Postoji nekoliko ključnih simptoma raka gušterače koje se ne bi smjelo ignorirati, upozorilo je britansko Udruženje za rak gušterače

Stručnjaci upozoravaju da je važno što prije potražiti pomoć s obzirom na to da se rak gušterače najčešće otkriva kad je već prekasno, piše živim.hr.

Ključni simptomi na koje treba obratiti pažnju su:

bol u leđima

probavni problemi (gubitak apetita, probavne smetnje i mučnina česti su kod osoba s rakom gušterače. Ovi simptomi se često događaju kada bolest utječe na sposobnost osobe da probavi hranu i apsorbira hranjive tvari. Oni se također mogu pojaviti kada tumor blokira ili usporava redovite probavne proces. Mnogi bolesnici s rakom gušterače imaju proljev, zatvor ili oboje)

bol u želucu (bol u trbuhu ili u sredini leđa može biti uzrokovana tumorom. Ovisno o njegovom položaju i veličini tumor može pritiskati živac, organe u blizini gušterače ili blokirati probavni trakt)

gubitak tjelesne težine (gubitak težine može biti uzrokovan nepotpunom probavom zbog raka ili samog raka (tumorska kaheksija), koja značajno utječe na proces liječenja i stopu preživljenja. Gubitak težine izazvan rakom je problem koji utječe na način kako tijelo koristi kalorije i proteine. Može uzrokovati da tijelo sagorijeva više kalorija nego inače, razgradi mišiće i smanji apetit)

Ako ste bilo koji od navedenih problema imali duže od četiri tjedna, obavezno o tome porazgovarajte sa svojim liječnikom primarne zdravstvene zaštite. Upozoravaju i da bi sve osobe sa žuticom, odnosno žućkastom bojom kože ili očiju odmah trebale potražiti hitnu medicinsku pomoć.

Anketa provedena krajem prošle godine pokazala je da 28 posto ljudi čeka čak tri mjeseca prije nego što potraže pomoć liječnika nakon što uoče neke nove simptome, a stručnjaci smatraju da je vrlo zabrinjavajuće to što tako velik broj ljudi tako dugo odgađa potražiti pomoć.

Naime, rak gušterače nije nestao zbog pandemije covida-19 i svi koji imaju bilo kakve neobjašnjive simptome koji ne prolaze trebali bi o tome što prije porazgovarati s liječnikom.

- Nema vremena za gubljenje kad je riječ o raku gušterače. Tisuću ljudi godišnje čuje da je za njih prekasno i da se više ništa ne može učiniti da im se pomogne. To mora prestati - poručuju iz britanskog Udruženja za rak gušterače.

- Ne želimo da ljude uhvati panika ako imaju neke ili sve od spomenutih simptoma jer će se pokazati da ipak većina od njih nema rak gušterače. No, od ključne je važnosti da ljudi nauče više o toj bolesti, da razgovaraju sa svojim najbližima i da nam pomognu da prekinemo tu šutnju koja obavija najsmrtonosniji od čestih oblika raka - apeliraju.

U Hrvatskoj se godišnje dijagnosticira više od 600 novih slučajeva. Bolest zahvaća veliku žlijezdu koja je dio probavnog sustava - gušteraču, smještenu iza želuca i ispod jetre.

Njezine dvije glavne funkcije su oslobađanje probavnih enzima u crijeva kako bi se pomogla razgradnja hrane te lučenje hormona inzulina i glukagona za reguliranje razine šećera u krvi. Rak gušterače nastaje kad se maligne, odnosno kancerozne stanice razviju u tkivu gušterače.

Kako se dijagnosticira i liječi rak gušterače

Konačna dijagnoza raka gušterače zahtijeva biopsiju. U prošlosti, biopsije se nisu radile tako često kao sada. Najtočnija i najisplativija metoda uspostavljanja dijagnoze i ocjenjivanju proširenosti karcinoma je CT (kompjutorska tomografija) i pokazat će prisutne abnormalnosti u 75 posto slučajeva.

Djelomično ili potpuno uklanjanje gušterače operacijom jedino je što potencijalno može dovesti do izlječenja. Kemoterapija i radioterapija mogu poboljšati preživljenje.

Lokalno uznapredovali rak gušterače (koji se najčešće ne može operirati) uspješno se može liječiti kombiniranjem radiokirurške metode i sustavnog liječenja.

Postoji nekoliko ključnih simptoma raka gušterače koje se ne bi smjelo ignorirati, upozorilo je britansko Udruženje za rak gušterače

Stručnjaci upozoravaju da je važno što prije potražiti pomoć s obzirom na to da se rak gušterače najčešće otkriva kad je već prekasno, piše živim.hr.

Ključni simptomi na koje treba obratiti pažnju su:

bol u leđima

probavni problemi (gubitak apetita, probavne smetnje i mučnina česti su kod osoba s rakom gušterače. Ovi simptomi se često događaju kada bolest utječe na sposobnost osobe da probavi hranu i apsorbira hranjive tvari. Oni se također mogu pojaviti kada tumor blokira ili usporava redovite probavne proces. Mnogi bolesnici s rakom gušterače imaju proljev, zatvor ili oboje)

bol u želucu (bol u trbuhu ili u sredini leđa može biti uzrokovana tumorom. Ovisno o njegovom položaju i veličini tumor može pritiskati živac, organe u blizini gušterače ili blokirati probavni trakt)

gubitak tjelesne težine (gubitak težine može biti uzrokovan nepotpunom probavom zbog raka ili samog raka (tumorska kaheksija), koja značajno utječe na proces liječenja i stopu preživljenja. Gubitak težine izazvan rakom je problem koji utječe na način kako tijelo koristi kalorije i proteine. Može uzrokovati da tijelo sagorijeva više kalorija nego inače, razgradi mišiće i smanji apetit)

Ako ste bilo koji od navedenih problema imali duže od četiri tjedna, obavezno o tome porazgovarajte sa svojim liječnikom primarne zdravstvene zaštite. Upozoravaju i da bi sve osobe sa žuticom, odnosno žućkastom bojom kože ili očiju odmah trebale potražiti hitnu medicinsku pomoć.

Anketa provedena krajem prošle godine pokazala je da 28 posto ljudi čeka čak tri mjeseca prije nego što potraže pomoć liječnika nakon što uoče neke nove simptome, a stručnjaci smatraju da je vrlo zabrinjavajuće to što tako velik broj ljudi tako dugo odgađa potražiti pomoć.

Naime, rak gušterače nije nestao zbog pandemije covida-19 i svi koji imaju bilo kakve neobjašnjive simptome koji ne prolaze trebali bi o tome što prije porazgovarati s liječnikom.

- Nema vremena za gubljenje kad je riječ o raku gušterače. Tisuću ljudi godišnje čuje da je za njih prekasno i da se više ništa ne može učiniti da im se pomogne. To mora prestati - poručuju iz britanskog Udruženja za rak gušterače.

- Ne želimo da ljude uhvati panika ako imaju neke ili sve od spomenutih simptoma jer će se pokazati da ipak većina od njih nema rak gušterače. No, od ključne je važnosti da ljudi nauče više o toj bolesti, da razgovaraju sa svojim najbližima i da nam pomognu da prekinemo tu šutnju koja obavija najsmrtonosniji od čestih oblika raka - apeliraju.

U Hrvatskoj se godišnje dijagnosticira više od 600 novih slučajeva. Bolest zahvaća veliku žlijezdu koja je dio probavnog sustava - gušteraču, smještenu iza želuca i ispod jetre.

Njezine dvije glavne funkcije su oslobađanje probavnih enzima u crijeva kako bi se pomogla razgradnja hrane te lučenje hormona inzulina i glukagona za reguliranje razine šećera u krvi. Rak gušterače nastaje kad se maligne, odnosno kancerozne stanice razviju u tkivu gušterače.

Kako se dijagnosticira i liječi rak gušterače

Konačna dijagnoza raka gušterače zahtijeva biopsiju. U prošlosti, biopsije se nisu radile tako često kao sada. Najtočnija i najisplativija metoda uspostavljanja dijagnoze i ocjenjivanju proširenosti karcinoma je CT (kompjutorska tomografija) i pokazat će prisutne abnormalnosti u 75 posto slučajeva.

Djelomično ili potpuno uklanjanje gušterače operacijom jedino je što potencijalno može dovesti do izlječenja. Kemoterapija i radioterapija mogu poboljšati preživljenje.

Lokalno uznapredovali rak gušterače (koji se najčešće ne može operirati) uspješno se može liječiti kombiniranjem radiokirurške metode i sustavnog liječenja.

Postoji nekoliko ključnih simptoma raka gušterače koje se ne bi smjelo ignorirati, upozorilo je britansko Udruženje za rak gušterače

Stručnjaci upozoravaju da je važno što prije potražiti pomoć s obzirom na to da se rak gušterače najčešće otkriva kad je već prekasno, piše živim.hr.

Ključni simptomi na koje treba obratiti pažnju su:

bol u leđima

probavni problemi (gubitak apetita, probavne smetnje i mučnina česti su kod osoba s rakom gušterače. Ovi simptomi se često događaju kada bolest utječe na sposobnost osobe da probavi hranu i apsorbira hranjive tvari.
