Škole su zatvorene, treninzi odgođeni, sportska natjecanja naprasno prekinuta. Mnoga djeca diljem svijeta, po prvi put u svojim mladim životima, susrela su se sa situacijom u kojoj su primorana ostati kod kuće na nekoliko tjedana, možda i na nekoliko mjeseci. Puno njih ne shvaća što se točno događa, neki misle da roditelji pretjeruju. Neki se boje i više nego što bi trebalo, tjeskobni su i u konstantnom strahu.
Koronavirus se, zasad, nezaustavljivo širi i jako je važno kao pojedinci učiniti sve što je u našoj moći kako bismo to zaustavili. Trebamo li očekivati od naših najmlađih da vode tu bitku s nama?
Jedini odgovor koji stručnjaci nude je potvrdan. Iz više razloga, a iz istih je razloga od ekstremne važnosti da svaki roditelj to osvijesti na vrijeme.
Da bi se djeca trebala držati upravo svih preporuka koje su trenutno na snazi za odrasle osobe, potvrđuje nam dr. Željka Karin, ravnateljica splitskog Nastavnog zavoda za javno zdravstvo.

- Naravno da djeca ne bi trebala van, odnosno, ne bez pratnje roditelja ili ukućana. Nije zabranjeno boraviti u prirodi s ljudima s kojima stanujete, na svježemu zraku - objašnjava liječnica.
No ono što viđamo, kaže nam, nikako nije u skladu s mjerama koje su na snazi. Kako nema škole, djeca borave vani s vršnjacima, u velikim skupinama, na igralištima (neka od njih su od jučer zatvorena, ali ne sva) i oko njih. Šeću po ulici i kvartu, pritom potencijalno šireći virus.
- Mjere su jednostavne. Samo u pratnji roditelja djeca mogu van. Nipošto, nikako da se igraju po spravama po parkovima i igralištima, u velikim skupinama! Apeliram i na naše mlade. Znam iz iskustva, provjereno, da se također okupljaju, ovaj "odmor" od škole iskorištavaju za druženje po iznajmljenim kućama, slavlje... Takvo ponašanje nema smisla, iznimno je opasno! - upozorava.
Djeca su glavni prijenosnici
Postoje sigurno oni roditelji koji misle da se upozorenja naprosto ne odnose na djecu. No upravo su djeca, tumači nam Karin, glavni prijenosnici ove zaraze.
- Ljudi misle da djeca ne obolijevaju, no to je potpuno pogrešno. To što je kod nas bio samo jedan slučaj, ne znači da su pošteđena. Isto tako, mogu virus prenijeti djedu ili baki, ugrožavajući i njih na taj način - kaže nam naša sugovornica.
Kako im objasniti situaciju?
U takvoj situaciji od velike je važnosti s djetetom razgovarati, upozoravaju stručnjaci. Objasniti im što se događa te im osigurati atmosferu prihvaćanja, komunikacije i otvorenosti unutar obitelji.
- Djeca su poput spužvi i mnogo više koriste intuiciju, te prepoznaju emociju straha, kazala nam je u nedavnom razgovoru Lovrenka Britvić, školska psihologinja u Osnovnoj školi Brda. Savjetuje da djeci objasnite situaciju te im odgovorite na pitanja na koja možete.
Sa smjernicama za roditelje izašla je i Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija. Jedna od njih glasi i ovako:
"Razgovarajte s djecom o tome što se događa. Dijelite s njima informacije te upute kako bi i oni usvojili zaštitne mjere i sačuvali vlastito zdravlje. Ragovarajte s djecom kako se ponašati u situacijama kada se oni ili netko od članova obitelji ne osjeća dobro te mora otići u bolnicu".
Djeca različito reagiraju na stres, upozoravaju dalje. Neka su tjeskobna, neka se povlače u sebe, dok neka imaju izljeve bijesa ili čak u odraslijim godinama mokre u krevet.

- posvetite djeci više pozornosti, odvojite vrijeme za njih
- osigurajte vrijeme za zabavu s djecom (zajednička igra, gledanje filmova i crtića...)
- ako niste u mogućnosti biti s djetetom, ključno je osigurati normalnu komunikaciju preko poziva i video poziva
- omogućite da djeca ispunjavaju sve svoje školske obaveze
- osigurajte im vrijeme za odmor
- bavite se zajedničkim hobijem (crtanje, bojanje, igrice, čak i kuhanje te neki kućanski poslovi)

Škole su zatvorene, treninzi odgođeni, sportska natjecanja naprasno prekinuta. Mnoga djeca diljem svijeta, po prvi put u svojim mladim životima, susrela su se sa situacijom u kojoj su primorana ostati kod kuće na nekoliko tjedana, možda i na nekoliko mjeseci. Puno njih ne shvaća što se točno događa, neki misle da roditelji pretjeruju. Neki se boje i više nego što bi trebalo, tjeskobni su i u konstantnom strahu.
Koronavirus se, zasad, nezaustavljivo širi i jako je važno kao pojedinci učiniti sve što je u našoj moći kako bismo to zaustavili. Trebamo li očekivati od naših najmlađih da vode tu bitku s nama?
Jedini odgovor koji stručnjaci nude je potvrdan. Iz više razloga, a iz istih je razloga od ekstremne važnosti da svaki roditelj to osvijesti na vrijeme.
Da bi se djeca trebala držati upravo svih preporuka koje su trenutno na snazi za odrasle osobe, potvrđuje nam dr. Željka Karin, ravnateljica splitskog Nastavnog zavoda za javno zdravstvo.

- Naravno da djeca ne bi trebala van, odnosno, ne bez pratnje roditelja ili ukućana. Nije zabranjeno boraviti u prirodi s ljudima s kojima stanujete, na svježemu zraku - objašnjava liječnica.
No ono što viđamo, kaže nam, nikako nije u skladu s mjerama koje su na snazi. Kako nema škole, djeca borave vani s vršnjacima, u velikim skupinama, na igralištima (neka od njih su od jučer zatvorena, ali ne sva) i oko njih. Šeću po ulici i kvartu, pritom potencijalno šireći virus.
- Mjere su jednostavne. Samo u pratnji roditelja djeca mogu van. Nipošto, nikako da se igraju po spravama po parkovima i igralištima, u velikim skupinama! Apeliram i na naše mlade. Znam iz iskustva, provjereno, da se također okupljaju, ovaj "odmor" od škole iskorištavaju za druženje po iznajmljenim kućama, slavlje... Takvo ponašanje nema smisla, iznimno je opasno! - upozorava.
Djeca su glavni prijenosnici
Postoje sigurno oni roditelji koji misle da se upozorenja naprosto ne odnose na djecu. No upravo su djeca, tumači nam Karin, glavni prijenosnici ove zaraze.
- Ljudi misle da djeca ne obolijevaju, no to je potpuno pogrešno. To što je kod nas bio samo jedan slučaj, ne znači da su pošteđena. Isto tako, mogu virus prenijeti djedu ili baki, ugrožavajući i njih na taj način - kaže nam naša sugovornica.
Kako im objasniti situaciju?
U takvoj situaciji od velike je važnosti s djetetom razgovarati, upozoravaju stručnjaci. Objasniti im što se događa te im osigurati atmosferu prihvaćanja, komunikacije i otvorenosti unutar obitelji.
- Djeca su poput spužvi i mnogo više koriste intuiciju, te prepoznaju emociju straha, kazala nam je u nedavnom razgovoru Lovrenka Britvić, školska psihologinja u Osnovnoj školi Brda. Savjetuje da djeci objasnite situaciju te im odgovorite na pitanja na koja možete.
Sa smjernicama za roditelje izašla je i Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija. Jedna od njih glasi i ovako:
"Razgovarajte s djecom o tome što se događa. Dijelite s njima informacije te upute kako bi i oni usvojili zaštitne mjere i sačuvali vlastito zdravlje. Ragovarajte s djecom kako se ponašati u situacijama kada se oni ili netko od članova obitelji ne osjeća dobro te mora otići u bolnicu".
Djeca različito reagiraju na stres, upozoravaju dalje. Neka su tjeskobna, neka se povlače u sebe, dok neka imaju izljeve bijesa ili čak u odraslijim godinama mokre u krevet.

- posvetite djeci više pozornosti, odvojite vrijeme za njih
- osigurajte vrijeme za zabavu s djecom (zajednička igra, gledanje filmova i crtića...)
- ako niste u mogućnosti biti s djetetom, ključno je osigurati normalnu komunikaciju preko poziva i video poziva
- omogućite da djeca ispunjavaju sve svoje školske obaveze
- osigurajte im vrijeme za odmor
- bavite se zajedničkim hobijem (crtanje, bojanje, igrice, čak i kuhanje te neki kućanski poslovi)
