Kao i cijela Hrvatska, i Dalmacija se može pohvaliti bogatstvom biljnog i životinjskog svijeta, s onim što u ovo doba tehnološkog napretka u našem okružju priželjkujemo i što zovemo biološkom raznolikošću.

Pa ipak, čini se, da ta želja i spoznaja imaju ozbiljnih rupa kad su u pitanju prirodni okoliš naselja i gradova, pa i u našeg Šibenika. Neki se još sjećaju vremena kad se u vrtovima i parkovima moglo vidjeti guštera zelembaća, ježa, kakvu sitnu zmiju, a nad krovovima kuća jata lastavica, čuti cvrkut vrabaca, na dimnjaku vidjeti sovu, ćuka, crnoga kosa.

Od svega toga, nažalost, danas imamo samo ostatke i sjećanja. Nestale su, kao u filmu "ptice s neba". Osim golubova koji su se jedini održali, čak i namnožili.

Tako možemo vidjeti jata sivih golubova kako se u parkovima spuštaju na tlo u lepršavoj igri i potrazi na hranom.

Ima građana koji ih ni jednoga dana ne zaboravljaju.

Zavežljaj hrane

Poput Jagode Barin koja sa zavežljajem hrane za njene ljubimca redovito obilazi neke lokacije gdje se golubovi okupljaju.

Kad smo je susreli kako na starome pazaru kod kazališta hrani manju skupinu sivih golubova što veselo gaču, rekla nam je kako životinje voli kao i ljude i da za ptice odvaja od svojih skromnih mogućnosti i kupuje im zob, pšenicu, ječam.

- Jesam li sjela negdje na klupu, evo ti ih. Prepoznaju me. Vide to i turisti pa im i oni štogod dobace. Osobito, kako sam primijetila – Japanci. Raduje me dio dana provesti sa pticama.

Da ljubav prema letećim ljubimcima nije svojstvena samo odraslima, svjedoči i fotografija koju smo snimili još 2011. na Maloj loži, Trgu Ivana Pavla II., kad dražesna, marljiva djevojčica upravo prilazi nahraniti ptice.

Na kraju, zbilo se još nešto.

Prije neki dan, vraćajući se iz grada, zatekli smo prizor pred vratima dvorišta naše kuće kad je skakutalo pet - šest golubova gdje smo ih ranije rijetko viđali. Pohitali smo i donijeli im obilan obrok.

Kao i cijela Hrvatska, i Dalmacija se može pohvaliti bogatstvom biljnog i životinjskog svijeta, s onim što u ovo doba tehnološkog napretka u našem okružju priželjkujemo i što zovemo biološkom raznolikošću.

Neki se još sjećaju vremena kad se u vrtovima i parkovima moglo vidjeti guštera zelembaća, ježa, kakvu sitnu zmiju, a nad krovovima kuća jata lastavica, čuti cvrkut vrabaca, na dimnjaku vidjeti sovu, ćuka, crnoga kosa.

Od svega toga, nažalost, danas imamo samo ostatke i sjećanja. Nestale su, kao u filmu "ptice s neba". Osim golubova koji su se jedini održali, čak i namnožili.

Tako možemo vidjeti jata sivih golubova kako se u parkovima spuštaju na tlo u lepršavoj igri i potrazi na hranom.

Ima građana koji ih ni jednoga dana ne zaboravljaju.

Zavežljaj hrane

Poput Jagode Barin koja sa zavežljajem hrane za njene ljubimca redovito obilazi neke lokacije gdje se golubovi okupljaju.

Kad smo je susreli kako na starome pazaru kod kazališta hrani manju skupinu sivih golubova što veselo gaču, rekla nam je kako životinje voli kao i ljude i da za ptice odvaja od svojih skromnih mogućnosti i kupuje im zob, pšenicu, ječam.

- Jesam li sjela negdje na klupu, evo ti ih. Prepoznaju me. Vide to i turisti pa im i oni štogod dobace. Osobito, kako sam primijetila – Japanci. Raduje me dio dana provesti sa pticama.

Da ljubav prema letećim ljubimcima nije svojstvena samo odraslima, svjedoči i fotografija koju smo snimili još 2011. na Maloj loži, Trgu Ivana Pavla II., kad dražesna, marljiva djevojčica upravo prilazi nahraniti ptice.

Na kraju, zbilo se još nešto.

Prije neki dan, vraćajući se iz grada, zatekli smo prizor pred vratima dvorišta naše kuće kad je skakutalo pet - šest golubova gdje smo ih ranije rijetko viđali. Pohitali smo i donijeli im obilan obrok.

Kao i cijela Hrvatska, i Dalmacija se može pohvaliti bogatstvom biljnog i životinjskog svijeta, s onim što u ovo doba tehnološkog napretka u našem okružju priželjkujemo i što zovemo biološkom raznolikošću.

Pa ipak, čini se, da ta želja i spoznaja imaju ozbiljnih rupa kad su u pitanju prirodni okoliš naselja i gradova, pa i u našeg Šibenika.
