Što je apetit?

Apetit ili želja za konzumacijom hrane ima važnu ulogu u osiguravanju unosa hranjivih tvari koje su bitne za izgradnju našeg organizma i za dobivanje energije, piše Centar zdravlja.

Apetit je iznimno složen mehanizam u kojem sudjeluje velik broj organa, više hormonalnih sustava i mnoštvo metaboličkih mehanizama i reakcija. Uključuje probavni sustav i njegove enzime, mozak i neurotransmitere, jetru, gušteraču, masno tkivo i endokrini sustav, odnosno hormone.

Smanjen apetit

Smanjenje apetita ili smanjena želja za hranom može imati puno različitih uzroka, piše Centar zdravlja.

To mogu biti različiti psihološki uzroci (depresija, anksioznost, stres) ili neke organske bolesti. Smanjenje apetita može dovesti do gubitka tjelesne mase pa čak i do pothranjenosti što može imati ozbiljne posljedice za zdravlje.

U dječjoj dobi gubitak apetita najčešće je samo prolazna faza.

Apetit stimulira hrana finog i punog okusa. Izgled obroka, odnosno vizualna percepcija ima važnu ulogu u stimuliranju apetita, kao i nutritivna raznolikost obroka.

Jedan od najčešće korištenih prehrambenih stimulatora apetita je jabučna kiselina te citrusi, čija je glavna uloga stimulacija lučenja želučanih sokova.

Primjena ljekovitog bilja na podizanje apetita

U tu svrhu koriste se biljke koje sadrže gorke tvari. Gorke tvari potiču lučenje probavnih sokova i na taj način potiču probavu i stimuliraju apetit.

Tradicionalno se za povećanje apetita najčešće koriste gorki pelin (Artemisia absinthium), kičica (Centaurium erythraea), srčanik (Gentiana lutea), stolisnik (Achillea millefolium), maslačak (Taraxacum officinale) i artičoka (Cynara scolimus).

Vitamini B skupine često se koriste kao stimulatori apetita jer njihov deficit može biti uzrok disbalansa brojnih metaboličkih funkcija i jedan od uzročnika smanjenog apetita.

Ukoliko se utvrdi da gubitak apetita nije uzrokovan nekim ozbiljnijim poremećajem ili nekom težom organskom bolešću, dobro je posegnuti za nekim pomoćnim sredstvom koje u sebi sadrži biljne ekstrakte.

Danas su dostupni sirupi za povećanje apetita koji zahvaljujući gorkim tvarima iz biljnih ekstrakata koje sadrže, potiču lučenje probavnih sokova i povećavaju želju za hranom, ali isto tako pomažu proces probave i na taj način sprječavaju stvaranje osjećaja težine i prerano osjećanje sitosti. Postoje i brojne tinkture i različiti drugi ekstrakti. Važno je takve preparate uzeti prije obroka, najčešće pola sata prije obroka.

Ukoliko je gubitak apetita uzrokovan nekim psihogenim faktorima (anksioznost, depresija) dobro je posegnuti za kičicom ili srčanikom u kombinaciji s biljkama antidepresivnog i anksiolitičkog djelovanja.

Kičica se pokazala jako dobra i u slučaju smanjenog apetita tijekom oporavka od bolesti i dobar je odabir i kod smanjenog apetita kod djece. Može se uzimati kao macerat (biljka se ostavi oko pola sata u mlakoj vodi i zatim ocijedi) ili kao infuz (biljka se prelije kipućom vodom, ostavi 10 minuta i ocijedi). Takvi pripravci uzimaju se prije jela.

Kičica i srčanik u kombinaciji s ružičastim žednjakom su se pokazali jako dobri za povećanje apetita kod ljudi kod kojih je manjak apetita uzrokovan stresom.

Uzrok smanjenja apetita

Prije uzimanja preparata za povećanje apetita, uvijek je dobro obaviti potrebne liječničke preglede kako bi se utvrdio pravi uzrok nastalog problema i kako bi se na adekvatan način pristupilo liječenju.

Što je apetit?

Apetit ili želja za konzumacijom hrane ima važnu ulogu u osiguravanju unosa hranjivih tvari koje su bitne za izgradnju našeg organizma i za dobivanje energije, piše Centar zdravlja.

Apetit je iznimno složen mehanizam u kojem sudjeluje velik broj organa, više hormonalnih sustava i mnoštvo metaboličkih mehanizama i reakcija. Uključuje probavni sustav i njegove enzime, mozak i neurotransmitere, jetru, gušteraču, masno tkivo i endokrini sustav, odnosno hormone.

Smanjen apetit

Smanjenje apetita ili smanjena želja za hranom može imati puno različitih uzroka, piše Centar zdravlja.

To mogu biti različiti psihološki uzroci (depresija, anksioznost, stres) ili neke organske bolesti. Smanjenje apetita može dovesti do gubitka tjelesne mase pa čak i do pothranjenosti što može imati ozbiljne posljedice za zdravlje.

U dječjoj dobi gubitak apetita najčešće je samo prolazna faza.

Apetit stimulira hrana finog i punog okusa. Izgled obroka, odnosno vizualna percepcija ima važnu ulogu u stimuliranju apetita, kao i nutritivna raznolikost obroka.

Jedan od najčešće korištenih prehrambenih stimulatora apetita je jabučna kiselina te citrusi, čija je glavna uloga stimulacija lučenja želučanih sokova.

Primjena ljekovitog bilja na podizanje apetita

U tu svrhu koriste se biljke koje sadrže gorke tvari. Gorke tvari potiču lučenje probavnih sokova i na taj način potiču probavu i stimuliraju apetit.

Tradicionalno se za povećanje apetita najčešće koriste gorki pelin (Artemisia absinthium), kičica (Centaurium erythraea), srčanik (Gentiana lutea), stolisnik (Achillea millefolium), maslačak (Taraxacum officinale) i artičoka (Cynara scolimus).

Vitamini B skupine često se koriste kao stimulatori apetita jer njihov deficit može biti uzrok disbalansa brojnih metaboličkih funkcija i jedan od uzročnika smanjenog apetita.

Ukoliko se utvrdi da gubitak apetita nije uzrokovan nekim ozbiljnijim poremećajem ili nekom težom organskom bolešću, dobro je posegnuti za nekim pomoćnim sredstvom koje u sebi sadrži biljne ekstrakte.

Danas su dostupni sirupi za povećanje apetita koji zahvaljujući gorkim tvarima iz biljnih ekstrakata koje sadrže, potiču lučenje probavnih sokova i povećavaju želju za hranom, ali isto tako pomažu proces probave i na taj način sprječavaju stvaranje osjećaja težine i prerano osjećanje sitosti. Postoje i brojne tinkture i različiti drugi ekstrakti. Važno je takve preparate uzeti prije obroka, najčešće pola sata prije obroka.

Ukoliko je gubitak apetita uzrokovan nekim psihogenim faktorima (anksioznost, depresija) dobro je posegnuti za kičicom ili srčanikom u kombinaciji s biljkama antidepresivnog i anksiolitičkog djelovanja.

Kičica se pokazala jako dobra i u slučaju smanjenog apetita tijekom oporavka od bolesti i dobar je odabir i kod smanjenog apetita kod djece. Može se uzimati kao macerat (biljka se ostavi oko pola sata u mlakoj vodi i zatim ocijedi) ili kao infuz (biljka se prelije kipućom vodom, ostavi 10 minuta i ocijedi). Takvi pripravci uzimaju se prije jela.

Kičica i srčanik u kombinaciji s ružičastim žednjakom su se pokazali jako dobri za povećanje apetita kod ljudi kod kojih je manjak apetita uzrokovan stresom.

Uzrok smanjenja apetita

Prije uzimanja preparata za povećanje apetita, uvijek je dobro obaviti potrebne liječničke preglede kako bi se utvrdio pravi uzrok nastalog problema i kako bi se na adekvatan način pristupilo liječenju.
