Ako biste trebali odabrati jednu vrstu doručka koju biste jeli svaki dan, ne biste nimalo pogriješili kada biste se odlučili za zobene pahuljice. Ta se ekonomična namirnica da jako lijepo kombinirati s cijelim nizom drugih (ukusnijih), može se pripremiti večer ranije kako bi se ujutro uštedjelo dragocjeno vrijeme, a može se koristiti i u zdravim keksićima i kolačićima koje je također lako uključiti u doručak.
Zobene pahuljice, pritom, imaju još jedan bonus: jako su zdrave.
Definitivno, dobro ih je jesti svaki dan, a ako želite pojedinosti o njihovom povoljnom djelovanju na organizam i o načinima kako ih pripremiti, evo ih nekoliko.
Ponajprije, zdravstvene prednosti zobenih pahuljica uključuju nisku i stabilnu razinu kolesterola i šećera u krvi, jer zob je dobar izvor i topivih i netopivih vlakana. Postoji puno načina za pripremu zobenih pahuljica za doručak, no zobena kaša je svakako najjednostavniji. Zobenu kašu možete, pak, skuhati, zapeći u pećnici ili u mikrovalnoj pećnici, a možete napraviti i popularne "prekonoćne" zobene pahuljice tako da ih navečer potopite s tekućinom i dodatcima po svom izboru.
Odlučite li se za početnički način pripreme, kuhanje zobene kaše na štednjaku, trebat će vam oko 50 g zobenih pahuljica - sitnih, ako želite glatku kašu, krupnih ako želite malo teksture - i oko 100 ml vode ili mlijeka. Ubacite ih u odgovarajuću posudu i kuhajte na srednjoj vatri. Kad smjesa uzavre, smanjite vatru i kuhajte 5-7 minuta uz povremeno miješanje. Kad pahuljice upiju većinu tekućine kaša je gotova, a tada još samo trebate dodati sastojke za bolji okus.
Među najpopularnijim dodatcima su svježe, zamrznuto i suho voće (zamrznuto i suho možete dodati već za vrijeme kuhanja), orašasti plodovi i maslaci od orašastih plodova, granola, med, džem, jogurt, voćni jogurt i grčki jogurt te zdrave sjemenke poput chije, lana i sličnog. Ako biste trebali odabrati jednu vrstu doručka koju biste jeli svaki dan, ne biste nimalo pogriješili kada biste se odlučili za zobene pahuljice. Ta se ekonomična namirnica da jako lijepo kombinirati s cijelim nizom drugih (ukusnijih), može se pripremiti večer ranije kako bi se ujutro uštedjelo dragocjeno vrijeme, a može se koristiti i u zdravim keksićima i kolačićima koje je također lako uključiti u doručak.
Zobene pahuljice, pritom, imaju još jedan bonus: jako su zdrave.
Definitivno, dobro ih je jesti svaki dan, a ako želite pojedinosti o njihovom povoljnom djelovanju na organizam i o načinima kako ih pripremiti, evo ih nekoliko.
Ponajprije, zdravstvene prednosti zobenih pahuljica uključuju nisku i stabilnu razinu kolesterola i šećera u krvi, jer zob je dobar izvor i topivih i netopivih vlakana. Zbog navedenog su zobene pahuljice sjajna opcija za osobe koje pate od zatvora jer spomenuta vlakna pomažu da otpadni materijal lakše prođe kroz crijeva, a ujedno, služeći kao hrana "dobrim" bakterijama pomažu u održavanju zdravlja probavnog sustava. Zobene pahuljice sadrže antioksidanse koji štite srce i krvne žile, a također jačaju imunološki sustav.

Zobene pahuljice mogu pomoći u kontroli težine jer su dobar izvor vlakana i bjelančevina pa pomažu u održavanju osjećaja sitosti, a osim su niskokalorične. Prema nekim studijama, zobene pahuljice mogu pomoći u postizanju dugovječnosti,. a odavno je poznato kako je zob jako korisna u njezi kože.
Postoji puno načina za pripremu zobenih pahuljica za doručak, no zobena kaša je svakako najjednostavniji. Zobenu kašu možete, pak, skuhati, zapeći u pećnici ili u mikrovalnoj pećnici, a možete napraviti i popularne "prekonoćne" zobene pahuljice tako da ih navečer potopite s tekućinom i dodatcima po svom izboru.
Odlučite li se za početnički način pripreme, kuhanje zobene kaše na štednjaku, trebat će vam oko 50 g zobenih pahuljica - sitnih, ako želite glatku kašu, krupnih ako želite malo teksture - i oko 100 ml vode ili mlijeka. Ubacite ih u odgovarajuću posudu i kuhajte na srednjoj vatri. Kad smjesa uzavre, smanjite vatru i kuhajte 5-7 minuta uz povremeno miješanje. Kad pahuljice upiju većinu tekućine kaša je gotova, a tada još samo trebate dodati sastojke za bolji okus.
Među najpopularnijim dodatcima su svježe, zamrznuto i suho voće (zamrznuto i suho možete dodati već za vrijeme kuhanja), orašasti plodovi i maslaci od orašastih plodova, granola, med, džem, jogurt, voćni jogurt i grčki jogurt te zdrave sjemenke poput chije, lana i sličnog. Mogućnosti je zapravo bezbroj i nema šanse da će vam zobena kaša dosaditi, čak i ako je budete jeli svaki dan. A to vam uopće ne bi bila loša ideja.
