova čuvara". Drugi turski film bolji je od prvoga i ponajbolji FMFS-ovac 2021., trenutni osobni favorit iza malteškog bisera "Luzzu".

"Bratov čuvar" ("Okul Tiraşi"/"Brother's Keeper") ima i bolji pedigre od prethodnika: premijerno je prikazan na filmskom festivalu u Berlinu, u sekciji Panorama. To je prvi film kurdskog redatelja Ferita Karahana na Berlinaleu. Dok nas je film otvaranja odveo na ulice turske prijestolnice, "Bratov čuvar" odvodi gledatelja na istok Turske, u planine istočne Anatolije, te kuca na vrata tamošnjeg internata za kurdske dječake.
