Slovenski pedijatri do sada su kod djece otkrili 50-ak slučajeva neobičnih bolesti i komplikacija kod malih pacijenata koji su preboljeli zarazu novim koronavirusom.

Najčešće među njima su multisistemski upalni sindrom u djece (MIS-C), te upala malih krvnih žila povezanih s covid 19 (vaskulitis/vaskulopatija), naveo je u izjavi za medije Tadej Avčin, šef odjela za alergologiju, reumatologiju i kliničku imunologiju na Pedijatrijskoj klinici u Ljubljani.

Tajve pojave kod djece pedijatri su počeli uočavati tek u epidemiji koronavirusa, a pojavile su se do sada kod 48 djece koja su liječena na toj klinici.

Komplikacije kod neke djece javljaju se dva do šest tjedana nakon inficiranja, bilo da se radilo o simptomatskim ili asimptomatskim slučajevima zaraze.

Multisistemski upalni sindrom nastaje uslijed prekomjernog imunološkog odgovora, a djeca su prije dolaska u bolnicu bila zdrava i nisu imala kroničnih bolesti, izjavio je Avčin, dodavši da su se kod onih koji su imali asimptomatsku zarazu komplikacije pojavile kasnije nego kod onih s izraženim simptomima Covida-19.

Multiorganski upalni sindrom trenutno je najčešća imunološki posredovana (neinfektivna) upalna bolest kod djece u Sloveniji, a pedijatri trenutno nemaju podatke o dugotrajnom tijeku i mogućnosti recidiva.

Hospitalizacija traje oko 14 dana, a kod svih pacijeneta do sada se uspjelo postići smanjenje upalnog procesa.

No, dugoročne posljedice, posebno na srce, moći će se procijeniti šest mjeseci nakon pojave bolesti, objasnio je Avčin.

Do sada u Sloveniji zbog ove bolesti kod djece nije bilo smrtnih slučajeva, a prema stručnoj literaturi smrtnost od multiorganskog upalnog sindroma iznosi oko 1,5 posto.

Na Pedijatrijskoj klinici početak bolesti  je prvi put zabilježen kada djeca dobiju neobične osipe na nogama i rukama. To je upala malih krvnih žila, a ta je bolest povezana i s covid 19. "Najčešći su kožni osipi,  a rjeđe komplikacije drugih organskih sustava", objašnjava Avčin.

Slovenski pedijatri do sada su kod djece otkrili 50-ak slučajeva neobičnih bolesti i komplikacija kod malih pacijenata koji su preboljeli zarazu novim koronavirusom.

Najčešće među njima su multisistemski upalni sindrom u djece (MIS-C), te upala malih krvnih žila povezanih s covid 19 (vaskulitis/vaskulopatija), naveo je u izjavi za medije Tadej Avčin, šef odjela za alergologiju, reumatologiju i kliničku imunologiju na Pedijatrijskoj klinici u Ljubljani.

Tajve pojave kod djece pedijatri su počeli uočavati tek u epidemiji koronavirusa, a pojavile su se do sada kod 48 djece koja su liječena na toj klinici.

Komplikacije kod neke djece javljaju se dva do šest tjedana nakon inficiranja, bilo da se radilo o simptomatskim ili asimptomatskim slučajevima zaraze.

Multisistemski upalni sindrom nastaje uslijed prekomjernog imunološkog odgovora, a djeca su prije dolaska u bolnicu bila zdrava i nisu imala kroničnih bolesti, izjavio je Avčin, dodavši da su se kod onih koji su imali asimptomatsku zarazu komplikacije pojavile kasnije nego kod onih s izraženim simptomima Covida-19.

Multiorganski upalni sindrom trenutno je najčešća imunološki posredovana (neinfektivna) upalna bolest kod djece u Sloveniji, a pedijatri trenutno nemaju podatke o dugotrajnom tijeku i mogućnosti recidiva.

Hospitalizacija traje oko 14 dana, a kod svih pacijeneta do sada se uspjelo postići smanjenje upalnog procesa.

No, dugoročne posljedice, posebno na srce, moći će se procijeniti šest mjeseci nakon pojave bolesti, objasnio je Avčin.

Do sada u Sloveniji zbog ove bolesti kod djece nije bilo smrtnih slučajeva, a prema stručnoj literaturi smrtnost od multiorganskog upalnog sindroma iznosi oko 1,5 posto.

Na Pedijatrijskoj klinici početak bolesti  je prvi put zabilježen kada djeca dobiju neobične osipe na nogama i rukama. To je upala malih krvnih žila, a ta je bolest povezana i s covid 19. "Najčešći su kožni osipi,  a rjeđe komplikacije drugih organskih sustava", objašnjava Avčin.

Slovenski pedijatri primjećuju komplikacije kod djece nakon zaraze koronavirusom: zabilježeno 50-ak slučajeva neobičnih bolesti

Slovenski pedijatri do sada su kod djece otkrili 50-ak slučajeva neobičnih bolesti i komplikacija kod malih pacijenata koji su preboljeli zarazu novim koronavirusom.

Najčešće među njima su multisistemski upalni sindrom u djece (MIS-C), te upala malih krvnih žila povezanih s covid 19 (vaskulitis/vaskulopatija), naveo je u izjavi za medije Tadej Avčin, šef odjela za alergologiju, reumatologiju i kliničku imunologiju na Pedijatrijskoj klinici u Ljubljani.

Tajve pojave kod djece pedijatri su počeli uočavati tek u epidemiji koronavirusa, a pojavile su se do sada kod 48 djece koja su liječena na toj klinici.

Komplikacije kod neke djece javljaju se dva do šest tjedana nakon inficiranja, bilo da se radilo o simptomatskim ili asimptomatskim slučajevima zaraze.
