Pred Hrvatskom je prvi toplinski val.

- Očekujemo početak toplinskog vala u utorak ili srijedu. Maksimalne dnevne temperature bit će između 30 i 35 Celzijevih stupnjeva. U ovom trenutku ne možemo pouzdano prognozirati koliko će potrajati. Zbog velikog razilaženja u modelima zasad nije jasno hoće li već u idući petak vrućine popustiti ili će se protegnuti i na idući vikend. Pouzdaniju prognozu imat ćemo u nedjelju – rekla nam je meteorologinja Ivana Havrle Kozarić iz DHMZ-a.

Pojava prvog toplinskog vala u godini u Hrvatskoj, a i šire u regiji, varira od godine do godine. Nije neuobičajeno da se on javi sredinom lipnja kao 2019. ili krajem lipnja kao prošle godine. Da se toplinski valovi u Hrvatskoj mogu pojaviti i prije lipnja, pokazuju podaci s početka 2000-ih.

Primjerice, 2003. godine prvi toplinski valovi praćen sušom zabilježen je još početkom svibnja. Uslijedila je serija toplinskih valova u lipnju, srpnju i kolovozu 2003. godine, ne samo u Hrvatskoj nego i diljem Europe.

Dio europskih zemalja već se suočava s neuobičajeno visokim temperaturama za lipanj. Temperature diljem Španjolske i Francuske već su nekoliko dana znatno iznad prosjeka za ovo doba godine, a očekuje se da će vrućina dostići vrhunac ovog vikenda. U četvrtak poslijepodne u gradu St-Jean-de-Minervois u južnoj Francuskoj izmjerena je temperatura od 40 Celzijevih stupnjeva. Prema Meteo France, tako visoka temperatura u ovo doba godine dosad nije zabilježena u Francuskoj.

I Velika Britanija zadnjih dana bilježi visoke temperature neuobičajene za lipanj. Vrući zrak koji se širi iz sjeverne Afrike, Španjolske i Portugala danas bi mogao rezultirati temperaturama od 33-34 Celzijeva stupnja na jugoistoku Otoka. U posljednja tri desetljeća Velika Britanija je postala toplija za 0,9 Celzijevih stupnjeva dok je 10 najtoplijih godina od 1884. godine zabilježeno od 2002. godine.

I niz američkih saveznih država suočava se posljednjih dana s ekstremnim vremenskim događajima. U istočnoj Montani i Wyomingu poplave biblijskih razmjera uništile su mostove, odnijele kuće i prisilile na evakuaciju više od 10.000 posjetitelja iz Nacionalnog parka Yellowstone. Početkom ovog tjedna zbog snažnih grmljavinskih oluja oko pola milijuna američkih kućanstava na Srednjem zapadu ostalo je bez električne energije. Najgore je bilo u Ohiju gdje je 360.000 kućanstava bilo u mraku. Istodobno, oko 100 milijuna Amerikanaca od Nebraske do Južne Karoline suočava se s ekstremno visokim temperaturama koje se penju i preko 40 Celzijevih stupnjeva.

- Ljeto je postalo sezona opasnosti, a primjećujemo da se ovakve ekstremne vrste događaja bilježe sve ranije i češće te istodobno. To vam samo pokazuje koliko je naša infrastruktura ranjiva i da će ovo postati sve problematičnije – rekla je za Washington Post Rachel Licker, glavna klimatologinja u Uniji zabrinutih znanstvenika.

Ističe kako je Srednji zapad na udaru ekstremnih vremenskih događaja: regija koja obuhvaća 12 saveznih država na srednjem sjevernom i sjeveroistočnom dijelu SAD-a već se u svibnju suočila s neuobičajeno ranim toplinskim valom. Zaredale se vrućine, a u međuvremenu i jaka grmljavinska nevremena i tornada. Dok veći dio zapada zemlje trpi sušu bez presedana, studija objavljena prošle godine pokazala je da je na sjeveroistoku SAD-a zabilježen porast ekstremnih padalina od 1996. godine za 53 posto.

No, nastavimo li s emisijom stakleničkih plinova sadašnjim ritmom, budućnost će biti sve toplija i teže podnošljiva. - Ideja da možemo nastaviti emitirati stakleničke plinove i kasnije se iz toga izvući adaptacijom jednostavno nema smisla - rekao je za Washington Post Camilo Mora, klimatolog sa Sveučilišta Havaji.

Pred Hrvatskom je prvi toplinski val.

- Očekujemo početak toplinskog vala u utorak ili srijedu. Maksimalne dnevne temperature bit će između 30 i 35 Celzijevih stupnjeva. U ovom trenutku ne možemo pouzdano prognozirati koliko će potrajati. Zbog velikog razilaženja u modelima zasad nije jasno hoće li već u idući petak vrućine popustiti ili će se protegnuti i na idući vikend. Pouzdaniju prognozu imat ćemo u nedjelju – rekla nam je meteorologinja Ivana Havrle Kozarić iz DHMZ-a.

Pojava prvog toplinskog vala u godini u Hrvatskoj, a i šire u regiji, varira od godine do godine. Nije neuobičajeno da se on javi sredinom lipnja kao 2019. ili krajem lipnja kao prošle godine. Da se toplinski valovi u Hrvatskoj mogu pojaviti i prije lipnja, pokazuju podaci s početka 2000-ih.

Primjerice, 2003. godine prvi toplinski valovi praćen sušom zabilježen je još početkom svibnja. Uslijedila je serija toplinskih valova u lipnju, srpnju i kolovozu 2003. godine, ne samo u Hrvatskoj nego i diljem Europe.

Dio europskih zemalja već se suočava s neuobičajeno visokim temperaturama za lipanj. Temperature diljem Španjolske i Francuske već su nekoliko dana znatno iznad prosjeka za ovo doba godine, a očekuje se da će vrućina dostići vrhunac ovog vikenda. U četvrtak poslijepodne u gradu St-Jean-de-Minervois u južnoj Francuskoj izmjerena je temperatura od 40 Celzijevih stupnjeva. Prema Meteo France, tako visoka temperatura u ovo doba godine dosad nije zabilježena u Francuskoj.

I Velika Britanija zadnjih dana bilježi visoke temperature neuobičajene za lipanj. Vrući zrak koji se širi iz sjeverne Afrike, Španjolske i Portugala danas bi mogao rezultirati temperaturama od 33-34 Celzijeva stupnja na jugoistoku Otoka. U posljednja tri desetljeća Velika Britanija je postala toplija za 0,9 Celzijevih stupnjeva dok je 10 najtoplijih godina od 1884. godine zabilježeno od 2002. godine.

I niz američkih saveznih država suočava se posljednjih dana s ekstremnim vremenskim događajima. U istočnoj Montani i Wyomingu poplave biblijskih razmjera uništile su mostove, odnijele kuće i prisilile na evakuaciju više od 10.000 posjetitelja iz Nacionalnog parka Yellowstone. Početkom ovog tjedna zbog snažnih grmljavinskih oluja oko pola milijuna američkih kućanstava na Srednjem zapadu ostalo je bez električne energije. Najgore je bilo u Ohiju gdje je 360.000 kućanstava bilo u mraku. Istodobno, oko 100 milijuna Amerikanaca od Nebraske do Južne Karoline suočava se s ekstremno visokim temperaturama koje se penju i preko 40 Celzijevih stupnjeva.

- Ljeto je postalo sezona opasnosti, a primjećujemo da se ovakve ekstremne vrste događaja bilježe sve ranije i češće te istodobno. To vam samo pokazuje koliko je naša infrastruktura ranjiva i da će ovo postati sve problematičnije – rekla je za Washington Post Rachel Licker, glavna klimatologinja u Uniji zabrinutih znanstvenika.

Ističe kako je Srednji zapad na udaru ekstremnih vremenskih događaja: regija koja obuhvaća 12 saveznih država na srednjem sjevernom i sjeveroistočnom dijelu SAD-a već se u svibnju suočila s neuobičajeno ranim toplinskim valom. Zaredale se vrućine, a u međuvremenu i jaka grmljavinska nevremena i tornada. Dok veći dio zapada zemlje trpi sušu bez presedana, studija objavljena prošle godine pokazala je da je na sjeveroistoku SAD-a zabilježen porast ekstremnih padalina od 1996. godine za 53 posto.

U Hrvatsku stiže prvi toplinski val ove godine: ‘Još uvijek ne znamo koliko će potrajati‘

Pred Hrvatskom je prvi toplinski val.

- Očekujemo početak toplinskog vala u utorak ili srijedu. Maksimalne dnevne temperature bit će između 30 i 35 Celzijevih stupnjeva. U ovom trenutku ne možemo pouzdano prognozirati koliko će potrajati. Zbog velikog razilaženja u modelima zasad nije jasno hoće li već u idući petak vrućine popustiti ili će se protegnuti i na idući vikend. Pouzdaniju prognozu imat ćemo u nedjelju – rekla nam je meteorologinja Ivana Havrle Kozarić iz DHMZ-a.

Pojava prvog toplinskog vala u godini u Hrvatskoj, a i šire u regiji, varira od godine do godine. Nije neuobičajeno da se on javi sredinom lipnja kao 2019. ili krajem lipnja kao prošle godine. Da se toplinski valovi u Hrvatskoj mogu pojaviti i prije lipnja, pokazuju podaci s početka 2000-ih.

Primjerice, 2003. godine prvi toplinski valovi praćen sušom zabilježen je još početkom svibnja. Uslijedila je serija toplinskih valova u lipnju, srpnju i kolovozu 2003. godine, ne samo u Hrvatskoj nego i diljem Europe.

Dio europskih zemalja već se suočava s neuobičajeno visokim temperaturama za lipanj. Temperature diljem Španjolske i Francuske već su nekoliko dana znatno iznad prosjeka za ovo doba godine, a očekuje se da će vrućina dostići vrhunac ovog vikenda. U četvrtak poslijepodne u gradu St-Jean-de-Minervois u južnoj Francuskoj izmjerena je temperatura od 40 Celzijevih stupnjeva. Prema Meteo France, tako visoka temperatura u ovo doba godine dosad nije zabilježena u Francuskoj.
