Supruga igrača Wrexhama, Anthonyja Fordea, javno je zahvalila glumcu Ryanu Reynoldsu jer joj je pomogao tijekom "noćne more", kad je otkrila da ima tumor na mozgu, piše Daily Mail.

Naime, holivudska zvijezda i vlasnik Wrexhama platio je pregled Lauri i spojio je s vrhunskim neurokirurgom.

Irskom beku Fordeu, naime, čitav se život okrenuo naglavce kada je Lauri sredinom prošle sezone dijagnosticiran tumor na mozgu, za koji se u to vrijeme vjerovalo da je u terminalnoj fazi, prenosi Jutarnji.

Slavni hollywoodski glumac je velikodušno pomogao paru kada je Laura, samo nekoliko tjedana nakon što je rodila njihovo prvo dijete, dobila zastrašujuću vijest.

Laura je počela primjećivati probleme kada je njezino novorođenče bilo staro samo tri dana. Boljela ju je ruka i imala je problema s koordinacijom.

MRI pretragom je otkriven tumor za koji joj je isprva rečeno da nije operabilan, te da je Lauri preostalo još nekoliko mjeseci života.

Nakon Reynoldsove intervencije, par je dobio drugo mišljenje vrhunskog njujorškog neurologa, a Laura je bila podvrgnuta biopsiji, koja je utvrdila da se radi o talamusnom pilocitnom astrocitomu 1. stupnja - benignom tumoru mozga, što je bilo veliko olakšanje nakon početne dijagnoze.

Zbog lokacije tumora nije ga moguće operirati, ali Lauri Forde i svima joj bliskima pao je ogroman teret sa srca.

Laura za The Sunday Times opisala noćnu moru u koju je upala neposredno nakon poroda.

"Prvi neurolog nam je rekao da je tumor neoperabilan i da nemam još mnogo vremena", ispričala je.

"Paddy je imao četiri tjedna i rečeno mi je da možda neću doživjeti da moj sin napuni godinu dana" - iznijela je potresnu ispovijest.

"Dok sam ga noću hranila, planirala sam svoj sprovod. Tiho sam plakala. To je bio najgori period u mom životu. Živa noćna mora. Nakon porođaja sam ionako bila pod utjecajem hormona, a onda se još ovo srušilo na mene. Emocionalno, to je bilo strašno. Trebala sam biti sretna, a prošla sam kroz najgorih sedam tjedana sa svojim tek rođenim djetetom..." - kazivala je Laura Forde, nazivajući Ryana Reynoldsa svoji spasiteljem.

Supruga igrača Wrexhama, Anthonyja Fordea, javno je zahvalila glumcu Ryanu Reynoldsu jer joj je pomogao tijekom "noćne more", kad je otkrila da ima tumor na mozgu, piše Daily Mail.

Naime, holivudska zvijezda i vlasnik Wrexhama platio je pregled Lauri i spojio je s vrhunskim neurokirurgom.

Irskom beku Fordeu, naime, čitav se život okrenuo naglavce kada je Lauri sredinom prošle sezone dijagnosticiran tumor na mozgu, za koji se u to vrijeme vjerovalo da je u terminalnoj fazi, prenosi Jutarnji.

Slavni hollywoodski glumac je velikodušno pomogao paru kada je Laura, samo nekoliko tjedana nakon što je rodila njihovo prvo dijete, dobila zastrašujuću vijest.

Laura je počela primjećivati probleme kada je njezino novorođenče bilo staro samo tri dana. Boljela ju je ruka i imala je problema s koordinacijom.

MRI pretragom je otkriven tumor za koji joj je isprva rečeno da nije operabilan, te da je Lauri preostalo još nekoliko mjeseci života.

Nakon Reynoldsove intervencije, par je dobio drugo mišljenje vrhunskog njujorškog neurologa, a Laura je bila podvrgnuta biopsiji, koja je utvrdila da se radi o talamusnom pilocitnom astrocitomu 1. stupnja - benignom tumoru mozga, što je bilo veliko olakšanje nakon početne dijagnoze.

Zbog lokacije tumora nije ga moguće operirati, ali Lauri Forde i svima joj bliskima pao je ogroman teret sa srca.

Laura za The Sunday Times opisala noćnu moru u koju je upala neposredno nakon poroda.

"Prvi neurolog nam je rekao da je tumor neoperabilan i da nemam još mnogo vremena", ispričala je.

"Paddy je imao četiri tjedna i rečeno mi je da možda neću doživjeti da moj sin napuni godinu dana" - iznijela je potresnu ispovijest.

"Dok sam ga noću hranila, planirala sam svoj sprovod. Tiho sam plakala. To je bio najgori period u mom životu. Živa noćna mora. Nakon porođaja sam ionako bila pod utjecajem hormona, a onda se još ovo srušilo na mene. Emocionalno, to je bilo strašno. Trebala sam biti sretna, a prošla sam kroz najgorih sedam tjedana sa svojim tek rođenim djetetom..." - kazivala je Laura Forde, nazivajući Ryana Reynoldsa svoji spasiteljem.
