Stoljeće i pol stara murva kod crkve sv. Nikole nije jedino šibensko "super" drvo, nezaobilazno u zelenoj turi koju su osmislili šibenski vodički kako bi turistima i svojim sugrađanima pokazali da i Šibenik ima svoje zelene uzdanice, makar u skromnom broju i površini koju zauzimaju! Neveliko stabalce na malom trgu iznad Medulića, točnije ispred ureda gradske Turističke zajednice, dio je šibenske zelene priče. Riječ je o japanskoj sofori, stablu koje zapravo potječe iz Kine, a slično je bagremu koje kod nas raste, samo što nema trnje.

Spomenuta sofora nevjerojatno je stablo, a s obzirom da raste pod kutom od skoro 45 stupnjeva, vjerojatno je i najnakrivljenije stablo u Šibeniku i okolici. I nije to jedina njezina posebnost. Sofora ispred šibenskog TZ-a jedino je drvo u gradu, možda i u županiji, koje ima "štaku", kako se, zbog iskrivljenog raste ne bi "prevrnula".
Iako ne izgleda baš najzdravije s obzirom na raspucanu koru debla, njezine su grane i ovog proljeća prolistale, pa će neuništiva sofora i ove sezone velikim grozdovima svojih bijelih cvijetova uskoro miristati cijelim trgićem.

Sofori je, upravo zbog toga što se tako jako nakrivila, svojedobno prijetila motorna pila iz Zelenog grada. Bojali su se, valjda, da ne padne i ozlijedi prolaznike. No, stablo je spašeno i ostalo je na životu zahvaljujući angažmanu šibenskih vodiča iz zelene ture i TZ-a Šibenik koji su smatrali da motorna pila nije jedino rješenje te da postoje drugi načini.
-Postojala je ideja Zvonimira Vile koju je Turistička zajednica podržala. Ideja je bila da sofora dobije drveni potporanj. To bi zapravo bila drvena skulptura šibenskog težaka koja bi na leđima nosio soforu, ali to u gradskoj upravi nisu prihvatili – kazao je direktor TZ Šibenik Dino Karađole.
Sofora je na kraju dobila potporanj, ali ne drveni nego metalni koji i dalje tu stoji. Ovaj put očito uz blagoslov grada. Stablo se više ne bi smjelo kriviti, no da je cijeli postao obavljen bez dubljeg, pogotovo stručnog razmišljanja, najbolje govori to da je metalna "štaka" za deblo pričvršćena metalnim vijcima!

Koliko će, sirota, onako kriva i s novim rupama u "tijelu", još rasti i živjeti, može se, ovako laički, samo nagađati. No, dobra je vijest, da je sofora osigurala svoju nasljednicu. Jednom kad joj dođe kraj i nakon sofore imat ćemo soforu! Naime, uz staro deblo niknula je jedna mladica. Njezin rast i razvoj budno će, uvjereni smo, pratiti iz TZ Šibenik.

Stoljeće i pol stara murva kod crkve sv. Nikole nije jedino šibensko "super" drvo, nezaobilazno u zelenoj turi koju su osmislili šibenski vodički kako bi turistima i svojim sugrađanima pokazali da i Šibenik ima svoje zelene uzdanice, makar u skromnom broju i površini koju zauzimaju! Neveliko stabalce na malom trgu iznad Medulića, točnije ispred ureda gradske Turističke zajednice, dio je šibenske zelene priče. Riječ je o japanskoj sofori, stablu koje zapravo potječe iz Kine, a slično je bagremu koje kod nas raste, samo što nema trnje.

Spomenuta sofora nevjerojatno je stablo, a s obzirom da raste pod kutom od skoro 45 stupnjeva, vjerojatno je i najnakrivljenije stablo u Šibeniku i okolici. I nije to jedina njezina posebnost. Sofora ispred šibenskog TZ-a jedino je drvo u gradu, možda i u županiji, koje ima "štaku", kako se, zbog iskrivljenog raste ne bi "prevrnula".
Iako ne izgleda baš najzdravije s obzirom na raspucanu koru debla, njezine su grane i ovog proljeća prolistale, pa će neuništiva sofora i ove sezone velikim grozdovima svojih bijelih cvijetova uskoro miristati cijelim trgićem.

Sofori je, upravo zbog toga što se tako jako nakrivila, svojedobno prijetila motorna pila iz Zelenog grada. Bojali su se, valjda, da ne padne i ozlijedi prolaznike. No, stablo je spašeno i ostalo je na životu zahvaljujući angažmanu šibenskih vodiča iz zelene ture i TZ-a Šibenik koji su smatrali da motorna pila nije jedino rješenje te da postoje drugi načini.
-Postojala je ideja Zvonimira Vile koju je Turistička zajednica podržala. Ideja je bila da sofora dobije drveni potporanj. To bi zapravo bila drvena skulptura šibenskog težaka koja bi na leđima nosio soforu, ali to u gradskoj upravi nisu prihvatili – kazao je direktor TZ Šibenik Dino Karađole.
Sofora je na kraju dobila potporanj, ali ne drveni nego metalni koji i dalje tu stoji. Ovaj put očito uz blagoslov grada. Stablo se više ne bi smjelo kriviti, no da je cijeli postao obavljen bez dubljeg, pogotovo stručnog razmišljanja, najbolje govori to da je metalna "štaka" za deblo pričvršćena metalnim vijcima!

Koliko će, sirota, onako kriva i s novim rupama u "tijelu", još rasti i živjeti, može se, ovako laički, samo nagađati. No, dobra je vijest, da je sofora osigurala svoju nasljednicu. Jednom kad joj dođe kraj i nakon sofore imat ćemo soforu! Naime, uz staro deblo niknula je jedna mladica. Njezin rast i razvoj budno će, uvjereni smo, pratiti iz TZ Šibenik.
