Danas smo više-manje svi upoznati s važnosti vode za ljudsko zdravlje, a mala djeca nisu nikakva iznimka. Voda pomaže u izbacivanju toksina iz bebinog sustava, regulira tjelesnu temperaturu, sprječava zatvor i održava kod djeteta dobru razinu energije. Nažalost, većini mališana voda je dosadna i više vole zabavnije okuse i sladila. Roditelji se stoga pitaju je li aromatizirana voda sigurna i zdrava za njihovu djecu, a ako nije kako ih nagovoriti da piju običnu, piše Babygaga.
Baš kao i obična voda, i aromatizirana voda pomaže nadoknaditi izgubljenu tekućinu u vašem, kao i tijelu male bebe. Ako vaše dijete dnevno konzumira šest čaša vode s okusom, ostat će hidratizirano i energizirano tijekom cijelog dana. Ako vaša beba ne voli običnu vodu, voda s okusom poslužit će svrsi. Dehidracija rezultira pregrijavanjem, razdražljivošću, osjećajem smanjene energije i smrdljivim urinom. Umjesto da imate dehidriranu malu djecu, radije im dopustite da pije vodu s okusom.
Voda s najboljim okusom je ona pomiješana sa svježim začinskim biljem i voćem. Ne samo da je ta aromatizirana voda ukusna i hranjiva, već ima nula dodanih šećera i kalorija. Međutim većina proizvođača ne koristi niti šećer već fruktozni kukuruzni sirup. Za njega se godinama vjerovalo da je sigurna zamjena, ali je naknadno otkriveno da njegova prečesta konzumacija može pridonijeti zdravstvenim stanjima poput bolesti jetre, dijabetesa i pretilosti.
Voda s okusom s visokim udjelom fruktoznog kukuruznog sirupa oštetit će i zube vašeg mališana ako se konzumira svakodnevno. Vaše će dijete biti u većem riziku od razvoja zubnih šupljina, erozije i karijesa. Vitamin C također je prisutan u vodi s okusom. Kada se vitamin C konzumira u prekomjernoj količini, također može oštetiti zube. Poznato je da prekomjerna razina unosa vitamina C uzrokuje vanjsku eroziju zuba i trošenje cakline. Umjetna bojila za hranu, i kiseline također imaju negativne učinke na zube.
Kako bi spriječili probleme sa zubima kod mališana, roditelji trebaju uz aromatizirana pića uključiti hranu koja pospješuje stvaranje sline te se pobrinuti da dijete redovito pere zube. Istraživanja su otkrila još jedan problem, a to je da neka voda s okusom sadrži stimulanse, uključujući kofein. U mladoj dobi djeci ne trebaju energetska pića i trebalo bi pripaziti na sastav onih koja im roditelji daju.
Jedna od značajki koja se ističe kod aromatizirane vode je njezina boja. Za razliku od bezlične prozirne tekućine, bočica s umjetnom bojom u sebi privlači malu djecu i oni će je stalno tražiti još. Ipak, pokazalo se da te boje mogu sadržavati tragove žive, kroma, olova i arsena što može rezultirati hiperaktivnošću djeteta.
Velikim dijelom još se ni ne zna kako točno aromatizirana voda djeluje na psihofizičko zdravlje djeteta. Neki sastojci koje sadržava nisu detaljno proučavani pa njihove nuspojave ostaju nepoznate. Primjer su biljni sastojci. Istraživači nisu proučavali većinu ovih biljaka i nisu sigurni u njihove rizike. Do tada bolje je svakako izbjegavati neprovjerene namirnice svima, a posebno najosjetljivijima tj. djeci.
Ponekad je teško riješiti se loših navika kod djeteta, ali postepeno može doći do promjene. Vodite svojim primjerom, izbacite vodu s okusom iz upotrebe pa će vas dijete oponašati. Svaki put kada je žedno ponudite mu običnu vodu i s vremenom bi se trebalo naviknuti na nju. Ako baš nema nikakve šanse da se dijete adaptira na normalnu vodu koristite prirodne okuse primjerice od voća koje vaše dijete voli.

Danas smo više-manje svi upoznati s važnosti vode za ljudsko zdravlje, a mala djeca nisu nikakva iznimka. Voda pomaže u izbacivanju toksina iz bebinog sustava, regulira tjelesnu temperaturu, sprječava zatvor i održava kod djeteta dobru razinu energije. Nažalost, većini mališana voda je dosadna i više vole zabavnije okuse i sladila. Roditelji se stoga pitaju je li aromatizirana voda sigurna i zdrava za njihovu djecu, a ako nije kako ih nagovoriti da piju običnu, piše Babygaga.
Baš kao i obična voda, i aromatizirana voda pomaže nadoknaditi izgubljenu tekućinu u vašem, kao i tijelu male bebe. Ako vaše dijete dnevno konzumira šest čaša vode s okusom, ostat će hidratizirano i energizirano tijekom cijelog dana. Ako vaša beba ne voli običnu vodu, voda s okusom poslužit će svrsi. Dehidracija rezultira pregrijavanjem, razdražljivošću, osjećajem smanjene energije i smrdljivim urinom. Umjesto da imate dehidriranu malu djecu, radije im dopustite da pije vodu s okusom.
Voda s najboljim okusom je ona pomiješana sa svježim začinskim biljem i voćem. Ne samo da je ta aromatizirana voda ukusna i hranjiva, već ima nula dodanih šećera i kalorija. Međutim većina proizvođača ne koristi niti šećer već fruktozni kukuruzni sirup. Za njega se godinama vjerovalo da je sigurna zamjena, ali je naknadno otkriveno da njegova prečesta konzumacija može pridonijeti zdravstvenim stanjima poput bolesti jetre, dijabetesa i pretilosti.
Voda s okusom s visokim udjelom fruktoznog kukuruznog sirupa oštetit će i zube vašeg mališana ako se konzumira svakodnevno. Vaše će dijete biti u većem riziku od razvoja zubnih šupljina, erozije i karijesa. Vitamin C također je prisutan u vodi s okusom. Kada se vitamin C konzumira u prekomjernoj količini, također može oštetiti zube. Poznato je da prekomjerna razina unosa vitamina C uzrokuje vanjsku eroziju zuba i trošenje cakline. Umjetna bojila za hranu, i kiseline također imaju negativne učinke na zube.
Kako bi spriječili probleme sa zubima kod mališana, roditelji trebaju uz aromatizirana pića uključiti hranu koja pospješuje stvaranje sline te se pobrinuti da dijete redovito pere zube. Istraživanja su otkrila još jedan problem, a to je da neka voda s okusom sadrži stimulanse, uključujući kofein. U mladoj dobi djeci ne trebaju energetska pića i trebalo bi pripaziti na sastav onih koja im roditelji daju.
Jedna od značajki koja se ističe kod aromatizirane vode je njezina boja. Za razliku od bezlične prozirne tekućine, bočica s umjetnom bojom u sebi privlači malu djecu i oni će je stalno tražiti još. Ipak, pokazalo se da te boje mogu sadržavati tragove žive, kroma, olova i arsena što može rezultirati hiperaktivnošću djeteta.
Velikim dijelom još se ni ne zna kako točno aromatizirana voda djeluje na psihofizičko zdravlje djeteta. Neki sastojci koje sadržava nisu detaljno proučavani pa njihove nuspojave ostaju nepoznate. Primjer su biljni sastojci. Istraživači nisu proučavali većinu ovih biljaka i nisu sigurni u njihove rizike. Do tada bolje je svakako izbjegavati neprovjerene namirnice svima, a posebno najosjetljivijima tj. djeci.
Ponekad je teško riješiti se loših navika kod djeteta, ali postepeno može doći do promjene. Vodite svojim primjerom, izbacite vodu s okusom iz upotrebe pa će vas dijete oponašati. Svaki put kada je žedno ponudite mu običnu vodu i s vremenom bi se trebalo naviknuti na nju. Ako baš nema nikakve šanse da se dijete adaptira na normalnu vodu koristite prirodne okuse primjerice od voća koje vaše dijete voli.
