U suradnji s Hrvatskim neurološkim društvom, od 8. do 10. listopada organiziran je stručni skup zdravstvenih djelatnika pod nazivom „FRKA Akademija – Svakome treba zagrljaj, svakome treba GUTljaj“ u Amadria Park – Hotel Ivan u Šibeniku. Tim je povodom nastavljena javnozdravstvena kampanja podizanja svijesti o disfagiji kao nedovoljno prepoznatom medicinskom problemu koja je započela u lipnju 2021. godine kada se po prvi puta ikad u Hrvatskoj obilježio međunarodni mjesec disfagije.
Cilj ovog skupa bio je osvijestiti i podsjetiti zdravstvene djelatnike na sve veću učestalost disfagije u populaciji, a istovremeno dodatno naglasiti da se odgovarajućim pristupom i nutritivnom potporom može još više pomoći oboljelima i posljedično im povećati kvalitetu života.
Stručnom skupu su nazočili mnogi ugledni hrvatski liječnici i zdravstveni profesionalci koji su svojim predavanjima i stručnim prikazima kliničke prakse nastojali prenijeti znanja i iskustva ostalim uzvanicima. Glavne teme skupa bile su vezane uz samu bolest pa se, tom prilikom, raspravljalo o važnosti kliničke prehrane u neuroloških bolesnika, uzrocima i posljedicama disfagije, njenom liječenju, terapiji, rehabilitaciji akta gutanja, ali i samoj prehrani osoba s disfagijom.
Poseban osvrt na manjak prepoznatosti disfagije kao medicinskog stanja s kojim se sve učestalije susreću pacijenti dala je prof.dr.sc. Zdravka Poljaković, spec. neurologije te predsjednica Hrvatskog neurološkog društva koja je svojim izlaganjem započela predavanja na „FRKA Akademiji“ te tom prilikom pojasnila:
- Disfagija je stanje u kojem gutanje uzrokuje bol ili je ono potpuno onemogućeno, a najčešće se javlja kod neuroloških i onkoloških pacijenata. Uzroci disfagije mogu biti razni, no najčešći su moždani udar, demencija, multipla skleroza, ali i starenje pri čemu se gubi koordinacija tijekom akta gutanja“. Ono što smatra izrazito bitnim u prepoznavanju i liječenju disfagije jest postavljanje ciljeva pred struku kako bi osobe s disfagijom na vrijeme započele liječenje. „U radu s pacijentima koji boluju od disfagije iznimno je važno postaviti tri cilja: educirati, promijeniti i rehabilitirati - zaključila je prof.dr.sc. Poljaković.
Uz mnoge teme, jedna od ključnih poruka skupa bila je i važnost kliničke prehrane, kao i mogućnosti koje u nutritivnom zbrinjavanju osoba s disfagijom pružaju primjena enteralne i parenteralne prehrane. Enteralna prehrana se posebno istaknula zbog mogućnosti korištenja gotovih ugušćenih pripravaka kao nadopuna nutritivnom unosu kod osoba s disfagijom, a na taj se način dodatno sprječava pojava pothranjenosti kao štetnog stanja u oboljele osobe.
Kako bi liječenje disfagije bilo uspješno, potreban je interdisciplinaran tim stručnjaka koji se sastoji od neurologa, logopeda i nutricionista s ciljem otkrivanja, liječenja i nutritivne brige osobe koja boluje od disfagije.
- Uloga logopeda unutar tima je nezamjenjiva, isto kao i uloga neurologa i nutricionista. Logoped u samom početku pruža značajne informacije u kliničkoj procjeni disfagije te rehabilitaciji akta gutanja - izjavila je Kornelija Berečić, mag. logopedije.

U suradnji s Hrvatskim neurološkim društvom, od 8. do 10. listopada organiziran je stručni skup zdravstvenih djelatnika pod nazivom „FRKA Akademija – Svakome treba zagrljaj, svakome treba GUTljaj“ u Amadria Park – Hotel Ivan u Šibeniku. Tim je povodom nastavljena javnozdravstvena kampanja podizanja svijesti o disfagiji kao nedovoljno prepoznatom medicinskom problemu koja je započela u lipnju 2021. godine kada se po prvi puta ikad u Hrvatskoj obilježio međunarodni mjesec disfagije.
Cilj ovog skupa bio je osvijestiti i podsjetiti zdravstvene djelatnike na sve veću učestalost disfagije u populaciji, a istovremeno dodatno naglasiti da se odgovarajućim pristupom i nutritivnom potporom može još više pomoći oboljelima i posljedično im povećati kvalitetu života.
Stručnom skupu su nazočili mnogi ugledni hrvatski liječnici i zdravstveni profesionalci koji su svojim predavanjima i stručnim prikazima kliničke prakse nastojali prenijeti znanja i iskustva ostalim uzvanicima. Glavne teme skupa bile su vezane uz samu bolest pa se, tom prilikom, raspravljalo o važnosti kliničke prehrane u neuroloških bolesnika, uzrocima i posljedicama disfagije, njenom liječenju, terapiji, rehabilitaciji akta gutanja, ali i samoj prehrani osoba s disfagijom.
Poseban osvrt na manjak prepoznatosti disfagije kao medicinskog stanja s kojim se sve učestalije susreću pacijenti dala je prof.dr.sc. Zdravka Poljaković, spec. neurologije te predsjednica Hrvatskog neurološkog društva koja je svojim izlaganjem započela predavanja na „FRKA Akademiji“ te tom prilikom pojasnila:
- Disfagija je stanje u kojem gutanje uzrokuje bol ili je ono potpuno onemogućeno, a najčešće se javlja kod neuroloških i onkoloških pacijenata. Uzroci disfagije mogu biti razni, no najčešći su moždani udar, demencija, multipla skleroza, ali i starenje pri čemu se gubi koordinacija tijekom akta gutanja“. Ono što smatra izrazito bitnim u prepoznavanju i liječenju disfagije jest postavljanje ciljeva pred struku kako bi osobe s disfagijom na vrijeme započele liječenje. „U radu s pacijentima koji boluju od disfagije iznimno je važno postaviti tri cilja: educirati, promijeniti i rehabilitirati - zaključila je prof.dr.sc. Poljaković.
Uz mnoge teme, jedna od ključnih poruka skupa bila je i važnost kliničke prehrane, kao i mogućnosti koje u nutritivnom zbrinjavanju osoba s disfagijom pružaju primjena enteralne i parenteralne prehrane. Enteralna prehrana se posebno istaknula zbog mogućnosti korištenja gotovih ugušćenih pripravaka kao nadopuna nutritivnom unosu kod osoba s disfagijom, a na taj se način dodatno sprječava pojava pothranjenosti kao štetnog stanja u oboljele osobe.
Kako bi liječenje disfagije bilo uspješno, potreban je interdisciplinaran tim stručnjaka koji se sastoji od neurologa, logopeda i nutricionista s ciljem otkrivanja, liječenja i nutritivne brige osobe koja boluje od disfagije.
- Uloga logopeda unutar tima je nezamjenjiva, isto kao i uloga neurologa i nutricionista. Logoped u samom početku pruža značajne informacije u kliničkoj procjeni disfagije te rehabilitaciji akta gutanja - izjavila je Kornelija Berečić, mag. logopedije.
