Visokih devet nominacija za prestižnu nagradu Goya, španjolski ekvivalent Oscaru, zabilježila je povijesna hororska drama "Savez sestara" ("Akelarre") režisera i koscenarista Pabla Agüera. Od tih devet nominacija film je na koncu potvrdio pet, i to "sporednih", "tehničkih", za specijalne efekte, scenografiju, kostimografiju, glazbu i masku.

To je, svejedno, bolja brojka u odnosu na četiri Goye koje su osvojile "Djevojčice" i "Adu", domininantni naslovi na dodjeli nagrada u najvažnijim kategorijama. "Savez sestara" se može pohvaliti i da je postao globalni hit na Netflixu, veći od "Adu", drame s najviše nominacija za Goye (14).

Hitoidnost je zaslužena: "Akellare" je jedan od kvalitetnijih novijih filmova iz trenutne Netflixove ponude, svakako među intrigantnijima, s jednom od najboljih uloga neke mlade glumice u španjolskoj kinematografiji posljednje vrijeme (Amaia Aberasturi, nominirana za Goyu).

Agüero vraća gledatelje u doba španjolske inkvizicije, kad je "lov na vještice" bio doslovan, ne politički metaforičan, a fikcionalna priča filma, utemeljena na istinitom pogromu i spaljivanju vještica u Baskijskom kraju 1609. godine, jednom od najbrutalnijih u povijesti, tiče se optužbi na račun mladih djevojaka za vještičje obrede ili sabate ("akelarre") i vještičarenje.

Vatra i palež prekrivaju ekran u prvom kadru, kad tijekom spaljivanja vještica na lomači upoznajemo strogog inkvizitora Rosteguia de Lancrea (Alex Brendemühl), inspiriranog stvarnim likom Pierrea de Lancrea. Doznajemo da je Rostegui obavio 77 spaljivanja sa svojim ljudima diljem Baskijskog kraja.

"Te izopačene vještice izokrenut će poredak svemira", deviza je inkvizitora koji će se iduće okomiti na mlade žene iz malog ribarskog sela. Dok su mukarci iz sela na moru, djevojke su plesale na livadi s osmjehom na licu pod okriljem noći, dakle mora da su zbog tog "nenormalnog" ponašanja vještice. Ana (Aberasturi) i mlade cure bivaju uhićene, zatočene i podvrgnute psihofizičkoj torturi u svrhu iznuđivanja priznanja da su vještice.

"Vještica je netko tko ljudima nanosi zlo", smatraju djevojke i odbijaju priznati nešto što nisu. Ipak, nakon što shvati kako im nema spasa i da će, koliko god poricale, svejedno biti osuđene i pogubljene na lomači, Ana počne govoriti/pokazivati krvožednim inkvizitorima sve "vještičje" što oni žele čuti i vidjeti (zlobni cerek, razvratni položaj nogu, oznaku đavla, copranje...), održavajući sebe i prijateljice duže na životu i planirajući njihov bijeg prije nego ih odvedu na vrh brda, privežu za kolac i spale žive.

Centralni klaustrofobični segment filma potencijalnu hororsku "pornografsku torturu" mijenja za prilično dojmljivu izgradnju psihologizacije između "vještice" i inkvizitora za kojega će Ana i djevojke izvesti vještičji sabat u noći punog mjeseca. Horor je tu, ali on je više psihološke, nego fizičke prirode.

Režiser zaslužuje plus što svakom idućom scenom briše granicu između utvarnog i stvarnog vještičarenja. Naime, Ana i cure frapiraju plastičnim opisima vještičarenja do u tančine i toliko se uživljavaju u ono što inkvizitori misle da jesu, (ulogu) vještice, da će u to gotovo povjerovati i uvjeriti publiku da može pomisliti kako su doista "na đavla".

Jednako kao što Ana usađuje inkvizitoru misli o njihovu vještičarenju, tako i redatelj manipulira mislima gledatelja i uspijeva ga omađijati da više nije siguran u ništa. Premda, ustvari, čini se da mladice samo bude u sebi "vještice" da se obrane od inkvizitorskih vještaca.

U tom procesu one bude "girl power" i afirmiraju pravo za žensku neovisnost, slobodu tijela i govora ponašajući se nesputano, bez dlake na jeziku, u inat religioznom fanatizmu i mizoginičnoj kulturi koje redatelj ne štedi ih u kritici, prelamajući povijest sa sadašnjosti.

Iako nema lijepe riječi za inkviziciju, Agüero je snimio film koji je proganjajuće lijep kao Goyina slika. Pojedini tamni kadrovi izgledaju kao da ih je slikao neki slikar iz približno onog vremena poput Goye, slikajući u mraku osvjetljenom ne samo svijećom, već i vještičjom lomačom.

Alex Brendemühl je napoznatije ime u glumačkoj ekipi, a nedavno smo ga u kinima vidjeli u španjolskom "serial killer" trileru "tišina bijeloga grada".

Visokih devet nominacija za prestižnu nagradu Goya, španjolski ekvivalent Oscaru, zabilježila je povijesna hororska drama "Savez sestara" ("Akelarre") režisera i koscenarista Pabla Agüera. Od tih devet nominacija film je na koncu potvrdio pet, i to "sporednih", "tehničkih", za specijalne efekte, scenografiju, kostimografiju, glazbu i masku.

To je, svejedno, bolja brojka u odnosu na četiri Goye koje su osvojile "Djevojčice" i "Adu", domininantni naslovi na dodjeli nagrada u najvažnijim kategorijama. "Savez sestara" se može pohvaliti i da je postao globalni hit na Netflixu, veći od "Adu", drame s najviše nominacija za Goye (14).

Hitoidnost je zaslužena: "Akellare" je jedan od kvalitetnijih novijih filmova iz trenutne Netflixove ponude, svakako među intrigantnijima, s jednom od najboljih uloga neke mlade glumice u španjolskoj kinematografiji posljednje vrijeme (Amaia Aberasturi, nominirana za Goyu).

Agüero vraća gledatelje u doba španjolske inkvizicije, kad je "lov na vještice" bio doslovan, ne politički metaforičan, a fikcionalna priča filma, utemeljena na istinitom pogromu i spaljivanju vještica u Baskijskom kraju 1609. godine, jednom od najbrutalnijih u povijesti, tiče se optužbi na račun mladih djevojaka za vještičje obrede ili sabate ("akelarre") i vještičarenje.

Vatra i palež prekrivaju ekran u prvom kadru, kad tijekom spaljivanja vještica na lomači upoznajemo strogog inkvizitora Rosteguia de Lancrea (Alex Brendemühl), inspiriranog stvarnim likom Pierrea de Lancrea. Doznajemo da je Rostegui obavio 77 spaljivanja sa svojim ljudima diljem Baskijskog kraja.

"Te izopačene vještice izokrenut će poredak svemira", deviza je inkvizitora koji će se iduće okomiti na mlade žene iz malog ribarskog sela. Dok su mukarci iz sela na moru, djevojke su plesale na livadi s osmjehom na licu pod okriljem noći, dakle mora da su zbog tog "nenormalnog" ponašanja vještice. Ana (Aberasturi) i mlade cure bivaju uhićene, zatočene i podvrgnute psihofizičkoj torturi u svrhu iznuđivanja priznanja da su vještice.

"Vještica je netko tko ljudima nanosi zlo", smatraju djevojke i odbijaju priznati nešto što nisu. Ipak, nakon što shvati kako im nema spasa i da će, koliko god poricale, svejedno biti osuđene i pogubljene na lomači, Ana počne govoriti/pokazivati krvožednim inkvizitorima sve "vještičje" što oni žele čuti i vidjeti (zlobni cerek, razvratni položaj nogu, oznaku đavla, copranje...), održavajući sebe i prijateljice duže na životu i planirajući njihov bijeg prije nego ih odvedu na vrh brda, privežu za kolac i spale žive.

Centralni klaustrofobični segment filma potencijalnu hororsku "pornografsku torturu" mijenja za prilično dojmljivu izgradnju psihologizacije između "vještice" i inkvizitora za kojega će Ana i djevojke izvesti vještičji sabat u noći punog mjeseca. Horor je tu, ali on je više psihološke, nego fizičke prirode.

Režiser zaslužuje plus što svakom idućom scenom briše granicu između utvarnog i stvarnog vještičarenja. Naime, Ana i cure frapiraju plastičnim opisima vještičarenja do u tančine i toliko se uživljavaju u ono što inkvizitori misle da jesu, (ulogu) vještice, da će u to gotovo povjerovati i uvjeriti publiku da može pomisliti kako su doista "na đavla".

Jednako kao što Ana usađuje inkvizitoru misli o njihovu vještičarenju, tako i redatelj manipulira mislima gledatelja i uspijeva ga omađijati da više nije siguran u ništa. Premda, ustvari, čini se da mladice samo bude u sebi "vještice" da se obrane od inkvizitorskih vještaca.

U tom procesu one bude "girl power" i afirmiraju pravo za žensku neovisnost, slobodu tijela i govora ponašajući se nesputano, bez dlake na jeziku, u inat religioznom fanatizmu i mizoginičnoj kulturi koje redatelj ne štedi ih u kritici, prelamajući povijest sa sadašnjosti.

Iako nema lijepe riječi za inkviziciju, Agüero je snimio film koji je proganjajuće lijep kao Goyina slika. Pojedini tamni kadrovi izgledaju kao da ih je slikao neki slikar iz približno onog vremena poput Goye, slikajući u mraku osvjetljenom ne samo svijećom, već i vještičjom lomačom.
