Koronavirusom u svijetu je trenutno zaraženo više od pola milijuna ljudi, točnije 533 000, a broj umrlih od bolesti Covid -19 prešao je 24 000. U Hrvatskoj posljednji podatci pokazuju da je zaraženo 495 osoba od čega su tri smrtna slučaja.

Vjerojatnost da koronavirus do sada niste shvatili ozbiljno, zasigurno je vrlo mala, no kako bi slika o posljedicama bila još jasnija, predlažemo da pogledate video pluća čovjeka zaraženog koronavirusom, a koji je samo nekoliko dana ranije bio u asimptomatskoj fazi.

Šef torakalne kirurgije Sveučilišne bolnice George Washington, Keith Mortman, objavio je 3D video pluća pacijenta s koronavirusom.

- Videozapis prikazuje pluća muškarca koji je nekoliko dana ranije bio u asimptomatskoj fazi. Sada pacijent ima Covid-19 i pluća mu ne funkcioniraju pravilno, rekao je Mortman za CNN.

- Riječ je o muškarcu (59) s povišenim krvnim tlakom koji ranije nije bio teže bolestan. Sada, suočen s bolešću Covid-19, nalazi se o ozbiljnom stanju. Da bi pravilno disao, potreban mu je respirator, no čini se da ni to nije dovoljno. Također, potreban mu je još jedan stroj koji pomaže cirkulaciji i dopremanju kisika u krv, kaže Mortman.

Područja označena žutom bojom na videu predstavljaju zaražene i upaljene dijelove pluća. 

- Kada se pluća suoče s virusnom infekcijom, organ se krene boriti. Iz skeniranja je jasno da oštećenje nije lokalizirano na jednom području, već prekriva veliku površinu oba plućna krila, pokazujući koliko brzo i agresivno može doći do infekcije, čak i kod mlađih bolesnika, zaključuje Mortman.

- Kod pacijenata kod kojih je došlo do respiratornog zatajenja, do oštećenja pluća dolazi brzo i na velikoj površini organa. Nažalost, jednom kada su oštećena do tog stupnja, plućima će trebati dugo da zacijele, a 2-4% oboljelih neće se uspjeti oporaviti već će podleći bolesti, upozorava Mortman.

Covid-19 je bolest koja napada respiratorni sustav te svojim djelovanjem sprječava pluća da kisikom opskrbljuju krv i uklanjaju ugljični dioksid. Iz tog razloga, pacijenti zaraženi koronavirusom često se bore s balansiranjem razine kisika i ugljičnog dioksida.

Video pri tome dokazuje da simptomi poput suhog kašlja i kratkoće daha ne mogu istinski dočarati utjecaj virusa na tijelo te da je problem koji koronavirus izaziva, daleko ozbiljniji. Mortman smatra da će iz tog razloga, šteta koju uzrokuje virus Sars-CoV-2 za neke biti neizlječiva.

Koronavirusom u svijetu je trenutno zaraženo više od pola milijuna ljudi, točnije 533 000, a broj umrlih od bolesti Covid -19 prešao je 24 000. U Hrvatskoj posljednji podatci pokazuju da je zaraženo 495 osoba od čega su tri smrtna slučaja.

Vjerojatnost da koronavirus do sada niste shvatili ozbiljno, zasigurno je vrlo mala, no kako bi slika o posljedicama bila još jasnija, predlažemo da pogledate video pluća čovjeka zaraženog koronavirusom, a koji je samo nekoliko dana ranije bio u asimptomatskoj fazi.

Šef torakalne kirurgije Sveučilišne bolnice George Washington, Keith Mortman, objavio je 3D video pluća pacijenta s koronavirusom.

- Videozapis prikazuje pluća muškarca koji je nekoliko dana ranije bio u asimptomatskoj fazi. Sada pacijent ima Covid-19 i pluća mu ne funkcioniraju pravilno, rekao je Mortman za CNN.

- Riječ je o muškarcu (59) s povišenim krvnim tlakom koji ranije nije bio teže bolestan. Sada, suočen s bolešću Covid-19, nalazi se o ozbiljnom stanju. Da bi pravilno disao, potreban mu je respirator, no čini se da ni to nije dovoljno. Također, potreban mu je još jedan stroj koji pomaže cirkulaciji i dopremanju kisika u krv, kaže Mortman.

Područja označena žutom bojom na videu predstavljaju zaražene i upaljene dijelove pluća. 

- Kada se pluća suoče s virusnom infekcijom, organ se krene boriti. Iz skeniranja je jasno da oštećenje nije lokalizirano na jednom području, već prekriva veliku površinu oba plućna krila, pokazujući koliko brzo i agresivno može doći do infekcije, čak i kod mlađih bolesnika, zaključuje Mortman.

- Kod pacijenata kod kojih je došlo do respiratornog zatajenja, do oštećenja pluća dolazi brzo i na velikoj površini organa. Nažalost, jednom kada su oštećena do tog stupnja, plućima će trebati dugo da zacijele, a 2-4% oboljelih neće se uspjeti oporaviti već će podleći bolesti, upozorava Mortman.

Covid-19 je bolest koja napada respiratorni sustav te svojim djelovanjem sprječava pluća da kisikom opskrbljuju krv i uklanjaju ugljični dioksid. Iz tog razloga, pacijenti zaraženi koronavirusom često se bore s balansiranjem razine kisika i ugljičnog dioksida.

Video pri tome dokazuje da simptomi poput suhog kašlja i kratkoće daha ne mogu istinski dočarati utjecaj virusa na tijelo te da je problem koji koronavirus izaziva, daleko ozbiljniji. Mortman smatra da će iz tog razloga, šteta koju uzrokuje virus Sars-CoV-2 za neke biti neizlječiva.

Koronavirusom u svijetu je trenutno zaraženo više od pola milijuna ljudi, točnije 533 000, a broj umrlih od bolesti Covid -19 prešao je 24 000. U Hrvatskoj posljednji podatci pokazuju da je zaraženo 495 osoba od čega su tri smrtna slučaja.

Vjerojatnost da koronavirus do sada niste shvatili ozbiljno, zasigurno je vrlo mala, no kako bi slika o posljedicama bila još jasnija, predlažemo da pogledate video pluća čovjeka zaraženog koronavirusom, a koji je samo nekoliko dana ranije bio u asimptomatskoj fazi.

Šef torakalne kirurgije Sveučilišne bolnice George Washington, Keith Mortman, objavio je 3D video pluća pacijenta s koronavirusom.
