Volimo li mi, Šibenčani, na pravi način (šibenski) sport!? To se pitanje gotovo neizbježno nameće poslije šetnje šibenskim tribinama na različitim prvoligaškim utakmicama u posljednja tri tjedna.
"Narančastima" na Šubićevcu zaista ne cvjetaju ruže ovog proljeća, ali zar susret Šibenika i Osijeka, kao jednog od kandidata za naslov prvaka Hrvatske, nije zaslužio više od petstotinjak gledatelja!? Emotivne lokalpatriotske parole na zidovima dobre, stare dvorane na Baldekinu nisu nimalo u skladu s brojem gledatelja na utakmicama u situaciji kad u Ligi za prvoligaški ostanak nekad slavna Šibenka prosto vapi za navijačkom potporom s tribina.
Veterani i rodbina
Vaterpolisti Solarisa su praktički osigurali mjesto među četiri najbolja hrvatska prvoligaša, što se prije samo dvije sezone činilo gotovo nestvarnim, no pogled na gledalište u zadnje dvije utakmice, odigrane u Crnici, nije bio nimalo ohrabrujući. Neovisno o tome što su "sunčani" pružili više nego dostojan otpor višestrukom europskom prvaku, dubrovačkom Jugu, a potom prosto razbili splitski Mornar, tradicionalno neugodnog suparnika Šibenčanima. Na "vaterpolskim" tribinama dominirali su veterani i rodbina Solarisovih prvotimaca.
Znatiželja nas je odvela i na prvoligašku utakmicu Šibenik – Trešnjevka, u kojoj su domaće igračice ugostile jedan od najboljih hrvatskih sastava, te prosto izgorjele u želji da ostvare "nemoguću misiju" (čitaj: pobjedu). Na utakmicu nas je prosto privukao i niz od tri prvoligaške pobjede (Split, Pula, Zagreb), kojima su košarkašice trenera (i izbornika) Stipe Bralića osigurale prvoligaški ostanak. No slika na tribinama bila je gotovo istovjetna onoj iz Crnice. Realno, mala iznimka bio je mali nogomet. U atraktivnom nadmetanju s Dubrovčanima Funcuti su na pravi način bodrili svoj Šibenik, koji želi pobjeći od neugodnog doigravanja za prvoligaški ostanak.
Nekad bilo...
Dakako, sve spomenuto je to teže kad posegnemo za statistikom iz (bliske) prošlosti. Proljetnu utakmicu Šibenik – Varteks (3:1) ratne 1994. godine promatralo je, vjerovali ili ne, šest tisuća žestokih domaćih navijača! Samo pet mjeseci poslije, na dalmatinski prvoligaški derbi Šibenik – Hajduk (2:2) stiglo je dvostruko prijatelja nogometa. Da ne govorimo o fanatičnoj atmosferi i (pre)punoj dvorani u doba Draženove slavne Šibenke ili tisućama gledatelja na vaterpolskim utakmicama u Crnici. Uostalom, kako zaboraviti nedjeljne matineje ženske košarke, kad bi se na tribinama našlo i više od dvije tisuće gledatelja!?
Slažemo se sa starim "funcutom" Borisom Pelajićem Peleom kad kaže "kako su pobjede najbolji način vraćanja navijača na tribine", ali i vrijedi stara, sportska i ljudska kako svome (klubu) valja pružiti ruku pomoći i kad je najteže!
Konačno, priča o šibenskom sportu ne završava aktualnim zbivanjima u prvoligaškim sastavima. Nešto više pozornosti zaslužuju i mladići, i djevojke, koji tek počinju svoj sportski put. Kako, primjerice, zanemariti podatak što nam ga je otkrio šibenski vaterpolski motorin Tomislav Ninić Cico, a koji govori da Solaris troši godišnje 800 tisuća kuna za natjecanje mlađih kategorija!? Da ne govorimo o priči Željke Tadić-Štrkalj, zadužene za logistiku Šubićevca, koja svakog vikenda mora pripremiti dresove za više od deset natjecateljskih kategorija šibenskog nogometnog prvoligaša!

Volimo li mi, Šibenčani, na pravi način (šibenski) sport!? To se pitanje gotovo neizbježno nameće poslije šetnje šibenskim tribinama na različitim prvoligaškim utakmicama u posljednja tri tjedna.

Emotivne lokalpatriotske parole na zidovima dobre, stare dvorane na Baldekinu nisu nimalo u skladu s brojem gledatelja na utakmicama u situaciji kad u Ligi za prvoligaški ostanak nekad slavna Šibenka prosto vapi za navijačkom potporom s tribina.
Veterani i rodbina
Vaterpolisti Solarisa su praktički osigurali mjesto među četiri najbolja hrvatska prvoligaša, što se prije samo dvije sezone činilo gotovo nestvarnim, no pogled na gledalište u zadnje dvije utakmice, odigrane u Crnici, nije bio nimalo ohrabrujući. Neovisno o tome što su "sunčani" pružili više nego dostojan otpor višestrukom europskom prvaku, dubrovačkom Jugu, a potom prosto razbili splitski Mornar, tradicionalno neugodnog suparnika Šibenčanima. Na "vaterpolskim" tribinama dominirali su veterani i rodbina Solarisovih prvotimaca.
Znatiželja nas je odvela i na prvoligašku utakmicu Šibenik – Trešnjevka, u kojoj su domaće igračice ugostile jedan od najboljih hrvatskih sastava, te prosto izgorjele u želji da ostvare "nemoguću misiju" (čitaj: pobjedu). Na utakmicu nas je prosto privukao i niz od tri prvoligaške pobjede (Split, Pula, Zagreb), kojima su košarkašice trenera (i izbornika) Stipe Bralića osigurale prvoligaški ostanak. No slika na tribinama bila je gotovo istovjetna onoj iz Crnice. Realno, mala iznimka bio je mali nogomet. U atraktivnom nadmetanju s Dubrovčanima Funcuti su na pravi način bodrili svoj Šibenik, koji želi pobjeći od neugodnog doigravanja za prvoligaški ostanak.
Nekad bilo...
Dakako, sve spomenuto je to teže kad posegnemo za statistikom iz (bliske) prošlosti. Proljetnu utakmicu Šibenik – Varteks (3:1) ratne 1994. godine promatralo je, vjerovali ili ne, šest tisuća žestokih domaćih navijača! Samo pet mjeseci poslije, na dalmatinski prvoligaški derbi Šibenik – Hajduk (2:2) stiglo je dvostruko prijatelja nogometa. Da ne govorimo o fanatičnoj atmosferi i (pre)punoj dvorani u doba Draženove slavne Šibenke ili tisućama gledatelja na vaterpolskim utakmicama u Crnici. Uostalom, kako zaboraviti nedjeljne matineje ženske košarke, kad bi se na tribinama našlo i više od dvije tisuće gledatelja!?
Slažemo se sa starim "funcutom" Borisom Pelajićem Peleom kad kaže "kako su pobjede najbolji način vraćanja navijača na tribine", ali i vrijedi stara, sportska i ljudska kako svome (klubu) valja pružiti ruku pomoći i kad je najteže!
Konačno, priča o šibenskom sportu ne završava aktualnim zbivanjima u prvoligaškim sastavima. Nešto više pozornosti zaslužuju i mladići, i djevojke, koji tek počinju svoj sportski put. Kako, primjerice, zanemariti podatak što nam ga je otkrio šibenski vaterpolski motorin Tomislav Ninić Cico, a koji govori da Solaris troši godišnje 800 tisuća kuna za natjecanje mlađih kategorija!? Da ne govorimo o priči Željke Tadić-Štrkalj, zadužene za logistiku Šubićevca, koja svakog vikenda mora pripremiti dresove za više od deset natjecateljskih kategorija šibenskog nogometnog prvoligaša!
