Netflixova trilerska serija "Ako me prevariš"/"Fool Me Once" još uvijek se nalazi među pet najgledanijih na tom streaming servisu.
"Ako me prevariš" je na dobrom putu da postane jedna od najpopularnijih Netflixovih serija uopće i uđe barem na neku "širu" listu gledanosti svih vremena, ako ne i top-ten. Kad je to mogao prošlogodišnji "Noćni agent", zašto ne, jer stječe se dojam da je ovo još popularnija serija, ili je to bar u Hrvatskoj.

---Čini se da je Netflix pogodio s tajmingom, pustivši "Fool Me Once" odmah nakon Nove godine, kad često vlada suša u ponudi i ljudi će konzumirati bilo što novo da ubiju vrijeme i razbiju "depresivni" siječanj, a i lako ih je, još mamurne od dočeka, prevariti jednom, dvaput i triput ako treba.

Naravno, u uhu zvoni i ime bestselerskog pisca Harlana Cobena, prema čijem je romanu serija utemeljena, iako Netflixove serijske ekranizacije njegovih predložaka variraju u kvaliteti ("The Stranger", "Safe", "Stay Close"; dosad su najbolje španjolska "Nevini" i poljska "U šumi").
Mamac za gledanje je i potentna trilerska premisa koja uspijeva upecati gledatelja na "Ako me prevariš". Bivša vojnikinja Maya Stern (Michelle Keegan; "Naša djevojka") pokopala je sestru Claire (Natalie Anderson) i supruga Joea (Richard Armitage; "Hobit", "Oluja stoljeća", "Opsesija, ljubav, ljubomora") u rasponu od svega par mjeseci.
Sestra joj je stradala u naizglednoj provali, a supruga su joj ubili pred očima. Kad što, nedugo nakon što je izgubila muža, "ljubav života", tj. njegovog sprovoda, udovica s djetetom Maya ugledat će Joea na tajnoj kameri dadilje, tzv. nanny cam, kako se igra s njihovom kćerkom. Joe djeluje živi i zdrav na snimci.

---Je li se Mayi pričinja jer "tuga zna imati svakakve učinke na čovjeka"? Je li Joe stvarno mrtav ili je možda lažirao svoju smrt? Ima li s time kakve veze njegova majka Judith Burkett (legendarna Joanna Lumley) koja je identificirala sinovo tijelo u bolnici?
Maya nije nikad vidjela njegovo tijelo, a netko je slijedi u automobilu. Klupko misterije se intrigantno zapliće, a isprepletanje sadašnjosti i flešbekova prošlosti s Joeom čini da gledatelj pomisli kao da je stvarno živ.
Pasivni gledatelj postaje aktivan detektiv (jesu li "ubojstva povezana"?), ali svakom idućom epizodom, na koju ga se "navlači" završetkom prethodne, zaplet je evidentno sve tanji zahvaljujući repetitivnim podzapletima i obratima, a uključuju jeftine psihološke igre i tipične urotničke motive poput mračnih tajni iz prošlosti aktera koje otkriva Maya, bolesni detektiv Samie Kierce (Adeel Akhtar; "Killing Eve", "Enola Holmes 2", "Murder Mystery 2"), sumnjičav prema njoj, ili netko treći.

I likovi su prilično tanki, počevši od Maye koja izgleda kao (bivši) model, ne ex-vojnikinja, a Keegaan mahom tako i glumi. "Fool Me Once" u konačnici ispada jedna od onih serija koja se brzo gleda i još brže zaboravlja.
Fama oko "Ako me prevariš" podsjeća na tri godine star "hype" u vezi Netflixove serije "Ne vjeruj svojim očima". No, postoji bitna razlika. "Behind Her Eyes" je bolja serija od "Fool Me Once".

Naravno, u uhu zvoni i ime bestselerskog pisca Harlana Cobena, prema čijem je romanu serija utemeljena, iako Netflixove serijske ekranizacije njegovih predložaka variraju u kvaliteti ("The Stranger", "Safe", "Stay Close"; dosad su najbolje španjolska "Nevini" i poljska "U šumi").
Mamac za gledanje je i potentna trilerska premisa koja uspijeva upecati gledatelja na "Ako me prevariš". Bivša vojnikinja Maya Stern (Michelle Keegan; "Naša djevojka") pokopala je sestru Claire (Natalie Anderson) i supruga Joea (Richard Armitage; "Hobit", "Oluja stoljeća", "Opsesija, ljubav, ljubomora") u rasponu od svega par mjeseci.
Sestra joj je stradala u naizglednoj provali, a supruga su joj ubili pred očima. Kad što, nedugo nakon što je izgubila muža, "ljubav života", tj. njegovog sprovoda, udovica s djetetom Maya ugledat će Joea na tajnoj kameri dadilje, tzv. nanny cam, kako se igra s njihovom kćerkom. Joe djeluje živi i zdrav na snimci.

Pasivni gledatelj postaje aktivan detektiv (jesu li "ubojstva povezana"?), ali svakom idućom epizodom, na koju ga se "navlači" završetkom prethodne, zaplet je evidentno sve tanji zahvaljujući repetitivnim podzapletima i obratima, a uključuju jeftine psihološke igre i tipične urotničke motive poput mračnih tajni iz prošlosti aktera koje otkriva Maya, bolesni detektiv Samie Kierce (Adeel Akhtar; "Killing Eve", "Enola Holmes 2", "Murder Mystery 2"), sumnjičav prema njoj, ili netko treći.

I likovi su prilično tanki, počevši od Maye koja izgleda kao (bivši) model, ne ex-vojnikinja, a Keegaan mahom tako i glumi. "Fool Me Once" u konačnici ispada jedna od onih serija koja se brzo gleda i još brže zaboravlja.
