U raskoši prirode, mira i kontemplacije, malobrojna zajednica visovačkih redovnika i novaka dočekuje uskrsnuće Kristovo s molitvama i pripremama otoka usred Krke za hodočasnike i prve ovogodišnje turiste.
Nakon tolikih bura i vjetrova što su vitlali Visovačkim jezerom, po zelenoj umirenoj površini klizali smo brodom "Dika" ka obali otoka utonulog u bujnu vegetaciju proljeća.

"Dika" je dobila ime po nadimku visovačkog fratra fra Ivana Ušljebrke, omiljenog među pukom i vjernicima s prostora rijeke Krke, poznatog po svojoj dobrostivosti, druželjubivog i marnoga pastira prema svakome tko kroči na Visovac. Bio je na diku svima.
Nekad je to bio jedan od velikih čamaca za spašavanje na nekom brodu za krstarenje, takozvani life boat. Pa bi se moglo reći da je sada u službi za duhovnost onih koji njime plove.
Na Visovcu nas je, u odsutnosti gvardijana fra Marka Nimca dočekao domagistar novicijata fra Stojan Damjanović, koji nas je uputio razgledati dio samostanskoga muzeja, koji se sada obnavlja i proširuje s drugim bogatim sadržajima, nakon velike izložbe bogatih predmeta i artefakata u Zagrebu prije godinu dana. U muzeju je poznata slika Marije Magdalene s djetetom, replika originala slikara Tizianove škole.
- Uobičajeno je, kazuje fra Stojan, da vjernički puk hodočasti Gospi Visovačkoj od Milosti u svako doba, pa i u vrijeme velikih blagdana. Ali te blagdane ponajprije štuju u svojim župama, a na Visovac u takve dane dolaze moliti Gospi za milost i položiti zavjete. A osobito vrlo masovno, 2. kolovoza na blagdan Gospe od Anđela.
Inače, dodaje fra Stojan, napokon su nam počeli dolaziti i turisti, jer voze brodovi Nacionalnog parka Krka, pa se i za njih pripremamo. Napokon, popustila je i Korona.

U šetnji otokom susreli smo dvoje mladih iz Austrije koji su na Visovac došli brodom "Vuk Mandušić" iz flote Nacionalnog parka. Kazali su nam da nisu mogli zamisliti da na hrvatskim rijekama postoji i takav otok kao što je Visovac, "pravi kutak rajske prirode", kako su rekli.
U crkvi otvorenoj za posjetitelje, prišli smo oltaru sa slikom Gospe koja drži Isusa a uz nju su sv. Franjo i sv. Ivan Krstitelj. Sliku su prije više od pola tisućljeća na Visovac donijeli franjevci iz Kraljeve Sutjeske u Bosni, pošto je Visovac u doba turskih osvajanja u vrijeme Kandijskog rata u 17. stoljeću bio poharan, a fratri morali pobjeći u Šibenik, u samostan sv. Lovre.
Kopija te znamenite Gospine slike u srebrenom okviru nosi se redovito u svim procesijama u ophodu njenim otokom.

U raskoši prirode, mira i kontemplacije, malobrojna zajednica visovačkih redovnika i novaka dočekuje uskrsnuće Kristovo s molitvama i pripremama otoka usred Krke za hodočasnike i prve ovogodišnje turiste.
Nakon tolikih bura i vjetrova što su vitlali Visovačkim jezerom, po zelenoj umirenoj površini klizali smo brodom "Dika" ka obali otoka utonulog u bujnu vegetaciju proljeća.

"Dika" je dobila ime po nadimku visovačkog fratra fra Ivana Ušljebrke, omiljenog među pukom i vjernicima s prostora rijeke Krke, poznatog po svojoj dobrostivosti, druželjubivog i marnoga pastira prema svakome tko kroči na Visovac. Bio je na diku svima.
Nekad je to bio jedan od velikih čamaca za spašavanje na nekom brodu za krstarenje, takozvani life boat. Pa bi se moglo reći da je sada u službi za duhovnost onih koji njime plove.
Na Visovcu nas je, u odsutnosti gvardijana fra Marka Nimca dočekao domagistar novicijata fra Stojan Damjanović, koji nas je uputio razgledati dio samostanskoga muzeja, koji se sada obnavlja i proširuje s drugim bogatim sadržajima, nakon velike izložbe bogatih predmeta i artefakata u Zagrebu prije godinu dana. U muzeju je poznata slika Marije Magdalene s djetetom, replika originala slikara Tizianove škole.
- Uobičajeno je, kazuje fra Stojan, da vjernički puk hodočasti Gospi Visovačkoj od Milosti u svako doba, pa i u vrijeme velikih blagdana. Ali te blagdane ponajprije štuju u svojim župama, a na Visovac u takve dane dolaze moliti Gospi za milost i položiti zavjete. A osobito vrlo masovno, 2. kolovoza na blagdan Gospe od Anđela.
Inače, dodaje fra Stojan, napokon su nam počeli dolaziti i turisti, jer voze brodovi Nacionalnog parka Krka, pa se i za njih pripremamo. Napokon, popustila je i Korona.

U šetnji otokom susreli smo dvoje mladih iz Austrije koji su na Visovac došli brodom "Vuk Mandušić" iz flote Nacionalnog parka. Kazali su nam da nisu mogli zamisliti da na hrvatskim rijekama postoji i takav otok kao što je Visovac, "pravi kutak rajske prirode", kako su rekli.
U crkvi otvorenoj za posjetitelje, prišli smo oltaru sa slikom Gospe koja drži Isusa a uz nju su sv. Franjo i sv. Ivan Krstitelj. Sliku su prije više od pola tisućljeća na Visovac donijeli franjevci iz Kraljeve Sutjeske u Bosni, pošto je Visovac u doba turskih osvajanja u vrijeme Kandijskog rata u 17. stoljeću bio poharan, a fratri morali pobjeći u Šibenik, u samostan sv. Lovre.
Kopija te znamenite Gospine slike u srebrenom okviru nosi se redovito u svim procesijama u ophodu njenim otokom.
