Najčešća ovisnost u Hrvatskoj je alkoholizam. Kod nas ima oko 250.000 uglavnom muških ovisnika o alkoholu, pokazuje najnovija publikacija Hrvatskog zavoda za javno zdravstvo o mentalnom zdravlju nacije u hrvatskom tranzicijskom društvu, gdje stariji, slabiji i osjetljiviji nisu dovoljno zaštićeni, pa često olakšanje traže u raznim oblicima ovisnosti.

Od 250.000 alkoholičara samo osam posto ih se liječi, rekao je u razgovoru za Hinu psihijatar Ante Bagarić, komentirajući publikaciju u kojoj je objavljeno da je ovisnost o alkoholu 2017. godine bila jedan od vodećih uzroka hospitalizacije muškaraca na psihijatrijskim odjelima.

Ovisnika o alkoholu četiri je puta više među muškom populacijom u odnosu na žene, koje pak na psihijatrijskom liječenju završavaju najčešće zbog depresije. Teško je jednostavno utvrditi koji su razlozi za takvu podjelu, kaže Bagarić, jer na mentalne poremećaje utječu biologijski, psihološki i socijalni faktori.

Najčešća ovisnost u Hrvatskoj je alkoholizam. Kod nas ima oko 250.000 uglavnom muških ovisnika o alkoholu, pokazuje najnovija publikacija Hrvatskog zavoda za javno zdravstvo o mentalnom zdravlju nacije u hrvatskom tranzicijskom društvu, gdje stariji, slabiji i osjetljiviji nisu dovoljno zaštićeni, pa često olakšanje traže u raznim oblicima ovisnosti.

Od 250.000 alkoholičara samo osam posto ih se liječi, rekao je u razgovoru za Hinu psihijatar Ante Bagarić, komentirajući publikaciju u kojoj je objavljeno da je ovisnost o alkoholu 2017. godine bila jedan od vodećih uzroka hospitalizacije muškaraca na psihijatrijskim odjelima.

Ovisnika o alkoholu četiri je puta više među muškom populacijom u odnosu na žene, koje pak na psihijatrijskom liječenju završavaju najčešće zbog depresije. Teško je jednostavno utvrditi koji su razlozi za takvu podjelu, kaže Bagarić, jer na mentalne poremećaje utječu biologijski, psihološki i socijalni faktori.
