Posljednji film legendarnog hollywoodskog glumca Clinta Eastwooda (91) zove se "Cry Macho", a u njemu Eastwood glumi rodeo zvijezdu i propalog uzgajivača konja Mike Miloa. No, Eastwood nije samo glumio u toj odličnoj drami, već ju je i režirao i producirao. Većina ljudi se ne bi usudila raditi u tako kasnoj životnoj dobi, no Clint Eastwooda je ostao i dalje aktivan. Njegov sin Scott Eastwood tajnu zdravlja svog oca naziva ‘Eastwoodov kod‘, a ovaj termin je skovao tijekom jednog intervjua za časopis Men's Health 2017., piše Živim.
Redovita tjelovježba
Scott je opisao očev naporan, ali zdrav način života koji se sastoji od redovite tjelovježbe u kombinaciji sa zdravom prehranom.
- Moj otac je poput stroja kad je riječ o tjelovježbi i hrani. Počeo je dizati utege kad je imao samo 14 ili 15 godina, od potiska utega s klupe (bench press) do svih ostalih osnovnih vježbi s utezima - rekao je.
Što se tiče njegovog jelovnika i hrane koju jede, detalji su otkriveni u jednom drugom nedavnom intervjuu iz kojeg se može saznati da mu je uravnoteženost prehrane na prvom mjestu. Clint je tada rekao da jede 90 posto 'dobre', zdrave hrane i 10 posto one nezdrave.
- Zdravi, kvalitetni proteini, poput lososa i piletine u kombinaciji s mnogo povrća, brokule, šparoga i zelenog lisnatog povrća su ono što najradije jedem - otkrio je tada.

No, 'Eastwoodov kod' nije duga obiteljska tradicija. Naime, Clintonov otac je umro u 63. godini od srčanog udara, a srčani udar je često posljedica nezdravog načina života u kojem prehrana obiluje mastima i šećerom. To je ono što si Clint neće dopustiti jer pazi na ama baš svaki aspekt života i zdravlja. Između ostalog njegovi savjeti su i:

- priuštite si dovoljno odmora
- nastojte biti optimistični
- jedite voće i sirovo povrće
- uzimajte vitamine
- izbjegavajte pića koja obiluju šećerima

Iako dobar dio onoga što Clint Eastwood poduzima kako bi ostao zdrav i u dobroj formi čine zdrava hrana i tjelovježba, priznao je i da je blagoslovljen jer mu je priroda podarila tijelo s malo masnog tkiva.

I spavanje je od ključne važnosti za zdravlje tijela. Desetljeća istraživanja su pokazala da je san od vitalnog značenja za normalno funkcioniranje našeg organizma. San poboljšava krvotok i potiče obnavljanje oštećenih stanica uslijed izlaganja UV zrakama. Posljednji film legendarnog hollywoodskog glumca Clinta Eastwooda (91) zove se "Cry Macho", a u njemu Eastwood glumi rodeo zvijezdu i propalog uzgajivača konja Mike Miloa. No, Eastwood nije samo glumio u toj odličnoj drami, već ju je i režirao i producirao. Većina ljudi se ne bi usudila raditi u tako kasnoj životnoj dobi, no Clint Eastwooda je ostao i dalje aktivan. Njegov sin Scott Eastwood tajnu zdravlja svog oca naziva ‘Eastwoodov kod‘, a ovaj termin je skovao tijekom jednog intervjua za časopis Men's Health 2017., piše Živim.
Redovita tjelovježba
Scott je opisao očev naporan, ali zdrav način života koji se sastoji od redovite tjelovježbe u kombinaciji sa zdravom prehranom.
- Moj otac je poput stroja kad je riječ o tjelovježbi i hrani. Počeo je dizati utege kad je imao samo 14 ili 15 godina, od potiska utega s klupe (bench press) do svih ostalih osnovnih vježbi s utezima - rekao je.
Što se tiče njegovog jelovnika i hrane koju jede, detalji su otkriveni u jednom drugom nedavnom intervjuu iz kojeg se može saznati da mu je uravnoteženost prehrane na prvom mjestu. Clint je tada rekao da jede 90 posto 'dobre', zdrave hrane i 10 posto one nezdrave.
- Zdravi, kvalitetni proteini, poput lososa i piletine u kombinaciji s mnogo povrća, brokule, šparoga i zelenog lisnatog povrća su ono što najradije jedem - otkrio je tada.
Pazi na sve
No, 'Eastwoodov kod' nije duga obiteljska tradicija. Naime, Clintonov otac je umro u 63. godini od srčanog udara, a srčani udar je često posljedica nezdravog načina života u kojem prehrana obiluje mastima i šećerom. To je ono što si Clint neće dopustiti jer pazi na ama baš svaki aspekt života i zdravlja. Između ostalog njegovi savjeti su i:
- držite vagu u kupaonici
- priuštite si dovoljno odmora
- nastojte biti optimistični
- jedite voće i sirovo povrće
- uzimajte vitamine
- izbjegavajte pića koja obiluju šećerima
- izbjegavajte prekomjeran unos alkohola
Iako dobar dio onoga što Clint Eastwood poduzima kako bi ostao zdrav i u dobroj formi čine zdrava hrana i tjelovježba, priznao je i da je blagoslovljen jer mu je priroda podarila tijelo s malo masnog tkiva.

Antioksidansi štite tijelo od slobodnih radikala koji uzrokuju rak. Slobodni radikali su, pak, molekule koje nastaju dok tijelo razgrađuje hranu ili kad smo izloženi dimu. I spavanje je od ključne važnosti za zdravlje tijela. Desetljeća istraživanja su pokazala da je san od vitalnog značenja za normalno funkcioniranje našeg organizma. San poboljšava krvotok i potiče obnavljanje oštećenih stanica uslijed izlaganja UV zrakama. A za nekoga kao što je Clint Eastwood, koji je proveo godine i godine snimajući filmove na suncu na setovima brojnih westerna u kojima je glumio, to je sigurno itekako važno, piše Živim.
