Orhideje su profinjene, raskošne, tajanstvene i lijepe. Nakon što je ova tropska kraljica cvijeća, nerijetko zvana noćni leptir, nekoliko mjeseci svojim cvjetovima krasila vaš stan ili kuću, vrijeme je da ju presadite. Iako su orhideje na glasu kao vrlo osjetljive i teške za uzgoj, samo je presađivanje dosta jednostavno. Ako je orhideja svojim cvjetovima krasila vaš dom, vrijeme je da ju presadite uz ove savjete, piše D&D.

SAVJETI PLUS

- Orhideju je važno pravilno održavati. Ako je u cvatu, tada ju je potrebno “zalijevati” jednom tjedno, najbolje ujutro, te svaki drugi tjedan u vodu dodati gnojivo za orhideje. Ako je orhideja u fazi mirovanja “zalijeva” se jednom u dva tjedna i ne dodaje se gnojivo.

- Biljka iziskuje puno svjetla, ali ne smije biti izložena direktno na suncu, naročito tijekom ljetnih mjeseci. Stoga ju je najbolje držati uz prozor, a za vrijeme najvećih vrućina spustiti rolete. Ta im je lokacija stoga draža u hladnijim mjesecima. Iako su najčešće uz prozor, zapamtite, orhideje ne vole propuh.

- Ako je vaša orhideja visoka, teško će se zadržati u uspravnom položaju. Stoga u teglicu, samo pažljivo, zabodite tanji drveni potporanj (debljine kao orhidejina stabljika) i kopčicama za orhideje (koje su nalik na kopčice za kosu, samo nemaju iglice s unutarnje strane) pričvrstite stabljiku biljke za štapić.

SEDAM LAKIH KORAKA

1. Za presađivanje vaše orhideje treba vam mala prozirna plastična posuda s rupicama na dnu (2 kune), veća, cvjetna ukrasna posuda, supstrat, odnosno vodo- propusna zemlja s korom za orhideje (5 litara 14 kuna), i škare za rezanje korijenja. Ako je orhideja u cvatu, trebat će vam i gnojivo za orhideje (14 kuna).

2. Dno prazne plastične posude, koja bi trebala biti prozirna radi kontrole vlage i svjetla za korijenje, a u koju ćete presaditi orhideju, prekrijte supstratom, u debljini nekoliko centimetara. Ne trebate staviti previše zemlje s korom, dovoljno je da se popuni nešto manje od pola posude kako bi korijenje moglo rasti.

3. Sad je vrijeme da svoju orhideju izvadite iz stare posude. Biljku primite za stabljiku i lagano povucite. Dio supstrata past će samo s korijenja, a ostatak pažljivo odstranite rukom. Po potrebi ispod teglice rasprostrite stari novinski papir kako bi lakše očistili ispalu zemlju.

4. Prije nego orhideju stavite u novu teglicu, uklonite mrtvo korijenje, odnosno škarama odrežite oštećene vrhove, bilo da su osušeni ili polomljeni.

5. Na zemlju, kojom ste prekrili dno nove plastične posude, postavite orhideju, ugurajte korijenje (dio će vam ipak ostati izvan teglice, što je uobičajeno za tu biljku) te sa svih strana u posudu dodajte supstrat. Malo pritisnite zemlju kako bi zadržala ravnotežu biljke i primila se za korijenje te ponovno nadopunite posudu ostatkom supstrata.

6. Prozirnu plastičnu posudu s orhidejom potom stavite u veću, cvjetnu posudu. Pravilo struke je da odgovara boji orhideje. Sad kad se presadili svoju biljku, dajte joj vode. Važno je znati da se orhideje ne zalijevaju kao ostale biljke, nego se “namakaju” u vodi. Naime, u tu veću ukrasnu posudu ulijte odstajale vode, kišnice ili vode iz suđerice ili uređaja za klimatizaciju (vašoj će orhideji biti draže primiti vodu sa što manje kamenca) te prozirnu plastičnu teglicu s rupicama ostavite u njoj 2 do 3 sata. Tako će se vaša orhideja “napiti” vode, koja bi inače kroz prhki supstrat samo protekla.

7. Nakon nekoliko sati, ocijedite orhideju (dovoljno je da iz zemlje iscuri ostatak vode) te ispraznite cvjetnu ukrasnu posudu. Orhideja ne voli promjenu životnog okruženja pa je najbolje da je vratite na staro mjesto ako je riječ o zatvorenom prostoru nadamo se da je to kod prozora - i uživajte u zimskim mjesecima. Tad orhideje najljepše cvatu.

Orhideje su profinjene, raskošne, tajanstvene i lijepe. Nakon što je ova tropska kraljica cvijeća, nerijetko zvana noćni leptir, nekoliko mjeseci svojim cvjetovima krasila vaš stan ili kuću, vrijeme je da ju presadite. Iako su orhideje na glasu kao vrlo osjetljive i teške za uzgoj, samo je presađivanje dosta jednostavno. SAVJETI PLUS

- Orhideju je važno pravilno održavati. Ako je u cvatu, tada ju je potrebno “zalijevati” jednom tjedno, najbolje ujutro, te svaki drugi tjedan u vodu dodati gnojivo za orhideje. Ako je orhideja u fazi mirovanja “zalijeva” se jednom u dva tjedna i ne dodaje se gnojivo.

- Biljka iziskuje puno svjetla, ali ne smije biti izložena direktno na suncu, naročito tijekom ljetnih mjeseci. Stoga ju je najbolje držati uz prozor, a za vrijeme najvećih vrućina spustiti rolete. Ta im je lokacija stoga draža u hladnijim mjesecima. Iako su najčešće uz prozor, zapamtite, orhideje ne vole propuh.

- Ako je vaša orhideja visoka, teško će se zadržati u uspravnom položaju. Stoga u teglicu, samo pažljivo, zabodite tanji drveni potporanj (debljine kao orhidejina stabljika) i kopčicama za orhideje (koje su nalik na kopčice za kosu, samo nemaju iglice s unutarnje strane) pričvrstite stabljiku biljke za štapić.

SEDAM LAKIH KORAKA

1. Za presađivanje vaše orhideje treba vam mala prozirna plastična posuda s rupicama na dnu (2 kune), veća, cvjetna ukrasna posuda, supstrat, odnosno vodo- propusna zemlja s korom za orhideje (5 litara 14 kuna), i škare za rezanje korijenja. Ako je orhideja u cvatu, trebat će vam i gnojivo za orhideje (14 kuna).

2. Dno prazne plastične posude, koja bi trebala biti prozirna radi kontrole vlage i svjetla za korijenje, a u koju ćete presaditi orhideju, prekrijte supstratom, u debljini nekoliko centimetara. Ne trebate staviti previše zemlje s korom, dovoljno je da se popuni nešto manje od pola posude kako bi korijenje moglo rasti.

3. Sad je vrijeme da svoju orhideju izvadite iz stare posude. Biljku primite za stabljiku i lagano povucite. Dio supstrata past će samo s korijenja, a ostatak pažljivo odstranite rukom. Po potrebi ispod teglice rasprostrite stari novinski papir kako bi lakše očistili ispalu zemlju.

4. Prije nego orhideju stavite u novu teglicu, uklonite mrtvo korijenje, odnosno škarama odrežite oštećene vrhove, bilo da su osušeni ili polomljeni.

5. Na zemlju, kojom ste prekrili dno nove plastične posude, postavite orhideju, ugurajte korijenje (dio će vam ipak ostati izvan teglice, što je uobičajeno za tu biljku) te sa svih strana u posudu dodajte supstrat. Malo pritisnite zemlju kako bi zadržala ravnotežu biljke i primila se za korijenje te ponovno nadopunite posudu ostatkom supstrata.

6. Prozirnu plastičnu posudu s orhidejom potom stavite u veću, cvjetnu posudu. Pravilo struke je da odgovara boji orhideje. Sad kad se presadili svoju biljku, dajte joj vode. Važno je znati da se orhideje ne zalijevaju kao ostale biljke, nego se “namakaju” u vodi. Naime, u tu veću ukrasnu posudu ulijte odstajale vode, kišnice ili vode iz suđerice ili uređaja za klimatizaciju (vašoj će orhideji biti draže primiti vodu sa što manje kamenca) te prozirnu plastičnu teglicu s rupicama ostavite u njoj 2 do 3 sata. Tako će se vaša orhideja “napiti” vode, koja bi inače kroz prhki supstrat samo protekla.

7. Nakon nekoliko sati, ocijedite orhideju (dovoljno je da iz zemlje iscuri ostatak vode) te ispraznite cvjetnu ukrasnu posudu. Orhideja ne voli promjenu životnog okruženja pa je najbolje da je vratite na staro mjesto ako je riječ o zatvorenom prostoru nadamo se da je to kod prozora - i uživajte u zimskim mjesecima. Tad orhideje najljepše cvatu.
