stdClass Object ( [id] => 164360 [title] => Tolkien piše, Dickens čita [alias] => tolkien-pise-dickens-cita [catid] => 264 [published] => 1 [introtext] => [fulltext] => Britanski pisac Michael Tolkien, najstariji unuk autora "Hobbita", napisao je dva dječja fantasy romana na temelju priča koje mu je mnogo slavniji djed čitao dok je bio mali, dok će glumac Gerald Dickens, Charlesov pra-praunuk, posuditi glas za audio-verzije knjiga, prenose britanski mediji.

Oba će djela izići ove godine, objavio je izdavač Thames River Press, a riječ je o romanima nadahnutim djelima književnice Florence Bone.

Prva knjiga, "Wish", nastala je po priči "Rose-Coloured Wish" iz 1923. godine, a govori o dvoje djece koja pokušavaju spasiti selo uz pomoć čarobnih kamenčića za ispunjavanje želja zlog čarobnjaka, ali upadnu u nevolje.

Tolkien je priču prvi put čuo u djetinjstvu od djeda i sada je, kako je rekao, želio "odati počast danas zanemarenoj priči" i "odjenuti original u novo ruho".

"Wish je bezvremena priča u kojoj će djeca uživati još godinama, a Michael Tolkien ju je vratio u život", istaknuo je Dickens.

Druga knjiga, koja će biti objavljena pod naslovom "Rainbow", nastala je po romanu iste autorice iz 1910. godine "The Other side of the Rainbow".

Michael Tolkien rođen je u Birminghamu 1943. Studirao je engleski jezik i književnost, a od 1968. do umirovljenja 1994. radio je kao srednjoškolski profesor. Nakon toga posvetio se pisanju i kritici. Objavio je četiri zbirke poezije.

Prva knjiga, "Wish", nastala je po priči "Rose-Coloured Wish" iz 1923. godine, a govori o dvoje djece koja pokušavaju spasiti selo uz pomoć čarobnih kamenčića za ispunjavanje želja zlog čarobnjaka, ali upadnu u nevolje.

Tolkien je priču prvi put čuo u djetinjstvu od djeda i sada je, kako je rekao, želio "odati počast danas zanemarenoj priči" i "odjenuti original u novo ruho".

"Wish je bezvremena priča u kojoj će djeca uživati još godinama, a Michael Tolkien ju je vratio u život", istaknuo je Dickens.

Druga knjiga, koja će biti objavljena pod naslovom "Rainbow", nastala je po romanu iste autorice iz 1910. godine "The Other side of the Rainbow".

Michael Tolkien rođen je u Birminghamu 1943. Studirao je engleski jezik i književnost, a od 1968. do umirovljenja 1994. radio je kao srednjoškolski profesor. Nakon toga posvetio se pisanju i kritici. Objavio je četiri zbirke poezije.
