Britanska garda, punim nazivom The Foot Guards, u britanskoj kopnenoj vojsci naziv je za pet pješačkih pukovnija u sklopu postrojbe zvane The Household Division.

Camilla je imenovana pukovnikom Grenadierove garde. Tu je dužnost posljednji put obnašao Charlesov mlađi brat princ Andrew, koji je izgubio sve vojne činove zbog sudjelovanja u skandalu zlostavljanja Jeffreyja Epsteina. Kate preuzima ulogu "pukovnika irske garde" od svog supruga, nasljednika prijestolja princa Williama, koji će kao princ od Walesa biti "pukovnik velške garde".

Britanska garda tradicionalno sudjeluju u službenoj rođendanskoj paradi "Trooping the Colour" britanskog monarha. Slijedeća će se održati 17. lipnja 2023. prvi put u čast kralja Charlesa III., kako je palača također najavila. Proslava se održava više od 260 godina, ali zbog vremena ne na stvarni rođendan monarha, već u lipnju. Charles slavi 75. rođendan 14. studenog sljedeće godine.

Britanski kralj Charles III. (74) imenovao je svoju suprugu Camillu (75) i snahu Kate (40), časnicima Britanske garde, objavila je londonska Buckinghamska palača. Britanska garda, punim nazivom The Foot Guards, u britanskoj kopnenoj vojsci naziv je za pet pješačkih pukovnija u sklopu postrojbe zvane The Household Division.
Camilla je imenovana pukovnikom Grenadierove garde. Tu je dužnost posljednji put obnašao Charlesov mlađi brat princ Andrew, koji je izgubio sve vojne činove zbog sudjelovanja u skandalu zlostavljanja Jeffreyja Epsteina. Kate preuzima ulogu "pukovnika irske garde" od svog supruga, nasljednika prijestolja princa Williama, koji će kao princ od Walesa biti "pukovnik velške garde".
