Jeste li primijetili kako u zadnje vrijeme svi šeću pse i voze bicikle? Izolacija je nekim psićima, jer su svojim vlasnicima bili odlična 'skuža' za izaći iz kuće, dobro istrošila šapice, a kako su nam prorijedili autobusne linije, i mnoge su 'bike' napokon izvučene iz podruma i ostava.
Nismo sigurni hoće li psi sad rjeđe u šetnju, no čini se da će bicikle, unatoč povratku redovitih voznih redova, i dalje biti u trendu. Jer, priznajte, vožnja u zatvorenom busu s gomilom drugih ljudi ni prije nije djelovala privlačno, a sad djeluje još odbojnije.

Razmišljaju tako i stanovnici drugih gradova, pa su, recimo, Bogota, Berlin, Oakland i New York uredili privremene biciklističke staze, a građane se potiče da što češće koriste bicikle. U Parizu se, javlja tamošnji tisak, znatno povećao broj biciklista, a predviđa se da bi ih uskoro moglo biti čak 800 tisuća.
Zašto jednostavno savi ne sjednu u automobile, možda se pitate? Pa zbog preporuke stručnjaka da bi time dodatno onečistili zrak, a time i pogoršali epidemiološku situaciju.

Stručnjaci s Harvarda upozorili su da onečišćenje finim česticama od cestovnog prometa povećava smrtnost povezanu s koronavirusom, dok se neki njihovi kolege idu tako daleko u crnim prognozama da se pitaju mogu li te čestice prenositi virus.
S obzirom da su pločnici većine hrvatskih gradova, kako je nekidan pisao Sandi Vidulić, postali pretjesni za šetnju prema pravilima društvfenog distanciranja, čini se da ni nama neće preostati ništa drugo nego voziti se biciklima. Dok u svijetu razmišljaju o uvođenju subvencija za kupovinu 'bika', u nas o tome (još?) nema govora, no neka vas to ne obeshrabri.

Gore smo vam naveli dovoljno razloga za prometovanje na vlastiti pogon, a sudeći po društvenim mrežama, mnogi su to već shvatili. Bicikl možete pokušati posuditi od nekoga tko ne dijeli ovakav entuzijazam, možete ga pokušati nabaviti i preko malog oglasnika, a možda već imate svoj, no već ga duže vrijeme ignorirate.
Treba li vam još nagovaranja, nema problema. Vožnjom na vlastiti pogon štedite na gorivu ili putnoj karti, no ono što je također poprilično bitno je da na taj način i više trošite. Čega? Jasno, kalorija.

Prema proračunu znanstvenika s Harvarda, umjerenom vožnjom, od oko 20 kilometara na sat, što, složit ćete se, i nije nešto strašno, u pola sata potroši se skoro 300 kalorija. Ne zvuči osobito dojmljivo, no kad se obavlja redovito, stvari se mijenjaju.
Osim toga, vožnja bicikla lijepo će vam oblikovati listove. 'Udarite' li povremeno malo brži ritam, ne samo da ćete potrošiti više kalorija, nego će učinak biti itekako vidljiv, ne samo na potkoljenicama, nego i na kvadricepsima.

Jeste li primijetili kako u zadnje vrijeme svi šeću pse i voze bicikle? Izolacija je nekim psićima, jer su svojim vlasnicima bili odlična 'skuža' za izaći iz kuće, dobro istrošila šapice, a kako su nam prorijedili autobusne linije, i mnoge su 'bike' napokon izvučene iz podruma i ostava.
Nismo sigurni hoće li psi sad rjeđe u šetnju, no čini se da će bicikle, unatoč povratku redovitih voznih redova, i dalje biti u trendu. Jer, priznajte, vožnja u zatvorenom busu s gomilom drugih ljudi ni prije nije djelovala privlačno, a sad djeluje još odbojnije.

Razmišljaju tako i stanovnici drugih gradova, pa su, recimo, Bogota, Berlin, Oakland i New York uredili privremene biciklističke staze, a građane se potiče da što češće koriste bicikle. U Parizu se, javlja tamošnji tisak, znatno povećao broj biciklista, a predviđa se da bi ih uskoro moglo biti čak 800 tisuća.
Zašto jednostavno savi ne sjednu u automobile, možda se pitate? Pa zbog preporuke stručnjaka da bi time dodatno onečistili zrak, a time i pogoršali epidemiološku situaciju.

Stručnjaci s Harvarda upozorili su da onečišćenje finim česticama od cestovnog prometa povećava smrtnost povezanu s koronavirusom, dok se neki njihovi kolege idu tako daleko u crnim prognozama da se pitaju mogu li te čestice prenositi virus.
S obzirom da su pločnici većine hrvatskih gradova, kako je nekidan pisao Sandi Vidulić, postali pretjesni za šetnju prema pravilima društvfenog distanciranja, čini se da ni nama neće preostati ništa drugo nego voziti se biciklima. Dok u svijetu razmišljaju o uvođenju subvencija za kupovinu 'bika', u nas o tome (još?) nema govora, no neka vas to ne obeshrabri.

Gore smo vam naveli dovoljno razloga za prometovanje na vlastiti pogon, a sudeći po društvenim mrežama, mnogi su to već shvatili. Bicikl možete pokušati posuditi od nekoga tko ne dijeli ovakav entuzijazam, možete ga pokušati nabaviti i preko malog oglasnika, a možda već imate svoj, no već ga duže vrijeme ignorirate.
Treba li vam još nagovaranja, nema problema. Vožnjom na vlastiti pogon štedite na gorivu ili putnoj karti, no ono što je također poprilično bitno je da na taj način i više trošite. Čega? Jasno, kalorija.

Prema proračunu znanstvenika s Harvarda, umjerenom vožnjom, od oko 20 kilometara na sat, što, složit ćete se, i nije nešto strašno, u pola sata potroši se skoro 300 kalorija. Ne zvuči osobito dojmljivo, no kad se obavlja redovito, stvari se mijenjaju.
Osim toga, vožnja bicikla lijepo će vam oblikovati listove. 'Udarite' li povremeno malo brži ritam, ne samo da ćete potrošiti više kalorija, nego će učinak biti itekako vidljiv, ne samo na potkoljenicama, nego i na kvadricepsima.
