U dubokoj starosti, u 97. godini života, preminula je književnica i novinarka Anđelka Martić. Njezino prilično "obično" i neupečatljivo ime i prezime nekada je bilo poznato svakom osnovnoškolcu.

Knjige su joj bile na popisu obavezne lektire, po školskim se klupama povlačio dječji časopis "Radost", koji je uređivala, a uz to se u životu naputovala toliko koliko u svojem sirotinjskom djetinjstvu na Trešnjevci nije mogla ni sanjati. Desetljećima je gostovala po školama i upoznavala djecu, za koju je mahom i pisala. Danas će malo koje dijete znati za nju ako mu sentimentalni roditelji nisu baš gurnuli u ruke neku njezinu knjigu ili pročitali priču.

Devedesetih je Anđelka Martić nestala iz biblioteka. Izbrisana je, učinjena nevidljivom. Pripadala je bivšem sustavu, koji ju je bez sumnje podržavao, bila je u partizanima i to je bilo dovoljno. Poslije je odnos prema njoj malo omekšao, stigla je još poneka nagrada i priznanje, ali i vrijeme je učinilo svoje. Nove generacije ostale su prikraćene za njezine knjige u kojima nema ni zla ni velikog politiziranja, naprotiv: ima jednostavnosti, poštenja, ljubavi.

Najpoznatiji njezin roman za djecu, "Pirgo", priča o ljubavi dječaka i laneta u vihoru Drugog svjetskog rata, ne bi se toliko čitao da je jednostavno nametnut odlukom iz kakvog komiteta – djeca su voljela tu knjigu. Doživjela je više od 40 izdanja na hrvatskom jeziku, a prevedena je na slovenski, makedonski, bugarski, poljski, mađarski, češki, esperanto, talijanski, albanski, ruski, kineski i farski.

KNJIGE KAO SVETINJA

Bitan dio njezina opusa – uz bajke i slikovnice – činile su predratne priče iz djetinjstva, dijelom smještene u Zagreb, u doba kada je Trešnjevka bila siromašno predgrađe nalik na selo, i u samo zagorsko selo, gdje je književnica s bratom i sestrom provodila ljeta kod djeda i bake.

Posebna je vrijednost ovih priča u tome što jesu sentimentalne, ali nipošto sladunjave i plačljive. Martićevi su bili crna sirotinja; književnica je bosa odlazila u školu jer su cipele bile nedostižne. Majka, mlada i boležljiva udovica, prala je tuđa stubišta i rublje. I kruha je nedostajalo.

Književnica ne taji žarku mladenačku želju za lutkom koju nije imala, za novim cipelicama ili svilenom vrpcom za kosu kakve su imale neke djevojčice (kakve sitnice i banalnosti, pomislili bismo danas), ali ta je želja posve lišena niske zavisti. Prilagodljiva, žilava mladost instinktivno se zna obraniti od poniženja i nalazi ispunjenje u igri, prijateljstvu, u prirodi i obiteljskoj ljubavi.

Anđelka Martić, dijete jednog davnog vremena, dobila je niz nagrada i priznanja, a najdraži joj je bio Orden smijeha, jedinstveno odlikovanje koje Republika Poljska u ime djece Poljske dodjeljuje ljudima posebno zaslužnima za njihovo vedrije i ljepše djetinjstvo.

Žalila je kada su njezine knjige skinute s polica. Morala ju je boljeti ta nepravda, ali boso ju je djetinjstvo odavno očvrsnulo. U zenitu života, u vrijeme uspjeha i priznanja, naglašavala je, nije dala da se njezina djeca ičim ističu. Prošla je rat, a govorila je da je beskrajno sretna što u tom ratu nije nikoga ubila. A knjige su za nju bile svetinja, do zadnjeg dana.

U dubokoj starosti, u 97. godini života, preminula je književnica i novinarka Anđelka Martić. Njezino prilično "obično" i neupečatljivo ime i prezime nekada je bilo poznato svakom osnovnoškolcu.

Knjige su joj bile na popisu obavezne lektire, po školskim se klupama povlačio dječji časopis "Radost", koji je uređivala, a uz to se u životu naputovala toliko koliko u svojem sirotinjskom djetinjstvu na Trešnjevci nije mogla ni sanjati. Desetljećima je gostovala po školama i upoznavala djecu, za koju je mahom i pisala. Danas će malo koje dijete znati za nju ako mu sentimentalni roditelji nisu baš gurnuli u ruke neku njezinu knjigu ili pročitali priču.

Devedesetih je Anđelka Martić nestala iz biblioteka. Izbrisana je, učinjena nevidljivom. Pripadala je bivšem sustavu, koji ju je bez sumnje podržavao, bila je u partizanima i to je bilo dovoljno. Poslije je odnos prema njoj malo omekšao, stigla je još poneka nagrada i priznanje, ali i vrijeme je učinilo svoje. Nove generacije ostale su prikraćene za njezine knjige u kojima nema ni zla ni velikog politiziranja, naprotiv: ima jednostavnosti, poštenja, ljubavi.

Najpoznatiji njezin roman za djecu, "Pirgo", priča o ljubavi dječaka i laneta u vihoru Drugog svjetskog rata, ne bi se toliko čitao da je jednostavno nametnut odlukom iz kakvog komiteta – djeca su voljela tu knjigu. Doživjela je više od 40 izdanja na hrvatskom jeziku, a prevedena je na slovenski, makedonski, bugarski, poljski, mađarski, češki, esperanto, talijanski, albanski, ruski, kineski i farski.

KNJIGE KAO SVETINJA

Bitan dio njezina opusa – uz bajke i slikovnice – činile su predratne priče iz djetinjstva, dijelom smještene u Zagreb, u doba kada je Trešnjevka bila siromašno predgrađe nalik na selo, i u samo zagorsko selo, gdje je književnica s bratom i sestrom provodila ljeta kod djeda i bake.

Posebna je vrijednost ovih priča u tome što jesu sentimentalne, ali nipošto sladunjave i plačljive. Martićevi su bili crna sirotinja; književnica je bosa odlazila u školu jer su cipele bile nedostižne. Majka, mlada i boležljiva udovica, prala je tuđa stubišta i rublje. I kruha je nedostajalo.

Književnica ne taji žarku mladenačku želju za lutkom koju nije imala, za novim cipelicama ili svilenom vrpcom za kosu kakve su imale neke djevojčice (kakve sitnice i banalnosti, pomislili bismo danas), ali ta je želja posve lišena niske zavisti. Prilagodljiva, žilava mladost instinktivno se zna obraniti od poniženja i nalazi ispunjenje u igri, prijateljstvu, u prirodi i obiteljskoj ljubavi.

Anđelka Martić, dijete jednog davnog vremena, dobila je niz nagrada i priznanja, a najdraži joj je bio Orden smijeha, jedinstveno odlikovanje koje Republika Poljska u ime djece Poljske dodjeljuje ljudima posebno zaslužnima za njihovo vedrije i ljepše djetinjstvo.

Žalila je kada su njezine knjige skinute s polica. Morala ju je boljeti ta nepravda, ali boso ju je djetinjstvo odavno očvrsnulo. U zenitu života, u vrijeme uspjeha i priznanja, naglašavala je, nije dala da se njezina djeca ičim ističu. Prošla je rat, a govorila je da je beskrajno sretna što u tom ratu nije nikoga ubila. A knjige su za nju bile svetinja, do zadnjeg dana.
