Pacijenti koji dobiju pozitivan PCR test na koronavirus među ostalim problemima imaju i povećani rizik od razvoja mentalnih bolesti, kroničnog umora i problema sa spavanjem, pokazala je nova studija kojom je obuhvaćeno 226.521 osoba iz Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva u razdoblju između veljače i prosinca 2020. godine, prenosi Medical Express.

Istraživanje objavljeno u časopisu JAMA Network Open pokazalo je da osobe koje imaju koronavirus čak šest puta više prijavljuju smetnje kao što je umor ili probleme sa spavanjem od onih koji su dobili negativan test čak i ako nikad prije nisu posjetili liječnika radi istih tegoba.

“Dok je umor očita posljedica covida-19, rizik od razvoja problema sa spavanjem je također vrlo visok”, rekao je jedan od znanstvenika na studiji dr. Matthias Pierce. Zabilježeno je i povećanje prijavljivanja mentalnih bolesti od čak 83 posto nakon što osoba oboli od koronavirusa, ali je dr. Pierce pojasnio da vezu između mentalnih smetnji i covida još treba detaljnije analizirati.

Professor Roger Webb, još jedan od autora studije, pojasnio je kako su njihovi rezultati u skladu s onima dobivenim u drugim državama. "Otkrili smo povećani rizik od mentalnih bolesti, samoozljeđivanja, umora i poremećenih obrazaca spavanja među ljudima koji su bili pozitivni na infekciju tijekom pandemije.”

Veliki je izazov za znanstvenike utvrditi točne uzroke ovih veza. Jako je važno da oboljeli od koronavirusa nauče prepoznavati dugoročne posljedice bolesti kako bi ih mogli prijaviti svojim liječnicima.

Pacijenti koji dobiju pozitivan PCR test na koronavirus među ostalim problemima imaju i povećani rizik od razvoja mentalnih bolesti, kroničnog umora i problema sa spavanjem, pokazala je nova studija kojom je obuhvaćeno 226.521 osoba iz Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva u razdoblju između veljače i prosinca 2020. godine, prenosi Medical Express.

Istraživanje objavljeno u časopisu JAMA Network Open pokazalo je da osobe koje imaju koronavirus čak šest puta više prijavljuju smetnje kao što je umor ili probleme sa spavanjem od onih koji su dobili negativan test čak i ako nikad prije nisu posjetili liječnika radi istih tegoba.

“Dok je umor očita posljedica covida-19, rizik od razvoja problema sa spavanjem je također vrlo visok”, rekao je jedan od znanstvenika na studiji dr. Matthias Pierce. Zabilježeno je i povećanje prijavljivanja mentalnih bolesti od čak 83 posto nakon što osoba oboli od koronavirusa, ali je dr. Pierce pojasnio da vezu između mentalnih smetnji i covida još treba detaljnije analizirati.

Professor Roger Webb, još jedan od autora studije, pojasnio je kako su njihovi rezultati u skladu s onima dobivenim u drugim državama. "Otkrili smo povećani rizik od mentalnih bolesti, samoozljeđivanja, umora i poremećenih obrazaca spavanja među ljudima koji su bili pozitivni na infekciju tijekom pandemije.”

Veliki je izazov za znanstvenike utvrditi točne uzroke ovih veza. Jako je važno da oboljeli od koronavirusa nauče prepoznavati dugoročne posljedice bolesti kako bi ih mogli prijaviti svojim liječnicima.

Pacijenti koji dobiju pozitivan PCR test na koronavirus među ostalim problemima imaju i povećani rizik od razvoja mentalnih bolesti, kroničnog umora i problema sa spavanjem, pokazala je nova studija kojom je obuhvaćeno 226.521 osoba iz Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva u razdoblju između veljače i prosinca 2020. godine, prenosi Medical Express.

Istraživanje objavljeno u časopisu JAMA Network Open pokazalo je da osobe koje imaju koronavirus čak šest puta više prijavljuju smetnje kao što je umor ili probleme sa spavanjem od onih koji su dobili negativan test čak i ako nikad prije nisu posjetili liječnika radi istih tegoba.
