Na Baldekinu su porasle ambicije nakon povijesne pobjede nad Cibonom u Zagrebu. Narančasti su htjeli u dva kola ‘skinuti‘ dva velikana. Međutim, potpuno drugačiju računicu imali su na Gripama, tako da su se nade Šibenčana u još jedan lijepi uspjeh raspale kao kula od karata.

Splićani su očito željeli što brže isprati gorak okus od poraza u ABA ligi protiv iste te Cibone i u tome su uspjeli. Momčad trenera Slavena Rimca od prve minute je bila iznimno koncentirana u dalmatinskom derbiju i vrlo brzo stvari stavila pod kontrolu. Pratkički, već nakon prve četvrtine bilo je jasno tko će slaviti u srazu starih rivala iz susjedstva.

Split je startao s visokom petorkom u kojoj su zaigrali Tišma, Funderburk i Ljubičić. Jasno je kako je Rimac htio udariti tamo gdje su Šibenčani najtaniji- pod obručima.

No, domaćini su dobro djelovali u uvodnih nekoliko minuta. Odgovorili su brzom košarkom i s nekoliko ubačaja s distance Hrštića i perkovića poveli (11:8). Međutim, bio je to labuđi pjev Milačićeve momčadi.

Vrlo brzo se razigrao Shorter te uz pomoć Tišme i posebice Funderburka odveo Žute do serije (15:0). U tim momentima potpuno je stao napad Šibenke. Narančasti su više od pet minuta bili bez koša, napade je uglavnom rješavao centar Howard a to obično ne završi dobro.

Premda je Rimac na početku druge četvrtine odlučio odmoriti glavne snage Shortera i Funderburka, prednost Splićana nije padala. Naprotiv, nastavila je rasti do ekspresnih plus 20 (35:15). Jer, tamo gdje je započeo spomenuti dvojac iz SAD-a nastavili su Perković i Sullivan, koji su nemilice trpali koš Narančastih.

Koliko je Split bio raspoložen napadački dovoljno govori podatak da su do 50 koševa stigli već sredinom druge četvrtine. Osim toga, Žuti su vrlo dobro odrađivali posao i u obrani.

‘Zakočili‘ su šibenskog Amerikanca Foremana, koji je ‘uništio‘ Cibonu, ali je ostao ‘hladan‘ kontra Splićana. Naime, Foreman je prvi koš postigao tek u 14. minuti, a tada je pitanje pobjednika već bilo odlučeno.

U trećoj četvrtini se na trenutak činilo da bi Šibenka možda mogla uvesti utakmicu u kakvu-takvu neizvjesnost kada su se raspucali Foreman i Klarin. Ipak, samo se činilo, jer Split je u ovoj utakmici bio gospodar zbivanja na Baldekinu.

Kako je temperametnom Šibeniku kratak put između junaka i tragičara na svojoj koži su osjetili košarkaši i trener Narančastih.

Uoči utakmice trener Šibenke Milačić tražio je podršku navijača. No, pred kraj utakmice je doživio da su mu okrenuli palac dolje i skandirali ‘Milačiću, odlazi!‘. Nisu puno bolje prošli ni igrači koji su dobili porciju uvreda s tribina ‘Igrajte pič..ice‘. Što misle o igri svojih ljubimaca Funcuti su pokazali i gestom da su napustili dvoranu nekoliko minuta prije kraja utakmice.

Na Baldekinu su porasle ambicije nakon povijesne pobjede nad Cibonom u Zagrebu. Narančasti su htjeli u dva kola ‘skinuti‘ dva velikana. Međutim, potpuno drugačiju računicu imali su na Gripama, tako da su se nade Šibenčana u još jedan lijepi uspjeh raspale kao kula od karata.

Splićani su očito željeli što brže isprati gorak okus od poraza u ABA ligi protiv iste te Cibone i u tome su uspjeli. Momčad trenera Slavena Rimca od prve minute je bila iznimno koncentirana u dalmatinskom derbiju i vrlo brzo stvari stavila pod kontrolu. Pratkički, već nakon prve četvrtine bilo je jasno tko će slaviti u srazu starih rivala iz susjedstva.

Split je startao s visokom petorkom u kojoj su zaigrali Tišma, Funderburk i Ljubičić. Jasno je kako je Rimac htio udariti tamo gdje su Šibenčani najtaniji- pod obručima.

No, domaćini su dobro djelovali u uvodnih nekoliko minuta. Odgovorili su brzom košarkom i s nekoliko ubačaja s distance Hrštića i perkovića poveli (11:8). Međutim, bio je to labuđi pjev Milačićeve momčadi.

Vrlo brzo se razigrao Shorter te uz pomoć Tišme i posebice Funderburka odveo Žute do serije (15:0). U tim momentima potpuno je stao napad Šibenke. Narančasti su više od pet minuta bili bez koša, napade je uglavnom rješavao centar Howard a to obično ne završi dobro.

Premda je Rimac na početku druge četvrtine odlučio odmoriti glavne snage Shortera i Funderburka, prednost Splićana nije padala. Naprotiv, nastavila je rasti do ekspresnih plus 20 (35:15). Jer, tamo gdje je započeo spomenuti dvojac iz SAD-a nastavili su Perković i Sullivan, koji su nemilice trpali koš Narančastih.

Koliko je Split bio raspoložen napadački dovoljno govori podatak da su do 50 koševa stigli već sredinom druge četvrtine. Osim toga, Žuti su vrlo dobro odrađivali posao i u obrani.

‘Zakočili‘ su šibenskog Amerikanca Foremana, koji je ‘uništio‘ Cibonu, ali je ostao ‘hladan‘ kontra Splićana. Naime, Foreman je prvi koš postigao tek u 14. minuti, a tada je pitanje pobjednika već bilo odlučeno.

U trećoj četvrtini se na trenutak činilo da bi Šibenka možda mogla uvesti utakmicu u kakvu-takvu neizvjesnost kada su se raspucali Foreman i Klarin. Ipak, samo se činilo, jer Split je u ovoj utakmici bio gospodar zbivanja na Baldekinu.

Kako je temperametnom Šibeniku kratak put između junaka i tragičara na svojoj koži su osjetili košarkaši i trener Narančastih.

Uoči utakmice trener Šibenke Milačić tražio je podršku navijača. No, pred kraj utakmice je doživio da su mu okrenuli palac dolje i skandirali ‘Milačiću, odlazi!‘. Nisu puno bolje prošli ni igrači koji su dobili porciju uvreda s tribina ‘Igrajte pič..ice‘. Što misle o igri svojih ljubimaca Funcuti su pokazali i gestom da su napustili dvoranu nekoliko minuta prije kraja utakmice.

Šibenka nije uspjela ponoviti podvig iz Draženovog doma: navijači okrenuli ‘palac dolje‘ Milačiću

Na Baldekinu su porasle ambicije nakon povijesne pobjede nad Cibonom u Zagrebu. Narančasti su htjeli u dva kola ‘skinuti‘ dva velikana. Međutim, potpuno drugačiju računicu imali su na Gripama, tako da su se nade Šibenčana u još jedan lijepi uspjeh raspale kao kula od karata.

Splićani su očito željeli što brže isprati gorak okus od poraza u ABA ligi protiv iste te Cibone i u tome su uspjeli. Momčad trenera Slavena Rimca od prve minute je bila iznimno koncentirana u dalmatinskom derbiju i vrlo brzo stvari stavila pod kontrolu. Pratkički, već nakon prve četvrtine bilo je jasno tko će slaviti u srazu starih rivala iz susjedstva.

Split je startao s visokom petorkom u kojoj su zaigrali Tišma, Funderburk i Ljubičić. Jasno je kako je Rimac htio udariti tamo gdje su Šibenčani najtaniji- pod obručima.

No, domaćini su dobro djelovali u uvodnih nekoliko minuta. Odgovorili su brzom košarkom i s nekoliko ubačaja s distance Hrštića i perkovića poveli (11:8). Međutim, bio je to labuđi pjev Milačićeve momčadi.

Vrlo brzo se razigrao Shorter te uz pomoć Tišme i posebice Funderburka odveo Žute do serije (15:0). U tim momentima potpuno je stao napad Šibenke. Narančasti su više od pet minuta bili bez koša, napade je uglavnom rješavao centar Howard a to obično ne završi dobro.
