Pravilno funkcioniranje jetre ključno je za naše zdravlje. Stope bolesti jetre u stalnom su porastu te su rangirane kao peti najčešći uzrok smrti. U SAD-u su bolesti jetre prepoznate kao drugi najveći uzrok smrtnosti među svim probavnim bolestima.

Jetra je bitna jer:

- čisti krv metabolizirajući alkohol, drogu i lijekove te neutralizirajući otrovne tvari;

- proizvodi esencijalne tjelesne proteine, uključujući one koji sprječavaju zgrušavanje krvi, - omogućava opskrbu krvi hranjivim tvarima i proteinima koji sprječavaju infekcije;

- proizvodi kolesterol pretvarajući ga u esencijalne tvari važne za organizam;

- regulira opskrbu energijom proizvodeći glukozu, pohranjujući je i šaljući je u tijelo i mozak;

- regulira ravnotežu hormona, uključujući hormone nadbubrežne žlijezde i štitnjače, piše Zadovoljna.hr.

Brojni su uzroci oštećenja jetre, a uključuju faktor nasljednosti (genetska predispozicija), dugotrajne bolesti jetre (npr. ciroza) i dugu izloženost otrovnim tvarima.

Dobra je vijest da je jetra vrlo prilagodljiv i otporan organ kada se liječi, a sposobna se i sama izliječiti, i to se često događa.

Pod vodstvom specijalista većina bolesti povezanih s jetrom ima pozitivnu prognozu. Konzultirajte se s liječnikom ako bilo koji od navedenih simptoma potraje. Kao i kod većine bolesti, što se prije utvrdi temeljni uzrok, to će liječenje biti jednostavnije i učinkovitije.

Važno je znati prepoznati moguće znakove oštećenja jetre kako bismo očuvali zdravlje, a idućih sedam ranih znakova mogu ukazati na to da s jetrom nešto nije u redu.

1. Umor

Razna istraživanja dokazala su da su kronični umor i iscrpljenost najčešći simptomi oštećenja jetre. Medicinski stručnjaci nagađaju da su umor i iscrpljenost povezani s jetrom nusproizvod neurokemijskih promjena u mozgu i hormonske neravnoteže. Osjećaj umora i iscrpljenosti pogoršavaju povišene razine toksičnih nusproizvoda u krvi koje oštećena jetra ne može pravilno izbaciti iz organizma.

2. Suha ili nadražena koža

Nadražena koža i svrbež koji ne prolazi još je jedan potencijalni indikator oštećenja jetre. Da bi bila zdrava, naša koža treba vlagu koja se stvara prijenosom tekućine unutar tijela. Kada tijelo nije adekvatno opskrbljeno tekućinom, nerijetko se događa da koža poprimi drugačiji izgled. To uključuje crvenilo ruku ili stopala, žutilo sluznice, odnosno žuticu ili neobjašnjive mrlje (tamne ili svijetle) na određenim područjima.

3. Bol u trbuhu

Kod oštećenja jetre uobičajeno je osjećati bol u području abdomena. Pacijenti ovu bol često opisuju kao da ih nešto probada ili pulsirajućom, a taj simptom često može ublažiti jedino pravilno liječenje primarnog problema. Dugotrajna upotreba nekih vrsta lijekova bez recepta ili lijekova na recept može rezultirati oštećenjem jetre. Dakle, u slučaju boli u trbuhu koja ne prolazi, a osoba dugo koristi neke lijekove, potrebno je posjetiti liječnika.

Kada je mehanizam zgrušavanja krvi poremećen, uobičajene su promjene u izgledu kože. Ako jetra usporava proizvodnju ili prestane proizvoditi proteine potrebne za zgrušavanje krvi, lako dolazi do pojave modrica i krvarenja.

Pravilno funkcioniranje jetre ključno je za naše zdravlje. Stope bolesti jetre u stalnom su porastu te su rangirane kao peti najčešći uzrok smrti. U SAD-u su bolesti jetre prepoznate kao drugi najveći uzrok smrtnosti među svim probavnim bolestima.

Jetra je bitna jer:

- čisti krv metabolizirajući alkohol, drogu i lijekove te neutralizirajući otrovne tvari;

- proizvodi esencijalne tjelesne proteine, uključujući one koji sprječavaju zgrušavanje krvi, - omogućava opskrbu krvi hranjivim tvarima i proteinima koji sprječavaju infekcije;

- proizvodi kolesterol pretvarajući ga u esencijalne tvari važne za organizam;

- regulira opskrbu energijom proizvodeći glukozu, pohranjujući je i šaljući je u tijelo i mozak;

- regulira ravnotežu hormona, uključujući hormone nadbubrežne žlijezde i štitnjače, piše Zadovoljna.hr.

Brojni su uzroci oštećenja jetre, a uključuju faktor nasljednosti (genetska predispozicija), dugotrajne bolesti jetre (npr. ciroza) i dugu izloženost otrovnim tvarima.

Dobra je vijest da je jetra vrlo prilagodljiv i otporan organ kada se liječi, a sposobna se i sama izliječiti, i to se često događa.

Pod vodstvom specijalista većina bolesti povezanih s jetrom ima pozitivnu prognozu. Konzultirajte se s liječnikom ako bilo koji od navedenih simptoma potraje. Kao i kod većine bolesti, što se prije utvrdi temeljni uzrok, to će liječenje biti jednostavnije i učinkovitije.

Važno je znati prepoznati moguće znakove oštećenja jetre kako bismo očuvali zdravlje, a idućih sedam ranih znakova mogu ukazati na to da s jetrom nešto nije u redu.

1. Umor

Razna istraživanja dokazala su da su kronični umor i iscrpljenost najčešći simptomi oštećenja jetre. Medicinski stručnjaci nagađaju da su umor i iscrpljenost povezani s jetrom nusproizvod neurokemijskih promjena u mozgu i hormonske neravnoteže. Osjećaj umora i iscrpljenosti pogoršavaju povišene razine toksičnih nusproizvoda u krvi koje oštećena jetra ne može pravilno izbaciti iz organizma.

2. Suha ili nadražena koža

Nadražena koža i svrbež koji ne prolazi još je jedan potencijalni indikator oštećenja jetre. Da bi bila zdrava, naša koža treba vlagu koja se stvara prijenosom tekućine unutar tijela. Kada tijelo nije adekvatno opskrbljeno tekućinom, nerijetko se događa da koža poprimi drugačiji izgled. To uključuje crvenilo ruku ili stopala, žutilo sluznice, odnosno žuticu ili neobjašnjive mrlje (tamne ili svijetle) na određenim područjima.

3. Bol u trbuhu

Kod oštećenja jetre uobičajeno je osjećati bol u području abdomena. Pacijenti ovu bol često opisuju kao da ih nešto probada ili pulsirajućom, a taj simptom često može ublažiti jedino pravilno liječenje primarnog problema. Dugotrajna upotreba nekih vrsta lijekova bez recepta ili lijekova na recept može rezultirati oštećenjem jetre. Dakle, u slučaju boli u trbuhu koja ne prolazi, a osoba dugo koristi neke lijekove, potrebno je posjetiti liječnika.

4. Mučnina ili povraćanje

Kao što je već spomenuto, jedna od primarnih funkcija jetre jest detoksikacija i pomoć kod izbacivanja otrovnih tvari iz tijela. Kada je detoksikacijska funkcija jetre poremećena, mogu se pojaviti brojni problemi, uključujući nagle promjene u inače normalnoj probavi i metabolizmu. Jetra je veliki organ unutar probavnog sustava, stoga se svako stanje povezano s jetrom može manifestirati u obliku probavnih smetnji. Mučnina i povraćanje često se javljaju zbog nakupljenih toksina koje jetra ne može izbaciti.

5. Modrice

Jedna od najvažnijih uloga jetre jest pomaganje u proizvodnji proteinskih enzima koji, između ostalog, pomažu u sprječavanju krvnih ugrušaka. Kada je mehanizam zgrušavanja krvi poremećen, uobičajene su promjene u izgledu kože. Ako jetra usporava proizvodnju ili prestane proizvoditi proteine potrebne za zgrušavanje krvi, lako dolazi do pojave modrica i krvarenja.

6. Oticanje trbuha
