Koliko ste puta čuli od nekoga tko muku muči s mršavljenjem kako ima "teške kosti" ili "spor metabolizam". Riječ je o dvije najčešće izlike kojima pokušavamo opravdati višak kalorija koje unosimo u organizam, no dok je ova prva najčešće šala, u drugom slučaju mnogi su mrtvi-ozbiljni.

Pa svoju inertnost i pogrešan način prehrane pripisuju usporenosti vlastitoga tijela, no najčešće to nije slučaj. Ipak, brojni će fitness stručnjaci, pa i liječnici potvrditi da uistinu postoje stanja i kojima se naš "sitstem" ponaša mnogo sporije, samo što su takvi slučajevi - rijetkost.

Doktor Avigdor Arad, pročelnik bolnice Mount Sinai u New Yorku, za Popsugar je opisao o kojim se točno stanjima radi kada je usporen metabolizam u pitanju.

Što je uopće "metabolizam"? Riječ je o kompleksnom procesu koji je povezan sa sposobnošću našega tijela da proizvodi energiju iz masti, šećera i proteina, kao i s načinima na koji tu energiju skladišti. Kada se priča o metabolizmu, velika većina ponajprije misli na broj kalorija koje njihovo tijelo sagorijeva u određenom periodu.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

I remember the day I was about to surrender. The day I was about to let my slow metabolism win. - 🔹I was so discouraged. There are people who get diagnosed with a low thyroid. But that doesn’t mean you can never lose fat. What it means is you may need to work with your Doctor to see what course of treatment (if any) is appropriate, then start dialing in your nutrition. - 🔹My point here is this: Don’t assume your “slow” metabolism is to blame for anything. Znakovi za uzbunu

I doista, broj kalorija koji se sagorijeva u određeno vrijeme može se kategorizirati u skupine "sporo" i "brzo". Brz metabolizam znači da vaše tijelo s velikim uspjehom proizvodi energiju, i velike količine nje, a sporo da nešto u vašemu organizmu sprječava metabolizam kako bi funkcionirao ispravno.

No netko tko ima spor metabolizam, osim debljanja, iskusit će još čitav niz simptoma. Umor, manjak energije, nesposobnost za obavljanje najlakših dnevnih zadaća, samo su neki od simptoma koje navodi dr. Arad.

"Moguće je primijetiti i fizičke znakove, kao što su suha koža, izlistani nokti, rijetka kosa koja opada. Moguće da pacijenti pate i od migrena, kao i da imaju izrazite napadaje želje za slatkim, budući da im takvu poruku šalje tijelo koje se trudi ostati budno", dodaje.

Stvar je u tome da tijelo jednostavno ne probavlja hranu na ispravan način, pa je nemoguće i da ju ispravno iskoristi, a manjak nutrijenata zatim utječe na čitav niz faktora.

Ipak, uistinu spor metabolizam "vrlo je rijetka pojava", upozorava on. U većini slučaja posljedica je manjka sna, jako loše dijete ili izrazitog nedostatka fizičkih aktivnosti. Moguće da je riječ i o problemima sa štitnjačom ili teškom disbalansu unutar hormonalne ravnoteže.

Ako pretpostavljate da vam je metabolizam usporen na temelju gore navedenih simptoma, bilo bi dobro potražiti liječničku pomoć. Posjetite endokrinologa koji će vam reći u kakvom su točno stanju vaši hormoni.

Koliko ste puta čuli od nekoga tko muku muči s mršavljenjem kako ima "teške kosti" ili "spor metabolizam". Riječ je o dvije najčešće izlike kojima pokušavamo opravdati višak kalorija koje unosimo u organizam, no dok je ova prva najčešće šala, u drugom slučaju mnogi su mrtvi-ozbiljni.

Pa svoju inertnost i pogrešan način prehrane pripisuju usporenosti vlastitoga tijela, no najčešće to nije slučaj. Ipak, brojni će fitness stručnjaci, pa i liječnici potvrditi da uistinu postoje stanja i kojima se naš "sitstem" ponaša mnogo sporije, samo što su takvi slučajevi - rijetkost.

Doktor Avigdor Arad, pročelnik bolnice Mount Sinai u New Yorku, za Popsugar je opisao o kojim se točno stanjima radi kada je usporen metabolizam u pitanju.

Što je uopće "metabolizam"? Riječ je o kompleksnom procesu koji je povezan sa sposobnošću našega tijela da proizvodi energiju iz masti, šećera i proteina, kao i s načinima na koji tu energiju skladišti. I remember the day I was about to surrender. The day I was about to let my slow metabolism win. - 🔹I was so discouraged. There are people who get diagnosed with a low thyroid. But that doesn’t mean you can never lose fat. What it means is you may need to work with your Doctor to see what course of treatment (if any) is appropriate, then start dialing in your nutrition. - 🔹My point here is this: Don’t assume your “slow” metabolism is to blame for anything. It’s a waste of time. 🔹It’s never too late to lose fat, build muscle and get healthy. Will it be easy? Oh hell no. Znakovi za uzbunu

I doista, broj kalorija koji se sagorijeva u određeno vrijeme može se kategorizirati u skupine "sporo" i "brzo". Brz metabolizam znači da vaše tijelo s velikim uspjehom proizvodi energiju, i velike količine nje, a sporo da nešto u vašemu organizmu sprječava metabolizam kako bi funkcionirao ispravno.

No netko tko ima spor metabolizam, osim debljanja, iskusit će još čitav niz simptoma. Umor, manjak energije, nesposobnost za obavljanje najlakših dnevnih zadaća, samo su neki od simptoma koje navodi dr. Arad.

"Moguće je primijetiti i fizičke znakove, kao što su suha koža, izlistani nokti, rijetka kosa koja opada. Moguće da pacijenti pate i od migrena, kao i da imaju izrazite napadaje želje za slatkim, budući da im takvu poruku šalje tijelo koje se trudi ostati budno", dodaje.

Stvar je u tome da tijelo jednostavno ne probavlja hranu na ispravan način, pa je nemoguće i da ju ispravno iskoristi, a manjak nutrijenata zatim utječe na čitav niz faktora.

Ipak, uistinu spor metabolizam "vrlo je rijetka pojava", upozorava on. U većini slučaja posljedica je manjka sna, jako loše dijete ili izrazitog nedostatka fizičkih aktivnosti. Moguće da je riječ i o problemima sa štitnjačom ili teškom disbalansu unutar hormonalne ravnoteže.

Ako pretpostavljate da vam je metabolizam usporen na temelju gore navedenih simptoma, bilo bi dobro potražiti liječničku pomoć. Posjetite endokrinologa koji će vam reći u kakvom su točno stanju vaši hormoni.
